Marquee network very disappointing First of all you have some ridiculously boring announcers no wonder people think baseball is boring which it is not The radio announcers on the score are way more interesting I have to listen to the radio and turn the volume off on the app which is a croc of Since I have to pay to watch WGN was doing just fine since I was a kid, the Cubs should not have messed with a good thing Also I’m paying for the app why do I have to endure commercials?

Please explain the reasoning of putting that female on tv coverage withJD. He has a good knowledge of the game and a great sense of humor. She adds absolutely nothing with her poor attempt to use phrasing and voice inflections to sound like a jock.I miss the banter between JD and his former partner. Please revive your lineup, she may be a nice person but she won’t even bring females to the game. Use Rick and Dempster to talk about the basics and their experiences and send her to cover Bean Bag throwing.
PLEASE have JD be on EVERY broadcast! While I do not mind Sutcliffe’s input OCCASIONALLY, JD has so much more information to add for fans. JD is sorely missed when he is not in the booth. I pay for these broadcasts; put the best announcers on every game. I do not feel I am getting my dollar value when JD is gone. There is not any explanation for his absence. Marquee already has issues; do not add to the problem list by not having JD on the air. Could you please let us know WHY he isn’t on every broadcast? Thank you! I love the Cubs…I have season tickets. Listen to the fan base!!!
TERRIBLE CAMERA WORK by the Marquee Network broadcasting Cubs games. BORING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THERE ARE NEVER ANY CAMERA SHOTS OF: fans catching foul balls, fans who caught home run balls, fans who give the ball to a child, interesting outfits worn by fans, fans getting excited during rallies, hats, banners, cute couples, babies or kids, city scenery, ie; the skyline, lake michigan, the streets outside Wrigley. NOTHING. ALL WE SEE ON TV IS: The pitcher, the hitter, the catcher, the runner, the dugout. THEN, AFTER EVERY PITCH, WE SEE CLOSEUPS OF: The pitcher, the hitter, the catcher, the runner, AGAIN. OVER AND OVER AND OVER, THE SAME BORING CAMERA SHOTS. MARQUEE NETWORK COVERAGE OF THE CUBS IS THE WORST AND MOST BORING BASEBALL BROADCAST IN HISTORY. We miss Arne Harris, WGN, and the excellent, interesting, comical, and humorous camera shots that were shown of Wrigley Field.
We are paying xfinity $16 per month to get sports channels and Marquee $8.95 per month to get the Cubs games live. We’re following your published Cubs schedule, and several published afternoon game times have shown some other sports event, and we only get the Cubs encore AFTER THE GAME IS OVER. Why is Marquee airing the Cubs this way? Shouldn’t the Cubs be favored on “The Cubs’ Network?” We feel cheated.
Have Direct tv in Purvis, Ms. Marquee is in my subscription, unfortunately, haven’t been able to get it. Direct tv said marquee is having trouble nationwide, but I don’t believe it. What the heck is the reason I am not receiving the service. We reset the box twice, so that’s not the problem. Am from Chicago, and I want to watch the Cubs!

First, if I could give zero stars I would. I was so excited when I heard the Cubs were going to have their own network similar to the Yankees and the YES network. But, in my humble opinion the Marquee adventure has been a disaster. Like many, I had cut the cord on traditional cable. But, I am a TRUE Cubs fan and schedule and plan my days around Cubs games. Therefore, I had to use the RCN network in my building to get the games. That’s fine its whatever, cost of being a fan (same as cost of doing business lol). With that being said, a lot of times I’m not home, or at a friend’s place, or whatever. Long story short the App is straight trash, the network content is hot garbage, and you can’t stream to other devices that don’t have Airplay or AppleTV. Not to mention you have to have an iPhone, I mean if you don’t have an iPhone well you don’t have an iPhone. But, that’s neither here nor there. Marquee is owned by the Ricketts and the Cubs. STEP YOUR GAME UP!!! We deserve so much better!!!!!!

Where do you get off? I pay for Marquee in addition to cable; and here you are FORCING me to watch ads through the app MID INNING. You obviously do NOT understand Chicago Cubs fans. You are a terrible network and you will not be getting another contract. Fix your app and your FORCED advertisements for PAID customers. Literally wasting my time and money for sub par content and coverage. Make all the fun shows and cute ideas that you want; you’ll still never be able to broadcast 1 game without any technical issues in the output to homes. Trash trash trash From Sinclair. No one at Marquee production should ever be able to hold a job elsewhere. Watching the games is painful. Would rather listen to 670 a.m and not deal with all the crap you throw on the digital feeds and the app. Literal trash they could not fix if they wanted to.

I was so excited to be able to watch Cubs games on the app, but so far it has been a huge disappointment. When the app is launched, you can briefly see that live action is happening, but then the screen jumps to a commercial before you can actually watch the game. What on earth is up with that? Also extremely frustrating is that you can’t pause or rewind live games nor can you record them. In this day and age, it is downright bizarre to not provide that kind of functionality. Finally, about every other time I open the app I just get a blank screen and I end up having to delete and re-download the app before I can watch anything. I really hope the app will be upgraded soon to provide more functionality.
