I have tried reaching out multiple times through email since there’s no other support system for WPS office and have never received any response. I have used this program for four years and would say I am almost completely happy with it outside of the fact that when I have started having issues I’ve had no help. I have deleted hundreds of files with no change in my cloud storage and now that I have finally reached my max with only 10 files in my cloud I have absolutely no room and I feel almost as if I am being forced to upgrade my account because there’s literally nowhere to go to delete these supposed files that are holding up all the cloud storage space. I’m very unhappy as there’s absolutely nothing I can do now because every file that I delete doesn’t even free up any room for myself.

I shouldn’t have to transfer files from one version of the same software application to the newer version. Not only does the new version not offer or automatically transfer the files itself, but there is no mechanism I can find to do so!

I can’t even go in with the new version to a file list and upload them. Only files saved in this version are visible to this version. Therefore WPSOffice is completely worthless to me as I don’t want to re-create all my files.

I’m so lost. 1st time a pop up shows up saying I need to transfer my docs to new app due to no upgrade or support of old app as of 12/11. Ok past the deadline but no big deal. When I follow directions to go to my documents, only a handful of my docs are listed, all with very old update dates. I’ve been using WPSOffice for years and I’m in it almost every day. Why are my documents so outdated and missing everything I use regularly? I save documents the same way I have been for years. I’m afraid to do anything and lose years of history I don’t have anywhere else. If I email them to myself and upload to new app, all formulas are gone and I am not about to enter those again in my excel docs. This is too risky and inconvenient for long time users.

After being ill throughout the holidays I was finally ready to sit back down and write using WPS Office.
I have my phone set to offload unused apps, so of course, since I hadn't used WPS Office since the beginning of December it was offloaded.
Now, I do to use WPS Office and discover that it will not download as I get the message, ”Unable to Download WPS Office. WPSOffice is unavailable in WPSOffice store.”

So, I download the new app thinking maybe, just maybe there's an explanation. Except there is NOT.

Months and MONTHS of work is gone into thin air with absolutely ZERO way to recover it. ALL of it is just gone!

Even messaging the help center within WPSOffice and emailing them is of ZERO help. My message in the help center conveniently disappeared and my emails have gone unanswered.

I suppose the next step is reporting WPS to WPSOffice store which is unfortunate as their original interface was fine just the way it was. This update was simply a scam to get users to pay for WPS Membership and services and unfortunately, I can see it backfiring. 😒

Just downloaded it and took a long while to figure out a way to get WPS to load a file. I actually had to do it by highlighting the file from the file app and then opening the WPS.

WPS does not recognize nor store files in places the File app can see. So when you finish updating a document, you then have to remember to share that document back to a place the Files app can see. Huge flaw in the system.

The WPS file system for documents should be able to be seen by the Files app.

I have lost multiple files trying to move from an older version of WPS to a new version. There is no simple way to move to the new versions and take the file/folders with you, without your having to jump through “iclouds, transfer programs that cost money, etc. I have name apps that upgrade without affecting the folder/files that remain. Very disappointed. Multiple hours and time trying to re-enter the documents, then to be told a new version is out and it will not be supported after Dec 11.

4 star for the overall quality of WPS, 1 star for its functioning on iPad. There are a lot of stupid things that preventing WPS office on iPad from a good replacement of your laptop. For example, when you are using the pdf app and want to make some comments on a specific punctuation or a letter, apple seems to do its best to prevent you from picking it right. If you just need a free app to read or do some simple changes on your ipad, then it’s a good choice. If you are looking for an iPad replacement of your laptop Microsoft office, forget about it.

I followed the directions for transferring the files from the old WPS to the new WPS. The only problem is that it created copies of the files in the old version, not the new. I tried again and got the same result. I now have 3 copies of each file in the old version and none in the new version. Aaaargh! It is confusing trying to determine on the iPad which icon is for the old and which is for the new as they appear identical. It would have helped tremendously if somehow the developer had changed the icon color, image or added something to the new one to differentiate it from he old icon. I’m guessing that may be the problem as only one WPS icon comes up when I try to save the zip file which I assumed was the new version. Help!

Other than this snafu, I have been relatively pleased with the the programs.

It is the best of all. Using it now for almost 4 years. The only draw back to be considered by the developers is compatibility of bulletings and numberings with Microsoft documents because almost all of us here read Ms office made ppts so please consider this. I am a happy customer so your timely response means a lot.

Apples failure or refusal to create a useful file management system is what keeps the iPad from replacing the laptop as your computing system. Finding files, making files available to programs like WPS office is difficult if not impossible. If I ever succeed in figuring out the maze.... I can not repeat it unless by dumb luck I stumble upon the sequence again.
Please, WPS or Apple.... fix this obsfucation.... or should I call it a cluster %#$&

My Apple Id used to be in the Chinese region. About a month ago I shifted it into the American region. One day WPS office asked me to update and App Store told me that WPSOffice is no longer available. I searched for it and found this. I wonder why it becomes different apps in different region. Now I have 2 WPS with exactly the same Icon and name. Oh, my goodness, who can fix the BUG??!!

Great for college. WPSOffice and program is very fantastic if you subscribed you will have the annotated document especially pdf across devices. They also included 1GB of free cloud for sync across devices. You can use your own however it will be mouth more work importing from your file to WPSOffice and at the end export out to the file itself through the file management and save to one of the cloud storage like google drive, iCloud, OneDrive, and more. But if you want to be less hassles subscribe is the way to go.

1- on old APP go to Documents tab. ( Bottom second from left. )
2- choose select. ( top right)
3- choose select all. ( top left)
4- choose merge and share (bottom right)
5- click go to compress.
6- give a file name. This can be anything just so you can find it. All your files and folders will be in a zip file now. And it is placed under documents on the old app.
7- once the zip folder is ready. It’s going to pop a window where you want it to be move to. Choose the new WPS APP.
8- go to the new app and open the Zipped folder.

I’m not a big “office” suite user, but I’ve found excellent MS Office compatibility and, frankly...? I think developers have done an outstanding job delivering functionality usability. IMO, paid “VIP” subscription is a bargain. Works better for me the Apple office apps (unless they’ve improved) - better integration & standards compatibility.

I downloaded WPSOffice at the beginning of my journey back to school at 50. WPSOffice has allowed me to complete assignments, transfer and share documents and print them.
I’ve even created banners using the free downloads
Two thumbs up oh yeah I love the upgrades

I was able to learn to export to DropBox and import back from DropBox almost immediately. It may require editing your actions in the iOS UI.

I also am able to change font size. The text needs to be selected in order to change the size.

Easy app.

intuitive and way ahead of others in terms of features & functionality both on mobile & desktop!
Just loves the fact it has built in cloud integrations (WPS cloud, Dropbox & OneDrive) and also gives auto backup and recovery option for local files as well!!!

This is the best app i have found todo support the modern business person. Everything you need in one location to open files of multiple types, review and mark up drafts, sign legal documents- all without having to print them off. Nothing else comes close

WPS Office is by far the best app to use for any of your document needs. What you can do for free without a subscription is more than you'll need for your daily document needs.
The voice reader is a bit basic, but it still does an exceptional job.
Transferring pdfs to word docs is excellent.
I recommend WPSOffice to anyone using IOS

I was looking for a reader on my iPad for weeks now to help with my college projects. I even try downloading from WPSOffice Store and the did not work .but this one works perfectly great for me.
I even called apple tech support and they could not help.
Not know all along that WPSOffice was sitting on my iPad.
I would surely recommend WPSOffice.

The new app is useless without cloud access to Google Drive. I get the following error message:
” WPSOffice has not been verified yet by Google in order to use Google Sign In”

The designers created an incredibly difficult to use system. I couldn’t figure out how to import a document , something that should be simple and intuitive, they have made impossibly difficult.

Tried to repair a file that disappeared from my computer after I saved it. Instead of repairing file, WPS posted an ad for a subscription for premium - to which I was already subscribed. And it happened again after I paid their ransom! Hit the “repair” button after “files repair” found my lost files - and another ad popped up!

I had documents on the previous app that I had been working on for over a year. I was still working on them. I followed the instructions to download them on the new app, but they all downloaded as PDF files. Now, I can’t edit them. I can’t convert them to a document without PAYING for a VIP membership. I’m so upset that I’m actually considering suing the creators to get my documents back if they don’t fix this.

I use MS Office in Windows and really like the way files are readable and editable on my iPad. There is a lot of information for me to access on the go without having to lug a laptop, or check and edit after retiring for the night.

The new instructions for transfer of data from the old WPS program work perfectly now. I love this program. Have been using the old version for around four years. The new version is excellent.
