I emailed SavySoda support and received an automated reply with a reference number. That is all after months of me sending desperate requests for some help.

Save yourself some grief and use a different app to store documents. There are several good ones from Reputable companies. This one is not!

It is one of several Savy Soda products which I have purchased but found to be completely nonfunctional. This will not open spreadsheets without renaming .xls to .csv and even then all that changes is the error message. Support is horrendous. Usability is zero. I’m not picky, just want the basic... Show more s to carry an Excel spreadsheet on the go on an iOS device fro sometimes months at a time. Despite many hours I have yet to gain this functionality for a minute.

I have actually tried several Savy Soda products and none of them are functional. None can handle the basics... opening or creating an Excel spreadsheet (or other office doc) on an iOS app, editing it and saving it in a Microsoft a Office format. I have contacted customer support numerous times and receive form letter emails. I put the issues where instructed and have never received a response, let alone a resolution.

I have effectively paid to be an unpaid alpha release tester for Savy Soda. I will never again consider a purchase of any Savy Soda application.

Funny how they don't post negative reviews. I left a 2 star review a while ago and it never got posted. DocumentsOfficeDocs doesn’t work correctly. It doesn't save colors. It doesn’t save with .doc extension, it only saves documents with RTF extension. Spreadsheet files are limited to CSV extensio... Show more n. It does not copy and paste from other csv or xls files. It saves newly created empty files and multiple copies of edited documents even when you hit “don’t save”. It doesn’t save files to iCloud folder even after you set the document storage folder to iCloud. The help files are either nonexistent or they don’t make sense for DocumentsOfficeDocs. There is no possible way there could be so many recently posted 5 star reviews of DocumentsOfficeDocs! It doesn't work correctly. Very few critical reviews. LOL. Really? By all means, download DocumentsOfficeDocs! Find out for yourself. However, if they ever actually fix any of the above mentioned issues, I'll be happy to update my review with 5 stars 😊

I love DocumentsOfficeDocs. I used DocumentsOfficeDocs for three years with no issues. I’m giving it two stars in this review because I have uninstalled and reinstalled DocumentsOfficeDocs several times because of a bug that I can’t figure out how to manually fix. The issue has been that I can’t apply changes to the font. There’s no option anymore to apply the changes I make after I click the font button. I can set it to “Times New Roman”, size “15”, but I cannot apply the change, or exit out of the font changer. It may be just that my device is “behind” (I am working with an iPod Touch 6th Gen), but if I can download DocumentsOfficeDocs , it should function correctly regardless of what I’m working with.

I love DocumentsOfficeDocs, it’s been very useful to me as a writer, so please check and fix this problem.

I was really blown away by how easy it is to set up and use DocumentsOfficeDocs. I was looking for some way to track my daily medical information. I kept going through the little booklets they give at the doctors office and just wanted to keep track of it on my iPhone. So now I have it one place. ... Show more Date, Morning Sugar level along with before/after sugar levels taking Janumet with meals, Morning Meds, Evening Meds, Victoza shot, also blood pressure readings through out the day and any Notes.
The only reason I didn’t give it a higher rating was today is the first day. After a month of using it I may go higher in the rating.

After all the great reviews here, I hoped that this compared with OfficeSuite because I hadn’t yet found a work around to a recent change there. I was very surprised to see how limited DocumentsOfficeDocs is. Very small feature set, very basic UI, and saves only as rtf from what I could see.

Hi, I appreciate DocumentsOfficeDocs, and like it very much. I have the following suggestions on improvements for your consideration:
(1) Suggest to add a function: when tap the top of an opened document (maybe the document name), it will automatically bring the document to the bottom line. If ... Show more would be helpful when the document is really long.
(2) Suggest to NOT alway popping out a dialogue box to choose “save” or “not save” when closing a document, IF the document was only opened and viewed without any revisions or updates. The save/not save options should be only given when a document was modified.
(3) Suggest to add a function of “bullet” for editing the content of a document.

Constantly I make notes on sometimes whatever’s closest to me at the time, i.e. (paper napkins) I love the concept that I can take those ideas and the vision in the moment and I can create a document to capture the moment in time!

My notes are very well managed with the Documents app. Only issues that can be improved is, better description or even a slight tutorial would help easy the confusion I had when trying to operate DocumentsOfficeDocs. Easy to use. And I like that DocumentsOfficeDocs can grab a file from dropbox as easily as a file sent to you by email.
It works nicely with excel spreadsheets and word documents. Even pdf files!

Just a heads up since the update there’s been an issue with changing font and size. For some reason it gets stuck in the screen. There’s no way out but to close down the document and start over. Other than that it’s a terrific app

This is a great, straightforward app. It's easy to organize documents and their content. My one pet peeve has to do with font size, but that's really a slight-rain-when-you'd-been-hoping-for-only-grey-clouds sort of annoyance. Not substantial in the least.

I have known about Apple's free document app for a few years and have been using it on my phone for every kind of letter, list and note you can imagine. The design is very simple and makes DocumentsOfficeDocs easy to use. You can create folders, documents, upload photos, and scan. Everything is free! I would have given it maybe a 3. But since I started using it again. I’m super disappointed. I’ll copy my doc. Written in my iPhone notepad. Make all my adjustments to documents.. when I save it’s fine. But it’s hard to just view again without clicking out and coming to the first page.

I have used this program since its introduction, and found it to be a useful alternative to paying Microsoft again to use Word on my iPhone.

Deleting and Negative Reviews are the only way we can stop ridiculous ads like this; I suggest you do the same

I copy/pasted the following from this apps Online Help section under the FAQs: “Unfortunately, you cannot edit a .doc or .docx file at the moment. However, you can view the content of .doc and .docx file.”

Document applications allows me to write notes in provided spaces that I am not using for addition. I like the spread sheet adopt ability to my personal needs for doing monthly bills. I can plan my savings with the money not used in paying bill. So when I do my online banking l know what to pay...
