Useful in ways Reminders isn't

I use this app for daily and other scheduled items that must be checked off every day. I use it to remember if I've taken my daily meds, or if this the week my garbage goes to the curb or just the recycling. It's strength in in tracking regularly repeating events.

I still use Apple Reminders for either reusable lists (like packing lists), or for one-off to-do items. I had tried using Reminders for everything, but that just resulted in me ignoring the badge alerts and not getting things done.

I really appreciate the custom/edit completion date functionality in case I forgot to check off an item the day before (or accidentally checked one off).

Great adhd management tool

I really need to get on a routine and I think this could be the trick to keeping track of my daily tasks. I just wish to see a few tweaks to Recurrence . I would like a feature to rearrange the tasks after I add them, to better fit my real time schedule.. or at least be able to add specific times, especially on due dates to non recurring items so I can see exactly how long I’ve been putting things off. It would also be nice to see my items reappear in the order I completed them, instead of the order I added them to Recurrence . Other than these small fixable issues, Recurrence is a really helpful tool.

Amazing, just want one more thing

Love Recurrence, it does exactly what I need it to. I use it to keep track of my household chores and to keep track of when I last cleaned a certain area. My one gripe with it is that the notifications don’t continuously push through when an item is overdue. They will send once, but won’t automatically send a notification when you are overdue, so if you don’t check Recurrence , you won’t realize it’s overdue! That’s the big thing I would like added, but otherwise it works great!

Great for one organized set of tasks

this app is great for organizing regularly occuring tasks. I use it for keeping track of cleaning chores.

I especially love that I can schedule the next occurance to happen x-number of days after completion. In other apps, if I get behind in doing a chore and then mark it done, the next task will say it's due sooner. I just cleaned it. Clean is clean no matter how long I put it off before. This is especially wonderful after returning from vacation.

Reminder app I've been wanting for years

This is app is great for setting up frequent tasks that you don't want to forget. Changing your air filters, cleaning your bathrooms, etc. I've only had a few issues so far. Syncing between devices is a bit slow. Notificatrions also are not well implemented. If I get multiple reminders but 'complete' one of them, the rest disappear with it.

Best repeating todo ever

I have a ton of mundane daily/weekly repeating todo’s that totally clog up my reminders on my calendar. Every todo I tried would immediately fill in tomorrow as soon as I completed one, so the list always appeared to have more yet to be done, or, more irritating didn’t bother to list what was today and what was tomorrow. This doesn’t do that. Everything about this is well thought out and carefully designed by the developer. I love having the color coded categories in Recurrence , although I wish they carried over to the widget, just to add some color to the Home Screen widget. This is one todo app I am glad I bought. The free version is great because it doesn’t hide some features and you can actually see before you buy what Recurrence does. You won’t regret it.

Excellent app

I am really enjoying Recurrence so far. I like that you can make it so you only see what is due today and minimize the 7 day look and forever look. (But you can also check those 2 other views whenever you want). One thing that might be nice, and maybe there is a way to do this already, but it would be nice to be able to put in one-off things as well so that I can have everything in one place. So for example, if I only need to prepare for a specific lecture once, then I can still put that as a task in this app. Other than that, I really love Recurrence and the paid version is worth it.

Stellar app

I'm not the type to leave reviews, but Recurrence really deserves it. Absolutely phenomenal. Full disclosure, I do have the paid subscription. As a person with ADHD, having a widget that lets me tick of tasks directly on my home screen is a life saver. I have everything from chores to medication to reminders to rotate my passwords. One of the best features is that I can look at my history on a task to see how often I'm actually doing it. This has been incredibly helpful for tracking when I take as-needed medications.

Absolutely my favorite habit tracking app, hands down.

The app I have been hunting for!!

Finally! What I needed is exactly what Recurrence does. I needed the ability to keep track of the history of my recurring tasks so I could see it easily, quickly and clearly the history of when XYZ was last done (example: feed flowers).

Apps that didn’t spike my anxiety also didn’t give me clear history. Apps that provided history were bent on “judging me” as to whether I was “late” on doing things.

Love Recurrence. Subscribed quickly and happily.

Perfect for the stuff that was cluttering my task list

I have only one feature request: I would like to have things I do more than one time a day. The shortest interval now is daily. But when I want to introduce new habits to a workflow (do 100 push-ups thruout the day), I'd love to be reminded. Kind of like "Stand" or "Mindfulness" reminders in Apple Watch. Perhaps nagging feature, too, like DUE.

The UI is super strong and simple. Fills a big need in my workflows. It augments habit tracking really well.

Must Have!

An amazing productivity app!! Interface feels clean and user friendly! Absolutely love the fact that it keeps track of task completions!!!-Amazing feature.

I would recommend including a feature that lets the user re-order the tasks on the item screen, instead of going to the settings. Makes it a lot easier, I like to re-order tasks constantly per priority.

Overall, AMAZING APP! A MUST if your deciding on subscribing to it! 😊

The app you didn’t know you needed

Recurrence is exactly what I’ve been looking for to keep track of all the recurring tasks I can never remember to do! I’m so happy I no longer have to set complicated reminders. Additionally, the pre-populated ideas made me realize how many more things I could use Recurrence to keep track of. The user friendly interface, the categories, and color coding make this every Type-A person’s dream!

Simple and effective

I’ve been using Google Calendar to keep track of recurring household maintenance tasks, but wanted to find a better system. Recurrence is basically perfect. It is simple, easy to use, and has all the basic features you would want for recurring tasks. I purchased the lifetime premium upgrade shortly after I started using it because I could quickly tell it was a great app. Overall, I am very pleased.

Lifesaving bill app

When bill paying became my responsibility I was overwhelmed!!
Recurrence has helped me keep up with when due (monthly , bimonthly, quarterly, annual), how paid (online, autopay, and all the other associated with each bill (website info, customer ID info, phone numbers)
There are various ways to organize my data to meet my needs!
