Follow these steps to resolve intermittent Caption Plus app issues:

Force Stop the Caption Plus App
1. On android, goto "Settings" » click Caption Plus app. » click "Force Stop".

Update Caption Plus to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Caption Plus App Cache and Data:
1. On your device, goto "Settings" » click "Apps" » select "Caption Plus app" » click "Storage" » click "Clear Data" option. This Clears both data and cache.
2. Relaunch Caption Plus.
