What is Sound XP?
The ION Sound XP™ app is designed to enhance your sound experiences with compatible ION speakers. The app allows you to control your speaker's functionality from up to 100 feet away, including adjusting volume, lighting, equalizer settings, changing input sources, checking battery status, saving radio presets, and more. The app controls music that streams from other apps on your device, and you must first connect your device to the speaker via Bluetooth® before connecting with the app to control your streaming music remotely.

Really smooth!
All features controlled seamlessly from iPhone instead of using teeny remote or looking at the back of the unit. I’m pleasantly surprised that it’s a great radio device also. Mic levels for the two inputs also can be controlled by the app. Makes the value of the device even better!

Two weeks. Nothing fails. Great sound, equalizer is great. Use app to control everything. Awesome. Just went and bought a second for my teen.

Simple concept that doesn’t work.
If I am connected via Bluetooth, why can’t this app work to change the volume? So simple. Yet, it only worked super slow the 1st time I tried and then it stopped working. Must be someone’s high school kid that created it for a class project. No way a professional corporate development team would create such a dysfunctional product. Here’s hoping for v2 that only does what v1 is supposed to do.
