Droppath Best Route Planner Reviews

I’ve used Route (in all its versions and slight name changes) for several years. It wasn’t perfect but was great at accurately plotting stops and pretty good (seemed to get confused when optimizing several stops) but, I was hopeful when I saw droppath the previous draw backs of Route would be fixed and that this new app would rock. Well, it is truly the worse routing app I’ve used. From the minimal map views to the awful way the stops can no longer be entered easily in list form, DroppathBestRoutePlanner is so bad! I paid for Route when it was 99 cents and became a subscriber to “make it better. You have lost me as a customer and I’ve reluctantly gone to Road Warrior.

I download the previous version of DroppathBestRoutePlanner “Route” and it seemed okay but when I saw that “Droppath” had launched and was better I immediately downloaded it. Only to find that the user interface wasn’t MUCH better than the previous and optimization of routes was not only cost a subscription but it wasn’t even the lowest subscription. The main reason I downloaded DroppathBestRoutePlanner was to optimize delivery routes. If I can’t do that for free (even with limitations) then bye.

Responsive dev and open to suggestions. Works hard at improving this.

Route is more user friendly. With route you can input mass addresses and remove stops once you deliver your packages so it doesn’t clutter the map. Droppath seems like its more for LTL truckers or salespeople rather than FedEx or UPS drivers. Being able to mass input address’s and remove them from the map is a big deal for people who have 100 stops a day and need a little more detailed map with less clutter.

Edit: to the dev response, you can only paste after you pay to do it. That’s cool, it’s your app, but being hidden by a paywall to do something simple that came free with the prior app is a step backwards. As far as turning a stop blue, it doesn’t remove the clutter from the map. If you have 17 deliveries on a city block, it’s better to remove the stops you’ve completed than to still have them on the map but just a different color. Drivers don’t want to have to thumb over completed stops to see what their next stop is.

Excellent app for what I do. Deliver political signs for multiple campaigns at a time. I couldn’t do it without DroppathBestRoutePlanner.

Where is the estimated route time?

It works on the first day. The second day let’s you add stops but doesn’t give you the route. Uninstalled and installed back again but doesn’t work. Go back to the other app
