Reflection and Centering

Mined has been such an amazing find after stumbling across Mark Groves on social media. I walk away from every discussion with at least one gem that I can take with me and reflect on. I have been working hard in therapy the last 2 years, trying to dig deep and do the work. I’ve found that this works amazing in tandem with that, offering an opportunity for meaningful topics of self reflection between appointments. The things I’ve picked up on Mined have even helped me break through a few places my therapist and I had gotten stuck. Just having that different view or way of seeing something from some of the amazing people on here has helped put context around topics I couldn’t seem to break through. I am so grateful for those putting this out in the world, as I know it has an impact on me and so many others. Great find!!

Toxic positivity

I can't imagine the ideal client Mined is designed for. I was looking forward to it but it's full of aggressive un-help: toxic positivity from those popular in their fields. The messages are simply not true- "you manifest what you believe" in relationships does not account for the other person's autonomy and puts the responsibility on the individual to try to control their thoughts so that the best thing shows up. This is unhelpful for victims of abuse- you do not manifest your abuse. The professionals on Mined do not present as trauma-informed in the slightest. In one talk, a psychiatrist says you can prevent yourself from reacting to triggers through "awareness". Again, this is simply not true. Asking survivors in particular, anyone who might be hurt and on Mined seeking help in general, to access their potential triggers so they can prevent having reactions to them is unsafe and unfair and simply not the way trauma responses work. Trying to offer that as a solution is asking people to be retraumatized on purpose. These professionals are being irresponsible with their advice. I can't stress enough that the messages peddled on Mined are going to cause harm to a lot of people.

What the world needs

Mined is beautiful because it provides opportunity for instruction, discussion and community all on the subjects of self-care, self-worth, motivation, and relationships. The experts on Mined offer so many beautiful insights from a variety of perspectives, and they do a wonderful job of addressing questions and feedback in the live sessions. The community in the live sessions is amazing as well. You find support and encouragement from the people in the live chats with you. This work can feel really lonely sometimes, but Mined is a place that celebrates the work you do in coming into alignment with your highest self. I have been using Mined for about a month now, and I am just so thankful that some thing like this now exists. I couldn’t recommend it more highly.

The most helpful and Amazing App you can possibly have!

I’m positive Mark Groves is the biggest rock star I have come across in life! He moves me more than Robert Plant, JZ, Mick Jagger, and so many others! Trust me music has always had the most influence in my life and still does! However this Mine’d App is so life changing and is constantly making me grow and move through the pain of the past and the present. I mention Mark because he was the first to take me on the journey of self help and real change in my life. All of the people I have listened to so far on Mine’d have impacted me so much! Once you start with one of these teachers you can’t stop. It’s addicting in the best possible way! I’ve had therapy my whole life and am thankful and proud for sticking with my therapist’s. However this kind of platform hasn’t always been available. On Mine’d you can learn, heal and grow on any subject you never thought you needed. It’s always available and I have some of my best date nights ever with these great people on Mine’d. It’s my Netflix and all the channels;) Thankful to have all of these amazing teachers!❤️

Love it but one request!

Love Mined and the idea of it! My girlfriends and I just went on a long road trip and listened to one of these and it started a pretty good conversation with us. I don’t think we realized we were all struggling with something in our relationships that we could all relate to. My one request though would be to make the ‘My schedule’ show previously recorded sessions that we set the alarm for. Or like a ‘my saved recordings’. I’m on the east coast so I usually don’t hear these sessions until the next day. This would be a bit more user friendly.

LOVE this!

I downloaded Mined a couple of weeks ago and I’m REALLY REALLY enjoying listening to ALL of the speakers who are taking the time to discuss a variety of important life topics.I’ve been watching a lot of the videos on demand as I haven’t been able to watch a live one yet… Note to the tech guys on Mined : Please add something to track/mark as “watched” the videos we’ve already watched so far in each of the series, so we know what we’ve watched and what’s remaining! Thank you!!

Coregulation at its best

So grateful you all developed this platform and such a good reprieve from social media . I’ve been on her since September and it is still a gem , thanks for all everyone does to show up , be vulnerable and share wisdom . As real as it gets!

I am loving Mined. I start my day with the uplifting, yet real, authentic lessons. I sit outside and watch the sunrise and drink my chai. I find it helps start my day on the up and up. I do not find it to be ‘fake positivity’, only a lift up. You are not your thoughts but your thoughts are important and you can learn to shift out of victim mentality to empower yourself and still hold others accountable for real wrongs.

LOVE!!

This is the best app for self-love! The sessions are the perfect amount of time and there are so many sessions, you can easily fit this mindfulness app into any busy schedule! I’ve really enjoyed hearing and interacting with those who make some of my favorite content, and also new faces I’ve also come to enjoy sharing with.

So much great content

I found Mined because of Mark Groves and it is fantastic. The content is top quality and I have learned so much. It’s an excellent platform to get easily digestible content on well-being, relationships, family dynamics, etc. Social media but for mental health! And it’s free for all of 2020. I only gave it 4 out of 5 because there are still some features that need to be built out, like a search bar.

This app is a must have!!✨

I’ve been using the Mine’d app since June of 2021 and I’ve learned so much about myself, my life and my relationships. I thank the co-founders everyday for creating this brilliant app and also offering all of this content for free. The speakers are top notch. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I’m obsessed.😍🍀

Wonderful app!

Found Mined because I have been following Mark Groves for a few months now. I feel like I have several therapists for free (in 2020). There’s so many great, inspiring experts on here and I feel so much calmness when I tune into these live sessions. Thank you guys for giving us Mined for free this year! 🙏🏼

Mine’d has taught me more than years with a counselor.

I am so grateful to have found Mined. Mark Groves is amazing and I have learned so much about myself. Far more than I learned in YEARS with counseling and therapy. I only wish that I had learned this when I was younger but better late than never.

Love love love LOVE

In case the title didn’t get though, I LOVE this. I am so grateful for this, and I’ve connected so deeply to Kylie McBeath’s series on codependency. I love that there is a live option as well as the chance to revisit it later on. Thanks Mark and all the professionals for another seriously great resource for raising the bar I have for my own life. So awesome.

Life changing

I love Mined for all the content that is being provided, to help people live a more mindful life. My only problem are the issues that I have with is connecting and get my videos to play in a smooth matter, could be my internet tho.

Incredibly helpful app!

Mine’d is such a beautiful space to interact and hear experts in their field discuss human behavior, relationships, and overall wellness. There is not another space like this, it’s helped improve my life and offered new perspective. So grateful this is available and accessible for us!

The best in class

Mine’d is a game changer. It not only gives users access to the best coaches in the world, but also to the Mine’d community. I’ve been using / teaching on their for 3 months now and it is magic. If you are trying to level up.. this is Mined !

By

Insightful

This has helped me immensely. In all aspects of my life. The facilitators are wonderful, respectful, and truly care about the community and the type of content they put out. Would recommend to any human.

By

Missing a few key features

The contest is fantastic, however, there is no way to pause an episode and then get back to it. Mined is lacking a function of tracking content you already played or where in the process of playing for you to get back to. Very frustrating.
