There’s absolutely no reason you should have to download an app just to charge. Especially with a lot of tourist down here and rental cars being evs. It’s ridiculous there’s no other way to activate the charge besides downloading FPLEVolution and creating an account.

What is going on with FPLEVolution ? Everything is like a blank slate now after latest update and it doesn’t show any charge stations whatsoever on the map. Also my favorited locations are empty too. Needs a major fix.

FPLEVolution wiped my forms of payment from my account, and then didn’t allow me to add new ones. After 30 minutes and talking with support, it eventually worked. They made me pay full price despite wasting so much time in the Sun. I want a refund

As mentioned previously don’t allow the use of password manager on account on account creation. I won’t use this unless you fix this.

App is VERY generic. Recommendations:
1. Charging start and stop times by charging sessions should be displayed when charging at home. Currently only shows total hours and minutes of charging sessions.
2. Charging sessions at home that carryover to the next day (after midnight) should be separated to two charging sessions. This would assist in filtering and determining daily charging allocations.
3. FPLEVolution should provide an energy consumed summary based on timeframe selected when charging at home. This would be helpful in quickly calculating used electricity instead of having to manually add the totals of multiple charging sessions.
4. App should offer an option to select and filter based on calendars days or FPL bill cycles.

I hope your backlog has the following user story.
As a user I would like to have the ability to modify wifi selection so that I can troubleshoot any connectivity issues and change wifi as needed.
Or something like that. You get the point. As a customer i should not have to wait 2 days to troubleshoot basic connectivity issues. Our only option is to call a 1800 number and wait for a support call 2 days later to just download the device app and modify settings.
A work around in the meantime would be to allow users to create an account with the charger manufacturers app. Not sure why that’s not allowed.

FPL needs to hire UI/UX experts. FPLEVolution has clearly been written by developers with no regard for the user experience. To create your initial password you cannot paste into the field. You can tap on the first field and have your password manager insert the password but you cannot do so on the second field. As soon as you try to click on your password manager to fill the password, focus is lost. This discourages the use of long secure passwords putting both FPL and their customer at risk.

I like the new redesign, app looks more premium now, but new update removed the option of using Apple Pay which is super convenient. Dear Product Managers, could you please ask your Developers to return Apply Pay options back to the product ☺️
