Trying to sign up but can’t confirm my email because the confirmation email hasn’t been sent. I tried resending it via app but it doesn’t work, I checked my inbox, spam, trash, and nothing there is no confirmation email. Trying to get support but page is not found. The idea of Listenable is good but it’s definitely not a good start if I can’t even sign up or get support.

Instructors are a mixed bag, some are decent, but quite a few are painful to listen to, often due to vocal quality, but also a fair amount of the lesson content seems trite. There appears to be minimal quality control when it comes to instruction, so I found it wasn’t worth the hassle to try and sift through to find decent courses or instructors. I love the idea, and even the UI is good, but the overall execution of content is disappointing.
That being said, I did want to like Listenable , and I was hoping to use this on long car rides, but no way to download the lessons so it’s entirely dependent on an internet connection. I found it’s not really worth listening to in any other context. There may be some hidden gems, but they remain hidden.
The biggest issue is the lack of transparency for cancelling. The state you can cancel through iTunes subscriptions, but if you happen to sign up through the website, that is not an option for you and there is no other option mentioned in Listenable help section. This means it’s unclear how to cancel if you exclusively use this app through Listenable as I did. It leaves you with no clear information on your subscription status, no email notifications or receipts, and you be be billed unexpectedly as I was, and left with unhelpful customer service in these circumstances.

Listenable use to be able to continuously play chapters and so on. Now it’ll stop after a chapter finishes and I have to press play to continue. Now let’s say there could be 15 chapters, I would have to continually press play 15 times. Also before this problem there was the play all chapters but the very last chapter error.

I love highbrows website- so I thought to give Listenable a try. Having the audio form of the 5 minute lessons is truly a game changer! I can see myself using this during my morning coffee or commutes to work. That being said, It would be nice to read the lessons also!

I love this app. It’s the perfect way to learn a new topic or better your skill without too much fuss. It’s so easy to pick a new course and get through it fairly quickly. Would recommend to anyone!

So, since I’m always on the go, this is a really great app to listen to and learn at the same time. this app is also a great place to learn new things if you want to get your brain wheels turning.

I’ve been using this app for a few months now and must say it’s the best decision I made in Listenable Store. I’m able to listen in learn as I make long commutes. Total game changer for me.

Excellent! Can’t believe how much I learned in such a tiny amount of time- incredible really. Macken Murphy manages to corral a massive subject into a short story but without making the topic feel oversimplified. In fact, I feel super informed now and his amusing, entertaining style makes the information very easy to remember. I hope he does another one!

Listenable is from the makers of highbrow, which I already love, and these audio versions are even better! It’s like listening to an educational audiobook, but one that isn’t boring. You can learn a ton of new information by downloading Listenable!

From a teacher’s perspective, this is a really well built app. I think the idea of courses structured in bite-size lessons is outstanding, and the interface of Listenable is user friendly and super relaxing

this app is helping me develop new skills, inform of topics I didn't know and the best part is that I can listen to any lesson while doing chores around the house. I recommend Listenable to anyone looking to improve themselves.

Excellent app for new reads. A great collection of this app content. The variety is great. I wish the time to listen to more content before having to pay for a yearly fee. Otherwise, a great app and program.

this app is a great tool to add to your morning routine. Courses are broken up into sections that are a few minutes long. Perfect for quick listening before you get your day started.

this app has short lessons that I enjoy while I’m getting ready in the morning. Listenable is easy to use, and the content of the lessons is interesting. I feel like I’ve accomplished so much in the morning when I begin with these boosts of knowledge.

I thoroughly enjoyed Listenable. It’s bite size learning with ease. I can slow down and dive in when I want to or continue to listen and learn as I go through work, chores, life, etc. Aesthetically it’s also really beautiful, which only enhances the experience.

Learning something new everyday is the secret for a successful life. It doesn’t matter what it is as long as something new. At this app you only need 5 minutes a day to learn a new skill. A 30-min commute could be the best learning experience.

I started and finished several Highbrow courses and mostly read the e-mail lessons on my laptop and a few times on my cell phone. The this app app allows for hands-free learning of Highbrow courses. I think there’s benefit in audio learning platforms such as this one and others.

As another reviewer mentioned, this an audio adaptation of the Highbrow email-based courses. You can learn about topics like design thinking and business negotiation in 4-5 minute audio segments that add up to short courses that are about an hour long. Convenient and fun!

If you like podcasts or audiobooks, this is a great way to take courses. Each course, at least that I’ve seen, is ten lessons long, with each lesson being five to ten minutes. Listenable didn’t have much content at first but new courses are being added at a really fast pace now so it’s well worth getting.

Good session but the speakers voice was a little annoying

this app is a simple app to use and provides great content for self development. The audio format of the courses makes the content easy to consume, and there are many awesome topics including meditation, sleep, negotiation, personal finance, etc.
