This game started off as an interesting adventure. There were bugs here and there that I could over look because I knew it was still being worked on. I’m now on the last available level at this moment and it has literally become impossible. I have two of the highest gear, second best gun, and I can’t even get past the first boss in sector 6. Not to mention because I’m playing the final level I’m not getting keys for chests. But what really put the nail in the coffin isn’t just the lack of ability to upgrade my character after level 50 or how I can’t fragments to upgrade my gun or even how when I die I can’t use the gems or watch an ad and the game just closes but when I somehow managed to make it to the second boss of sector 6 and I fell through the ground and died. I’m tired of this

Edited: I’ve come back a year later to see how the game has improved but it’s gone downhill. I have to change my review from 4 stars down to 2.

Frustrations:
-Max lvl used to be 50, and it’s still 50. I’m currently level 82 and the level up NPC, where you go to select your lvl-up stats, has an annoying notification bubble. But since max lvl is 50 he does nothing for me.
-The mythic guns that I collected and maxed out in stats a year ago are now useless. The new mythic guns have way better stats at lv5 than my gun (Magma) has at max level. Max level costs 400 gems for the last lvl btw.
-BULLET SPONGES. There isn’t a skill cap in progression of world levels. There’s a damage cap. So instead of enemies becoming more tricky to kill in the later worlds, they simply soak more bullets. Nobody likes bullet sponges. To beat them you HAVE to get one of the best guns (mythic rarity) and you have to max it out.
-In game randomization is really really bad. Like in survival mode after you beat a boss every so many levels, you get 3 capsules to pick from. Each cap has a positive and negative stat. Recently for example 1 of 3 caps had the same positive and negative stats as another of the 3. Example: cap 1 was +10% fire rate and -200hp, and cap 2 was 25% fire rate and -150hp. Like obviously I’m choosing the better one. Why even put them together to pick from??

You only control what direction your character moves in. Actually firing is done automatically which isn’t really a problem per se but it makes it feel so much more shallow. I don’t have to keep my eyes on my enemies, manage ammo, or plan out in a seconds notice which enemy to take out first. All of that is automated. Playing through it each level plays out the same: stand in one spot, move slightly left/right to dodge enemy attacks and wait for the game to play itself and clear the room for you. Lather rinse repeat. I got bored in just a few minutes.

Such a minor gameplay decision marred what could have otherwise been a really fun stylish shooter.

I had fun, even when the game got pretty tough. However you can’t go past level 50 and the level up guy has all the stats maxed. I think the item rarity needs a drastic revisit. Legendary items need to be leveled up several times just to be on par with a lower tier item leveled up a bit. There is just no other way to get more powerful so I’m stuck. I’ve been logging in here and there just to rescue the kitty cat for some coins but becoming very pointless and annoying as I can’t get past the last few levels.

First and foremost, I had previously written a review (in which I had given the game 5 stars), but apparently it did not go through. The game is awesome, I love the story line, the graphics are awesome, I love the neo-post apocalyptic colors and feel. But the parts of the game that made grinding fun, have been taken away. Yeah, I saw the arena is “coming soon”, but to have to grind away at the 20 level stages just to come out with 1 golden key is terrible. Sadly, this game appears to be taking the path to “pay to win”, and if that’s the case, then that will end up being the demise of such a potentially great game. Also, the game freezes in and out now, like the frame rate glitches a bit- used to be super smooth. Curious to see how this update goes, but I’m pretty sure I’ll end up deleting this before “completing” the game and go back to the other 2 games I’ve already been grinding with for over a year.

At the start of the game, it is great. It’s colorful, it has a great story, so much potential. But as you get further in the game, glitches here glitches there. The first glitch I encountered was in one of the secret elevator things. It would bring you down to an enclosed space, and you would have to fight enemies for a item in a chest. Once the enemies where beaten, you would open the chest, and one of two things would happen. The first thing that could happen is you would get stuck opening the chest. You would sit with your arms in it like Link in the Ocarina of Time but you wouldn’t take the item out. You would have to restart the entire level to get out. The other thing that would happen is that you would get the item out of the chest, and you couldn’t take it. I got a weird mango thing but I couldn’t take it. Luckily, you could still continue the level. Other times, after you beat the levels boss, you would STRAIGHT UP fall through the FLOOR. You would be sucked into a black abyss and would have to restart the entire level! AFTER YOU BEAT IT ALREADY. So anyways awesome game design but you have to fix it up a little.

The first 3 areas had a good progression and the game mechanics were consistent. The “hazards” couldn’t hurt you after you defeated the enemies, you couldn’t get hit through corners by them. The fourth area started having some bugs and the bullet-hell aspect got amped up. The fifth area is just frustrating. The spinning laser turrets can still hit you while you are just trying to pick your upgrade, or even when you are frozen on the elevator. You just get popped for another 100 damage because the exit is in the line of fire. You can’t effectively dodge the lasers and only some of the taller obstacles can block them.

The camera tracks to bosses and not the player, all but guaranteeing you’ll die needlessly. Difficulty is just more bosses at the same time whose attacks you can’t dodge due to a weak dodge button. I’ve had glitches, taken damage behind cover, and gotten two shotted by bosses despite being lvl 40. Oh and the random chests mean you can open five or ten without getting a single measly upgrade for any of your equipped items. This IS a fun game, but like most mobile games you’ll play it for two weeks and then forget it forever. Shocking they offer an option to pay 100 dollars for gems. That’s absurd.

It’s a very fun game for awhile, the 5 lives is very annoying cause it makes it very hard to progress very fast. Now for my bigger problem: boss, especially the city 5 final level. It is impossible to pass! They have 2 bosses at a time in one room meaning twice the dodging but you still have to kill both. Plus because of the auto-aim function it makes it harder cause you can’t just easily focus on one boss or enemy unless your close enough. There should be some type of manual aim function to help be able to target one boss to try to kill first

This game is great, it’s just the right balance of challenging and attainable. It has its share of things that can be slightly annoying, but only one thing for me lowers it from 5 stars, and that is balance issues.

Many of the abilities are either lesser redundant versions of other abilities, just not very good, or straight up a detriment to get. Particularly I’m talking about the hurricane and takedown abilities, I would rather NOT get an ability than have to use these two.

Gameplay and art design are both amazing. Controls feel great as well. Only complaint is that some bosses are incredibly difficult, especially if you get them in the 5th section when you don’t have many upgrades. The double frog boss gang up on you easily with one frog shooting rounds of projectiles with the other moving in to hit you, effectively guaranteeing you will get hit. Past zone 3, it feels like a revival is basically needed to beat any level.

Loved it! I will admit when I got to the last zone it wasn’t easy and my only option was to grind the first boss level over and over so I could make it out with 5 golden keys. I would do that 5 times until I ran out of lives, and then upgrade my gear, but they took that feature out sooo that makes it pretty hard for anyone new considering the game. Also, now that I’ve beaten everything theres not much for me to do until the next update. I hope they revert that change! Anyway it’s a fun game nonetheless and I would recommend it to anyone.

Love the design, audio, and feel of the game. Feels smooth and runs well. The guns are unique and fun to unlock, the skills are well made, and the different movement mechanics allow for some fun gameplay. However, the small level design and mass of enemies on the screen makes some gameplay extremely difficult to beat without the use of a revive. The 5 life system doesn't allow for much playtime in one sitting and people who woud like to relax and enjoy the game longer are punished by this. Regardless, overall very fun.

Great game, generous rewards in a refreshing aesthetic. Too comments for the developers:

1. The character’s collider seems a little bigger than him, so he gets hit when the user, visually, expects a miss. This is very frustrating.

3. I have reached max ability upgrades (level 8 for each ability I think) pretty early on. The guy next to the truck still has a pink bubble next to him indicating that there is something to do in there. Am I missing something? I would expect that I should be able to upgrade some more but nope. Please advise

I play Brawl Stars, I thought this looked similar so I downloaded it. This is actually quite a good game, despite not having multiplayer. Challenging, but fun. I like the well thought out upgrade system and it’s fun unlocking new items. I just finished the 4th world and haven’t spent a penny, I love that all the ads are optional but give rewards if you choose to watch them. Thanks for a great game.

I love this game it’s given me plenty of happiness between busy parts of work, however this new update is relatively buggy. I opened it after never having an issue and load times were tripled interactions with the NPCs and daily box took 5-10 seconds to load, and I went to open the iron key chest and my screen went to white after and extremely choppy opening. This is all just me reporting a bug before the newest version this game was amazing game and I’m confident that after the next bug fix rolls in the game will be right back at the top of my list! Y’all developing this keep up the amazing work.

This game is very reminiscent of old school arcade shooters. It’s highly addictive, fun, and incredibly well made. Gameplay is smooth, and controls are responsive. The shop isn’t intrusive, nor does it take away from the game itself, and the grind is reasonable if you wish to remain f2p. Wouldn’t surprise me at all if this game ends up on editor’s choice list, or #1 on SuperClone Store by the end of the year. What a fantastic little game, well done! When is arena update dropping??? Let’s go!!!

I love the game, it’s been absolutely phenomenal. I been having a blast playing through all of the levels and trying out new weapons and such. My only problem is in core city , specifically with one boss that is just down right unfair. The charging bull boss that is joined with the spinning top. The fight it’s just way too difficult to the point of impossible, especially when you have to fight it in the final stage 7 of core city. It’s the only thing I’ve been stuck on and I’ve been trying to “grind” but it seems no amount of leveling gets me past this ridicules fight. Please nerf these guys.

When I first saw this game I thought that it was going to be a paid game and I wasn’t willing to pay any money for it but when the game turned out to be free I downloaded it immediately. The game overall is super fun to play, the upgrading system is nice and I like the 12h login system. The only thing I would recommend is changing the amount of lives that you have 5 lives isn’t much and even if you beat a level you still lose the life. I just find it hard to progress in the game when you can only beat 5 levels at a time maximum. Otherwise I’m very pleased with the game and the art style is very appealing to the eye.

Game is much like all the other Archero type clones but has enough to make it stand out from the rest. I love the theme, the neon colorful graphics, the battles are fast paced and there’s enough that’s different about some of the mechanics that make it unique in it’s own right. The devs did an excellent job on this game and I have been enjoying it since I downloaded and started playing. I look forward to see how the game progresses and evolves with future updates. Keep up the good work!
