This is literally a piece of junk! It falsely advertises to you a 3 day free trial upon opening QuickArt . Once opened, it then will charge you for the entire month right away. I have never experienced this with any other app offering free trials.
QuickArt developers response to other buyers stating or insinuating that the buyer doesn’t read QuickArt purchase prompt properly is bull droppings. Any other app that offers you a free trial DOES NOT charge you immediately. Instead it will charge you after the very next day of which the trial period ends.
Going onto apple support’s link to request a refund, it will show you that the purchase doesn’t have a receipt either. So you may or may not get reimbursement. I just called my bank to dispute the charge and have it dealt with that way.
This is not an app worth over $21 dollars a month in recurring fees. And the other buyers are correct when they say that QuickArt is definitely a scam! Don’t bother with emailing the support page from the developer either. They’ll just give you a round about reason foe why they’re not responsible for refunds and continue to not fix their app and mislead customers into a subscription they didn’t want! Just based off of this, I wouldn’t even give it 1 star but that was my only option in order to write a review.

These have to be fake reviews because everyone is saying how great QuickArt is and that it’s free but it’s a lie. You can’t do anything without subscribing to QuickArt for $89 a year. It had a pop up that asked me to subscribe and before I could take my thumb off the button it charged me $89!!! Really? $89 dollars just to make pictures look like cartoons?? Who would pay that much for this??

Response to the developer: what you are saying is completely false. As soon as I opened your so called free app it wouldn’t allow me to do ANYTHING until I subscribed. There was no price listed for the subscription and it just asked me to put my thumb on my print reader to subscribe. I just happened to notice that as it was scanning my thumb Apple had a message that said I was subscribing for $89 per year which is ridiculous for what you are offering. Your app is clearly set up to trick people into paying for a subscription with the hopes that they don’t notice the price or they don’t take the time to figure out how to dispute it. If not then tell me one feature that you can do before subscribing. I notice how deceitfully you worded your reply as to not say what features you get before or after your subscription. Apple should remove QuickArt from QuickArt Store or make you list it for $89

An absolute scam. Literally fraud, it said it was giving me three days to decide and then it charged 20 dollars to my account.
QuickArt itself is nothing more than a series of half baked photoshop filters, which surprise surprise you can’t actually use to make a cartoon version of yourself. It’s nothing more than a threshold effect, maybe some posterization. QuickArt is built cheap but is also. My advice is when you see ads for this clickbait junk, make a cartoon version of yourself or see what you’ll look like when your older, don’t give it a chance. You’ll get some cheap filters that could cost you 20$ a week. Who doesn’t want to spend 80$ a month on an app they’ll never use?

I downloaded QuickArt. I immediately opened it in hopes to play around with it and see if I liked it. BUT, I didn’t get that opportunity.
When I opened QuickArt , the screen ONLY gave the option of pressing “continue.” I kept trying to tap anywhere else, and nothing was happening.
So, I pressed continue.
HUGE mistake! The moment I lifted my thumb, I was charged just over $95!!! What?!?! Are you kidding me?!?!
I absolutely did NOT want to make a purchase! I wasn’t even given an option to cancel it!
Do NOT give me the same ridiculous reply you gave someone else - trying to blame it on Apple. It was YOUR app that didn’t have any other option upon opening it for the first time!
Free? Absolutely NOTHING was free!
You scammed me, and others.
I’m demanding my money back. AND, warning others.
Fix your app, or BE HONEST and tell people it’s $89 plus taxes!!!!
But, no matter what, I WILL get my money back. This is unbelievable.

Update- there is no way to cancel this subscription.
I am on a FIXED INCOME!
I’ve already reached out to an attorney. The developer CAN be sued for false advertising and more.
Please, unless you don’t mind being swindled out of your money, avoid QuickArt like you’d avoid making out with someone who has COVID-19!

I downloaded QuickArt to try out. QuickArt showed 3-day trial right on the main screen when signing up! I used QuickArt for a couple hours, did not like it at all. Went straight to QuickArt Store & cancelled QuickArt . Still got charged, didn’t have QuickArt even 24 hours.

Don’t suggest contacting Apple because they are just as bad, I advised of the advertisement of the 3 day trial but it was suggest the plan I choose didn’t have a 3 day trial, but it shows 1 week, 1 month and 1 year subscriptions offer a 3 day trial. So what plan was I on? When you look at my receipts, it shows the free trial download then it shows another 5 min later of a paid subscription that I absolutely did not choose! So as soon as you download QuickArt, it pushes a subscription on you!!

QuickArt has false advertisement. Either the wording needs to be fixed or do not even offer a trial. Because I did cancel within 24 hours and still got charged. Apple is no help either.

Not sure what it did to my phone but as soon as I downloaded my phone started to act like it was updating itself. And as I’m waiting for the phone to turn on I try to use QuickArt but of course it’s asking me for subscription. I believe it will charge you for free subscription and once you click yes, it sends an agreement to pay for subscription so don’t do it. The company is fraudulent and Apple will see on their end that you agreed to a subscription. You have been warned. I can tell the other reviewers are getting the same copy paste response from developers to email them but it’s not going to help because they want to scam you. The only way you may get your money back is if you call the bank and tell them it’s a scam app which it is. QuickArt itself is not convenient or fun in anyway.

I am updating my review but I will keep the rating of 1 star. It is pretty clear after seeing multiple reviews similar to the issues I have indicated in my review regarding how this particular app is extremely misleading. It shows up as a free app initially but doing the process of downloading QuickArt it doesn’t prompt anything regarding an annual fee until it automatically charges your iTunes account. There is absolutely no way would I have purchased an app for $89. Fortunately, after pursuing a complaint I was reimbursed the $89. However, it is clear that the developer and/or apple is unaware of how acquiring QuickArt is very misleading on the $89 annual fee. Reading multiple reviews from several customers it appears there is a problem and the developer is not acknowledging or accepting that there is a problem based on the response I received as well as the response other customers have received. There is a problem and it needs to be addressed.

So far it’s been really good app, totally worth the money for the lifetime price. Thanks for great app at an awesome price. The free version was okay too but I get anxious and I just love to unlock all the possibilities at once :) I really like QuickArt. There are TONS of filter and edit options (and I don’t have a subscription). I think some folks may not realize there is a little grey x button if your not interested in a subscription/trial. Will be using all the time. For professional and amateur photographers 10/10 also if ur reading this Jesus loves you

Love it soo much! It can works smoothly and quickly. And the filters and functions in it are so cool. I don’t usually write reviews , but you guys have impressed me yet again with an awesome app! And for anyone who’s a little skeptical of whether or not you should download , you can animate photos in the free version as advertised on Instagram; which is tons of fun, and when you’re done with your projects it gives the options to save into your camera roll and to also post your project on social media! Totally recommend QuickArt , 10/10 !

I really want to know what do I look like when I’m getting bigger and I can edit for my pictures with the filters and this is it’s fun. At first, I was pretty skeptical about QuickArt . Mostly because there are so many pretty and artful photo editor, but on my opinion, this is not one of them. It is super amazing that you can do real-time cutout!! Whit that you can look like travel around the world. It’s fun and it is a great way to express yourself without being judged. Grea tfilter effect and cutout effect. QuickArt is really easy to use. Love all the photo filters inside ‍

This is an amazing app and for people to give it low stars because they went for the free trial and forgot about it and was charged is ridiculous. It clearly states cancel before free trial is up if not they will assume you want to continue and will automatically start billing you. It’s not rocket science almost every free trial in QuickArt store are the same like this! It is worth it guys! I wish i could post the pictures i edited on here. You will not regret. I usually dont pay for apps but honestly this is worth it ! I love QuickArt, it’s the best selfie editor I’ve ever experienced so far! Thank you for a fantastic app.

i love QuickArt so much. it’s great for editing and it takes some time to learn how to use it but once you get the hang of it it starts getting easier and easier. i learned how to use it myself in just a couple of days! i really recommend using QuickArt! I tried this and practice this edit everyday and turn out it came out perfect even I posted on tiktok and got famous so I prefer to use QuickArt. Thank you very much ！ i love QuickArt so much. it’s great for editing and it takes some time to learn how to use it but once you get the hang of it it starts getting easier and easier. QuickArt has helped me with so many insecurities   ‍

Hello! I heard that in QuickArt you can make really cool edits. I tried it out and I wasn’t disappointed! I do wish there were more effects for non-premium users, but other than that its really good! Besides, i have some problems. I’ve problems editing pictures on my phone which is an iPhone XS Max. After I select a picture to be edited, it disappears after a few seconds and the screen becomes white. But I noticed it isn’t so on a different brand of IPhone. I’m a monthly subscriber and I’m loving QuickArt so far! One suggestion is adding in a preview option so you can see what your project looks like up close!!‍    ‍ ‌

I never post a pic on IG without using my trusted this app app and I don’t even have the paid version.. and now there’s a video editor! I’m so excited to try it out! Thank you creators! For allowing me to have the confidence I waited years to have. This is the best app I’ve ever used in my life!! I’ve never felt so confident!!!! This is a wonderful and simple to use application. Even though I don’t use it very often, maybe only a couple times per year for some quick touch up work, I’m still happy they offered (and I purchased) a yearlong subscription. Thanks for offering that this app! Perfect app you don’t even need to buy all filters it is so good   ‍​

I’v been using QuickArt for a while now and I really want to buy the extras but I don’t have any money, and I’m excited for this weekend, because I get to pull weeds in my naber’s yard, and get paid, so I can buy the VIP pack. I love QuickArt there is little add or nothing i love it. An app that not only helps makes you pics pop but it actually end up being a hobby. App is getting better all the time (I’m a subscriber). Edit your selfie as naturally or (fake) as you desire! Cutout and change the background、put filter on your photos and so on! I must say I normally don’t write reviews. QuickArt I have paid for all the tools and the developer teams have been doing nothing but enhancing everything they can.

I love to paint and draw. QuickArt makes everything easier you don’t have to be good at drawing or painting it does the work for you. I showed my family what I made from QuickArt and they liked it I think it works best on views like a forest and I think it work worst on people I think this is a good app 5 stars!! Amazing effects that make your pics look like the ones used by Marvel. QuickArt is amazing! Just 4/5 stars because it’s with subscription. When they will add lifetime purchase, it will be 5/5. One of the best you can find around. QuickArt is great but when I save my pictures to my photos it comes out sideways. I hope it gets fixed in an update. :note to developer: Please fix this bug I really need it to be fixed. FIX IT FOR A COOKIE OR A CAKE ‌

I love getting to edit pictures how I want. I don’t have the premium version, because the free version works just as good. I have had QuickArt for a while, and I enjoy it a lot. I’m love that it is not “likes and shares” because you can just express yourself without worrying about. I absolutely love QuickArt! I can post whatever I would like and not feel judged. I've edited so so so many pictures with QuickArt and posted about 600 photos on it. I truly recommend QuickArt to anyone that enjoys editing pictures. 11/10. I love QuickArt it so good so like i want to tell you guys download it. It enhances your looks and make you more pretty. Love QuickArt and I highly recommend it because it’s one of the best cartoon picture app and photo editor ever‌

I ended up editing on QuickArt, and submitting it to a photography contest at our fair and winning First place! The UI is simple and easy to navigate, you can always find exactly what you’re looking for. The tutorials are insightful and well-put together. Not to mention that low low price of Free! I personally haven’t tried the membership yet, but I am definitely considering it, because QuickArt truly is one of the beat photo editors!

Omg I love this so much!! It’s easy to use and allows me to do so many cool stuff, I make Instagram edits with this app and it’s going so well! But I do have a request... My request is could you add velocity to it? I know there is speed control but it’s kinda choppy. I enjoy the different stuff I can do with it. Love love love it. Love the way the camera makes me look which is great and flawless. It makes me look like a super model, even though I’m a crusty little blob so I’m pretty happy with it :) Love QuickArt so much. The new update is awesome! The free version of this editing software is really good couldn't say any thing bad about it I love it! QuickArt is WONDERFUL. It has so many filters choose from to make your pictures great. I would totally recommend QuickArt for everybody who can use a phone to make youself an artist!     ‌

I rarely purchase an app that has a subscription, but QuickArt is well worth the $$!!! After trying so many other photo editing apps I finally found one that lets me create detailed sketches AND lets me fine tune the lines with a stroke of my finger anywhere in the sketch. I love QuickArt. Easy to use with multiple options. To make things even more appealing, when I had an error message and contacted them for help they helped me get it resolved inside 24 hours. Super impressed. Awesomcutout to a lot of my projects. I can change my background as I like!! Incredible! Very nice app. Put your photo in another level. I was looking for something just like this but nothing was right and than I found this it great. Good app it’s free and great you can add touch ups and very many filters. You can save the photos and make merchandise‍ ‌     ​
