Sign In with Apple not working. False Advertising

Your App Store description and App Store images both state that you use Sign In with Apple. During the setup process on the watch, the app is prompting for name and email. I downloaded this because of the promise of privacy.
Either the application is being falsely advertised or something isn’t working.
In any case, apps like this can live entirely without identity and should when when possible. Apple gives developers the Health App and HealthKit so apps can truly be made private by design. Why do you need an email to begin with? Seems things aren’t so private after all.
Update: Thanks for your response. Feels like something isn’t working as you have mentioned. Your App Store description also says that email is opt-in and optional. Is it optional, or is it required?

It’s frustrating when I go to workout and I have been signed out some how??? And then it continues to ask me to sign in and doesn’t accept my password!!! Beyond frustrating I just want to freaking workout!!!
