After installing ColorizeOldPhotos, ColorizeOldPhotos was immediately able to access photos on the iPhone without permission in Settings > Privacy > Photos. In other words, ColorizeOldPhotos is *not* on the list of apps which have permission to access photos stored on the iPhone but ColorizeOldPhotos *is* able to access all photos on the iPhone. After opening an Apple Support case, I was informed by Apple that ColorizeOldPhotos uses an iOS feature that allows ColorizeOldPhotos to access photos without giving ColorizeOldPhotos permission in Settings > Privacy > Photos. This is not acceptable from a privacy standpoint.

I thought ColorizeOldPhotos had potential. After using it I got nice results. Now when selecting colors and colorization all photos come out blue in color. Also the color choices are limited. They need a color wheel so that a better selection of colors can be selected. I hope the developers address these issues. Again ColorizeOldPhotos has potential but it has a long ways to go.

I try to use it , but when I choose the photo nothing happened. I don’t know where tge problem . My device is IPHONE 7 plus . On IOS 13

At first i read the reviews and i was like maybe it's not that bad when it finished installing i entered ColorizeOldPhotos ,and honestly it was horrible, firstly there is literally no clicks nothing just a option to colorize your pic so i chose that and then chose a pic then it colorized it but it was horrible, like if you want a good app to edit and photograph your pics i really don't recommend ColorizeOldPhotos it is soo bad

When asked to choose a photo, it takes you to an unknown folder with some of your pictures but it doesn't tell you how to add photos to this folder. I have searched but to no avail.

Doesn't work or do anything. Just show you the B&W picture, and the only option you have is going back.

Hardly any color was added. It needs something to enhance color from the drab state I got from ColorizeOldPhotos .

Has very little control. Basically colors the faces a bit, but no clean up, nothing good here.

Even if you have a very clear black and white photo taken in very good day light if the photo has a lot of details ColorizeOldPhotos will crash.

The coloring is more just giving the photo some orange - brown tint
