Why would Resmed send me an email asking me to participate in a study, have me download and app, and then have me open ProjectFit to finally discover that iPhone 13 isn’t supported?! Dicks.

Why would anyone give a third party their facial recognition data?????

It wouldn’t accept the email address I use to connect with ResMed. The error message was completely mysterious, and seemed to be directed at an email admin, instead of a user. Deleted app.

Upload kept failing. Going back through to “revoke my consent” and it will not let me. Just be prepared to grant them access to your data and scan of your face for whatever the reason and not be able to refuse it. Also remember anybody stating you “could” win a gift card for data has there own interest in mind, not yours.

I tried so many times to get my face scanned. Whenever I put “other” or “preferred not to say” for race ProjectFit wouldn’t work at out, whenever, I put down a rave I was able to pass to scan.. however, ProjectFit closed on me 5 times after scanning half of my face. Don’t waste your time with ProjectFit!

Absolute garbage of an app. If you want people to take part in your research, make sure your data collection app actually works. Don’t waste your time trying to participate in this study. It doesn’t work.

Have completed the information three times and each time ProjectFit fails to upload the data. Fix ProjectFit and then release a proper version!

Tried a few times from start to finish, but ultimately the end was not successful as the ‘upload failed’.

I would LOVE to participate as every night when I put on my ill-fitting mask (medium too big, small too small) I think someone out there has to be able to build a better mask. I have tried many so was very excited to see this, yet it doesn’t work on newer iPhones or iPads? I sure hope you didn’t invest a lot in ProjectFit because it’s a joke. Guess it answers my question of how you can’t figure out a better mask.

Tge email inviting me to do this has a download link that points to another sleep app from another company. Additionally , ProjectFit does not support the current iPhone series 13xxx. That doesn’t make sense as it’s the same mapping / scanning technology as the 12xxx. Bit of a shame as I would love to give feedback on minor fit issues I have

I received an email from ResMed inviting me to participate in this project so I downloaded ProjectFit . After it was downloaded I found out that for some reason they don’t support the most recent iPhone. They told me to try on an older device. As if I have an older device sitting around. Thanks for nothing.

I have an older iPhone but there is a cloud issue with AWS SES and my email.

It’s really hard to rate when I am able to start ProjectFit but it doesn’t even complete the registration after many retries at different times of the day

Of my info and watch the video, it crashes once it tells me to turn my head to the left. I’ve redone this 5x and I’m done. It’s annoying and will not continue until this problem is fixed.

I don’t understand them spamming their customers with emails to complete their survey when their survey app won’t work with current generation iPhones (13, 13 Pro, etc.). Thanks for wasting our time, Resmed.

If you can get ProjectFit to open, then it will not register users b/c of a mid-configuration in the AWS SES service. When I tried to send in a note on the ResMed website…a captcha error prevents the message to to be submitted.

Overall: not a good look for ResMed.

Is there a technical reason why the latest iPhones are not supported, or do you just need to update ProjectFit ?
13 isn’t even that new! We’re halfway to 14s now…

I’d love to participate in this study, but unless you have the best iPhone around, you can’t. I have the newest SE iPhone and that’s not good enough. Do better, this is ridiculous.

As the previous person mentioned, I too received an email and tried downloading to also be told it would not work on my IPhone 13.

After I got the email and went to ProjectFit Store I read many of the reviews complaining that it doesn’t work. One thing ready about ProjectFit is that it is a beta test so I concluded that there will be issues. But I figured I would give it a try anyway. I down loaded it direct from ProjectFit Store opened and followed the on screen instructions. I had no issues and went through the whole process with out any problems. I am using an iPhone XS Max.

Entered all my info & scan. At the end of the process it try’s to upload but keeps showing error message!
