I’ve been burnt out on news for a long time. All of the mainstream news sources are so untrustworthy, I just wasn’t willing to put in the time and effort to read and research their take on the news to make sure it was legit.

With this app I don’t have to worry about that. They handle news like it was meant to be handled: they present multiple perspectives, cite their sources, and clearly mark editorials. I truly believe this is the most genuine and truthful news network on the internet, and the only news network I follow anymore.

I started with the Babylon Bee but then went backwards to his web comics. I could never get in to The Christian Daily Reporter but when I heard about this app. I was interested and signed up for the newsletter. It is read immediately as soon as it arrives in my inbox. Disrn makes reading the stories that much easier. Since signing up for Disrn there hasn’t been a day that I haven’t opened it up and read something. I feel like I am better informed and find myself being more interested in current events.

I have been getting the Adam Ford newsletter long enough to be thrilled that Disrn was finally released. I know it was a labor of love for the guys over there. I love Disrn ! It has all the news I want to hear and gives it in a short enough report that I can be caught up in a matter of minutes! It also has links to full reports if I want to know more about something. Keep up the good work!

this app has become one of the only news sites I check. They do a very good job of pulling in important news, summarizing it, and giving you links if you want to dig deeper. I can get the important news of the day in a few minutes and then go about my life, which, in my view, is a lot better than spending half an hour checking all the major news sites.

I once watched the news almost religiously, but overtime I was so tired of people trying to tell me what to think about what happened. I have a brain, I can jump to my own crazy conclusions, but I digress. Finally, a place to find out what happened. Just the facts. Finally someone telling me, “This happened yesterday over there involving three people.”

Finally a news app that shows the news! Not just the opinions of the current media ownership. They actually have a section listed as opinion. What a novel idea! Disrn is smooth and easy to use. Easy to search and save articles that you might want to share with friends and family or random strangers online! Very impressed! Glad I downloaded.

I love this app! Not only do they cover the main news stories everyone else does but they also have news I wouldn’t know about without their reporting. I can scan the headlines and get the gist or read the well written articles to get details. I read a lot and have gotten into the habit of reading this app first.

Disrn taps into my favorite news source. this app consistently stays ahead of the news curve and delivers the handful of daily stories that actually matter and don’t rely on click bait. This is particularly true as it pertains to stories centered in a Christian worldview. Get informed, manage your online time better, be moved to action, update your prayer list= download Disrn.

What can I say? If you’re a fan of this app, you’ll be a fan of Disrn. It’s a much better reading and viewing experience than the mobile website. At the time of writing this review, there are less ads in Disrn than on the website which I appreciate. You only get ads once you tap on an article to read it.

this app provides clear, concise news and I’ve been recommending them to all of my friends at church. In just one click, you have access to all of the current events you need to know about. I’d give them more than 5 stars if I could because it’s the only news publication that I’ve ever actually liked. Thanks for finally developing an app!

The only negative I can say is that one article was written using the term “gun violence” instead of violent crime committed with a gun. (Guns are tools like knives and cars and scissors and kill no one all by themselves-you need a negligent or wicked heart using the tool to do that.) This is the only negative so far. Otherwise I love the stories covered and appreciate the morally grounded worldview.

Most new apps are hard to figure out for those of us who tend to be tech challenged, and many are “buggy.” Not this one! This is a wonderful way to be able to keep up with what’s really happening and what’s important without having to check email! Thank you for designing this and letting me try it.

ready like an endless lunch buffet and salad bar. Instead of getting the stuffed crust option, I got what you’d call the “Loaded News Dipper” option. Filled with noteworthy news and facts along with expert-marksmanship on citations and references. That’s how I like it!

Now, where did I put that famous ranch dressing at?

I have loved this app and have been using it since it was just an email newsletter. The news is faithful and presents articles relevant to a Christian and has been a blessing in my life.

HOWEVER, this week I have noticed many of the advertisements being sexually provocative. If the inappropriate and tempting aspects of the adds displayed is not changed, I will have no option but to stop using this service. I ask that you address these issues to protect the hearts of brothers in Christ.

this app is amazing. If you want to stay up to date with current events but don’t have the time to read lengthy articles or are worried about biased reporting - this app is the way to go. Plus Disrn is super easy to use and navigate - I love how easily I can bookmark interesting articles and go back to them as needed.

I love that this app reports on events that I care about, like the persecuted church and pro-life stories, in addition to the stories with the most important political and cultural impact. The stories are short, but with links to additional information if I want to learn more. Also, the opinion pieces are fantastic.

Delete your CNN/ANC/MSN whatever news app. (Hey, maybe you even want to delete Fox, that’s fine too). Keep this one. It summarizes, notes, and clarifies the real “need to know”. Stop reading terribly acquired news, it’s bad for your health. Probably...according to one of the aforementioned news sites.

Love Disrn/news site!! It’ll keep you in the know without dragging you through the unnecessary details that other news articles do. Check it out!

this app gets the news to me in the best way - just the facts, as fast(or faster) than other news apps, and the UI is pleasing to the eye and the brain while I read. It also only shows ACTUAL news, not special-interest fluff pieces or advertising disguised as “journalism.”

I love that on this app I can quickly check what’s important news. Articles are short and to the point, facts only, no partisan spin. When I have more time, the opinion pieces are good and thought provoking.

this app is a wonderful place to get your news from, but sometimes it’s hard for you to read the news unless you get notifications shoved in your face. I’m happy to say, this app does an amazing job sending me the right notifications at the right time. I literally downloaded Disrn a few days ago and barely used it until I received a notification this morning about a story I cared about. Now I love Disrn and can’t wait for the next notification.
