Great for zwift

Best way to use Zwift without a power meter. Much better than speed sensor. Just take into account that it has a certain delay since it relies on heart rate and it's not good for sprints. But pretty great overall if you want to use Zwift on a budget.

Fail

I downloaded HR2VPBikeTrainingTracker and bought 1 month subscription to give it a good try. I read that it couldn’t run at the same time as another app. So I deleted ad downloaded on another device and it asked to pay again. So I went back to original device and it is recognizing my purchase. Either refund my 1.99 so I can purchase again, or cancel my subscription.

Why does HR2VPBikeTrainingTracker have to be so difficult.

HR was double actual

I read about HR2VPBikeTrainingTracker and quickly downloaded, hoping to integrate broadcast power to Zwift from a recumbent cycle. HR2VPBikeTrainingTracker found and paired with a Wahoo Tickr HR monitor, but the displayed HR was twice my actual HR. Given that, I did not attempt to run with Zwift. Also, I initially tried to download on an older iPad with 10.3 OS, but HR2VPBikeTrainingTracker refused to download even though it states version 10 and later.

Works with cycle computer?? jk NO!

I’m on IOS .. like most people. doesn’t work with cycling computer garmin 520. iOS doesn’t broadcast ant + and garmin doesn’t recognize Bluetooth iPhone as a power meter device. HR2VPBikeTrainingTracker doesn’t connect as a power meter into wahoo app either. Nor straight into strava as a background power meter. In fact it isn’t useful as a power meter at all until it pairs to something useful.

The free 15 minutes didn’t help. I purchase a garmin edge 500.. only to find it didn’t work. Then I bought a garmin 520 which is Bluetooth capable. This too doesn’t work. The free 15 minutes was definitely used before I was able to find this out. I purchased these because I was under the impression HR2VPBikeTrainingTracker would work. It does not.

After writing this out I’m downgrading my star score

Great but minor change needed

Overall HR2VPBikeTrainingTracker is great! The power is surprisingly accurate and it works perfectly with Zwift. The only downside is that I'm unable to minimize HR2VPBikeTrainingTracker or close my phone screen while using it - it'll just pause my Zwift ride. This would be a nice feature to have, but not a deal breaker.

Follow up

App didn’t connect with my Apple Watch so I purchased a Polar OH1+ Optical Heart Rate Sensor and HR2VPBikeTrainingTracker connects to it.

My subscription still says I’m using free but I can work with that since it is now working with Zwift.

Don’t work

Downloaded app and paired it to my galaxy watch and it never picks up the heart rate from my watch. Not going to pay for something I can’t even get to work for 15 minutes and wasted those trying to get it to work

Does not work with Zwift on iPad or iPhone.

Can not get it to connect to Zwift. The only reason I purchased it. Please refund my money
