Blue shield Updates have been forcing pain on users. Now I can not access the Blue shield site neither on phone nor On PC.
Just send me an email with a PDF of my card and a link to all of my benefits and it would be much less frustrating and functional than this worthless app.
It doesn’t work. Crashes. There was nothing wrong with the Blue Shield app. Now I can’t use it. And now there’s no usable app. Garbage.
The worst app ever! Keep on sending multiple emails after I got new claim Even at 12:50 am. Then redirected to a website for all useful information. What a joke!
Not impressed. No value add above the Blueshield app. More difficult to navigate, slower response times.
At the very least Blue Shield should give us the option to use this app or the standard Blueshield app.
Worst app design, the program is a joke as well. Emails say a reward is available but EngagementPoint does not allow to open in. Cruel and unusual punishment by my employer on this one
Basic benefit info is a challenge to access and navigation is not intuitive
A totally useless app that complicates access to health insurance info that was formerly available directly from my providers app which is no no longer accessible. Very frustrating.
I have logged in, but these days it always shows “Unable to transfer control to external website: You must log in before using this link.”
No one fixed it!
EngagementPoint looks like it was designed by undergraduate students in a lower-division user design course. I’m serious, I’ve seen literal intro to app coding UX look better than this. If everything you click is going to take you to an external webpage, why even have EngagementPoint ? Totally non-functional.
EngagementPoint is the worst. It continually re-routes you to websites that crash, crashes or times out when you attempt to do anything (I.e. adding dependents), horrible UI, etc. I hate it and it makes me want to die every time I use it.
The worse app I have installed on my phone ever, no kidding. Everything you do it takes you to an external page! Why having an app for that? USELESS. And it does not work at all, I tried to invite mu wife and the email never goes.
Absolutely the most useless and frustrating app I’ve ever used. Will not allow connection to my benefits, ID card, or anything I’m supposed to be able to access from EngagementPoint which means I have zero digital access to what was promised by using EngagementPoint. Pointless garbage!!!
I just want to find a doctor that my plan accepts. EngagementPoint is useless and points you to the web which repeatedly crashes. When you try to use the regular blue shield app you cannot. I can’t believe this is an actual consumer facing product. Dreadful!
Got forced to download EngagementPoint as my employer enrolled in the Engagement Point program. This is a glorified mobile webpage masquerading as an app.
Sacrifices all the utility of the Blue Shield app for non-essential engagement surveys:
-Has no security features like TouchID or Face ID
-links out to browser to load Blue Shield plan details, claim benefits, ID Cards
-no longer has clear integration to HSA account
Also, wellbeing survey paths are somewhat nonsensical: I took the tobacco assessment (and answered the first question with No, I have never smoked) in order earn engagement points and now constantly getting pushed to continue tobacco cessation program. :facepalm:
I haven’t seen the problems or issues reported in other reviews. I like that EngagementPoint consolidates information In one place, it is faster than going to multiple websites.
I was asked and downloaded EngagementPoint from my employer. Had the BlueShield app before and that was good too. I used to have a lot of different apps for vision and our pharmacy (why cant we just have one carrier) but this lets have access to all in one spot which is nice. Why I put 5 stars is that we had mental health issues during covid and I only found out that we had Ginger for mental health because it was already EngagementPoint . I dont work on a comupter, so it was nice to see what my benefits are from one spot.
