literally impossible to use it’s so glitchy AND why does there have to be an app for this type of thing
Our district went to BusQuest this year. It gives notifications that lead to nothing. I receive notifications that the bus is in”my zone”. And then the kids sit out there for 15-20 min, because it’s chiming the gps wrong(I guess) then I get 5-6 more notifications that it’s in my zone. Horrible app and waist of our schools money.
Having three kids in the same school district, I get no less than 18 notifications every day, letting me know that the bus has entered and left certain regions as BusQuest has determined. I deleted it. I’d rather guess when my kids are coming home then deal with BusQuest. It provides no useful information while at the same time being as so annoying I cannot compare any other I have on my phone.
Tracker has not functioned yet. App shows I have notifications. I click on my notifications. Nothing is there. Useless. Wish my kid’s school system didn’t change- last years app worked fine.
1) So many notifications alert received but there’s no message or information.
2) Cannot track school bus location! Where is our kids or bus at?
Because of our county board of education assign the contract with it, I downloaded. But BusQuest doesn’t do anything for parents or students.
All it ever says is loading after the first day. Now I can’t get it to work at all. Complete trash.
The live tracking doesn’t work at all. I can’t even draw/circle a zone. All it does is notify you when the bus has already arrived.
Our school just switched to this so this yr. We missed the bus because you can see the bus on the map. I work from home and it’s really important I can track the bus in the afternoon to make sure I’m at the stop on time. Very frustrating and stressful.
This has been the most frustrating process! BusQuest doesn’t work! It gets stuck “loading” and the page never actually loads! I have to delete and redownload BusQuest every single day! Who has time for that when you are trying to track the bus your child is on?! I really hate my sons school district decided to go this route. Smh
I don’t understand why the bus won’t track at all, so I’m hoping it does update to track soon. The other app we used before was much more useful.

The Bentonville Public School system in Arkansas has forced parents who need bus service for their children to download and use this horrible app to sign them up for service. There has not been any information provided that informs parents how their child’s private and sensitive data is being used by this 3rd party and what safeguards are in place to protect it. I’ve had to remove and redownload BusQuest just to get signed in. The request history displays erroneous data. Notifications are useless. Parents should not be forced into utilizing 3rd party apps for basic services provided by the public school system.
Ive made multiple accounts and it still won’t let me log in. Worse app ever#dontrecommend
BusQuest is very frustrating I want to jump in front of a bus after trying to make this work. No pun intended.
Should be bus guess. BusQuest is horrible. The support and customer service is even worse . Can’t get anyone to answer the phone or respond . I don’t know what is worse a incompetent transportation department or BusQuest.
Doesn’t track the bus. Doesn’t offer communication when it’s late. Doesn’t update attendance. I don’t see the point of BusQuest
Bus App does not update correctly. Will show the bus in the same location for 2+ hrs even if the bus has come and gone. Kids have missed the bus because app is very slow.
With the update, I get notifications for two busses as o should but can only see one on the map. Also clicking the student names never loads.
Literally nothing on BusQuest works and I just get a million notifications a day even after my kids are Already home. Pointless app!
You can’t even select options at the bottom of the page because they are below the viewable area. Useless.
BusQuest is awful. No matter how big the geofence, I’ve never received a single notification, even when the bus was in front of my house. There’s no live tracking - historical or current…not even an ETA. Deleting this waste of memory; do better.
The purpose of a app is to be useful for the user. If you going to trace a bus at least have a gps on the bus and a shape of the bus to see EXACTLY WHERE IS compare to your actual position. Having. A radius for know where might be the bus DOESNT WORK. BusQuest is not useful for parents. Please I got a suggestion talk to Uber or Lyft to show your company how to put the feature to actual track the bus location. Also when I get a notification I touch it But never said anything. Again what is the pusrpose of have a notification that doesn’t notify any thing.
It sometimes shows the bus but when you try and track it, it’s always saying it’s near Judson high school and never moves. I was right in front of the bus near my house and when I looked at the tracker that same bus number shows it’s near Judson high school I guess where all the buses normally park. I can never track my kiddos. What’s the point of BusQuest?
What could be more important than making sure my children are safe. I wish the developers of BusQuest would take their responsibility seriously! BusQuest never works it never will update the busses location. And as you can see from the other reviews that BusQuest falls well short of basic functionality. Shame on you developers! I will make sure I do everything to get my school to change apps.
BusQuest doesn’t work properly. You can’t see the buses on the map and it only shows your location. The only thing is tell you is the bus is in your area. You can’t see notifications when you open BusQuest . It is not helpful at all. What is the use of having BusQuest when it doesn’t work properly.
BusQuest is awful. It’s frustrating that our school district continues to waste our tax dollars on apps and companies like this. It’s absolutely non functional. Crashes constantly. You can’t even sign up because the available selections don’t work when you tap on them. They have no backup website to off set this, so you literally have no idea what the status of your child’s bus or route is, or if they even have one.
Our school just implemented BusQuest for the upcoming 24-25 school year but BusQuest won’t even open to get started. I have tried many different connections with no luck so it’s not on my end.
BusQuest is about 90% short of what it’s supposed to do. I hope the developers are not getting grants to roll this useless app out to the public. Parents need better bus tracking app than this!
I’m a junior in high school and I wanted to check my bus schedule; thing is, only parent accounts are available. I had to pretend I was my dad in order to check me and my brothers busses. Can this please get fixed?
Notifications pop up on my lock screen, but when I go to read them, there’s nothing in the notification section of BusQuest .
BusQuest does not work half the time. Initially i was receiving multiple notifications when the bus was in the area, as of this week i am not getting any at all. Very frustrating
BusQuest is great and usually works without issues. I would love to see the ability to reprint a new student badge. Kids are rough with their badges and need new ones from time to time and it’s not always convenient to travel to the school to have a new one printed. Especially when the school charges $10!
