LiDARScanner3D will show you a very, very, very low rez model. Then it will ask you “Want higher resolution?” If you click on the offer, it offers you “Heges”, a really really really bad app, for $9.
If you buy it, you have been scammed, because Heges is unusable. Avoid the scam.
It's fun to see how the LiDAR camera works but the final quality is pretty rough. There isn't much you can do with the resulting image. I tried it, had a laugh, then deleted it.
There is room for improvement, but very very good. If possible, increase the polygon count of regions that are given a lot of attention. For example, if the sensor is focused and brought closed for an object, instead of maintaining the basic polygon count, increase it to the max provided by the sensor. Also, prioritizing the most polygon covered areas—for example, I will get up close to an object to get the most accurate and focused reading, and when I walk off and scan other surfaces and then turn around and focus the original object again, it redraws polygons no matter the density which means that many regions will be redrawn as less polygon dense. Thank you.
It needs to mesh based on distance when it within a very close range threshold from an object to get details in on the things you move close to.
Other than that unfortunately there is no texture mapping.

edit: thanks to the developer for responding to my original review and informing me that there is an export option! keep it up!
Very cool app would be nice if there were a few extra features like editing and erasing mistakes and measuring tools
I saw LiDARScanner3D around the time the 2020 iPad pros were released and pushed me to upgrade from my old iPad. It’s so fun! I’d love if there was the possibility to overlay camera images over the scan in a future update, if possible!
