What a joke

I have had WildAI since early 2020. It used to give you a good amount of features and then they created a part that you can pay for. Over the last 2 years they have quietly removed features in order to get you to upgrade to the subscription. You can’t even look at the calendar anymore unless you pay to upgrade. What a complete joke. I used to love WildAI for its simple features talk about a money grab.

Why offer a program you don’t have?

I downloaded WildAI because it integrates with my Oura ring. However, it was only after I downloaded it and signed up for the free trial that I discovered I can’t use it. I chose the Postpartum option and was returned back to the start screen because there’s no PP program. I’m breastfeeding and therefore I don’t have a period so I chose Amenorrhea the next go around. Same thing, I was referred back to start screen. Why offer the option in the drop down menu if you don’t actually have those programs? There’s two huge untapped groups of women who would greatly benefit from WildAI: postpartum and amenorrheic. From reading the reviews it seems like it’s been at least 2 years of complaining about this with no solution in sight.

Doesn’t Load Health App Data

It would be cool but even though it says it’s connected with apple health, it doesn’t load the years of data I have there and for months WildAI has said my cycle length is wrong and estimates I have a 60 something day cycle. The inaccuracy of it atm combined with the need to check in every day, the check in loads so slowly and the fact that the rest of my data which I’ve recording in the Flo app is “lost” if I switch apps is v much discourages me from switching apps. Make app switching possible. Data integration Is. So. Important. Not importing data from apple health is very irritating and inconsiderate.

Great idea, not so great implementation

I got WildAI because I saw it available as an Oura ring integration and it looked interesting. I was excited to see personalized recommendations based on my cycle and Oura data (sleep, workouts, temperature, etc.) but after downloading WildAI and getting everything set up, it seems that the integration doesn’t really work. Every day I still have to manually check in even though I get a notification that my check in has automatically been completed with my Oura data. It’s just not useful to have to manually input my sleep duration, RHR, and all of the data from every workout when that information is already available in the Oura app. Love the idea of WildAI but the implementation just isn’t there 😔

Plans have no details

I’m disappointed with the training plans on WildAI , specifically the perimenopause weight training plan. There is nothing specific to guide someone through weightlifting. Nothing specific about which muscle groups to train, reps ect. Just load up on carbs before and protein after training. Not sure what I’m paying for. Just something showing my “readiness score”. WildAI is a far cry from “Roar” and “Next Level”

Has potential but falls a little short for me

I used WildAI everyday for a couple of months, but despite some great features it just doesn’t work for me. I I like the cycle tracking and having a general idea how to support my training based on where I am at in my cycle. I don’t find the readiness score to be that accurate, I suspect that is because I have a physical job that varies from day to day and I don’t know how to take in account the physical strain of that along with my training. I also don’t need training plans or coaching as I am an experienced athlete. And finally, I am an Apple Health user and track my workouts there. My workouts no long sync with WildAI . There used to be a work around to “force” them to sync but that’s not working anymore. I find I don’t have the time or desire to enter my training manually into WildAI . I liked the cycle reports when they were free. I don’t mind paying for an app or certain features but the cost is too steep considering the plan includes coaching and plans—features I don’t need.

Would love timeline for when additional life stages will be available

The principals of training with your cycle was very useful for me pre-pregnancy, and I would love something to help with pregnancy and postpartum. I know they are working on these features, but it would be nice to know when they will be available.

Great idea but glitchy and not very customizable

I LOVE this idea of WildAI as a perimenopausal woman who has always been active. That being said- it’s tough to really log or customize your workouts; there are limited options to log it under if just entering it in and, if following one of their plans (which I was really excited about!) it won’t let you access the program if you’re training on a different day than it wants you to.
Also-the readiness score isn’t super accurate. For instance, 5 days out from my period, and I have logged high fatigue and low energy for three days straight. Today my readiness score is an 89 and it’s says “You’re ready to train hard today!” Haha, not even close.

A necessity for EVERY female athlete

I’ve only been using WildAI for a little over a week and I’m disappointed I didn’t find it sooner! I’m currently running, swimming, cycling, and strength training. I especially love the calendar showing which phases I’m in, my readiness level, the RHR trend, and etc. I can then apply this data to my future training depending on where I’m at in the cycle. I feel like I finally have control over my body and performance. What a great concept.

Great for menopause

Just started WildAI and this is the solution to how to work out for pre and post menopause! Night sweats have improved.
I have been loading on protein and or carbs and it even tells me that I am overworked so I need to slow down. I tried so many different methods like fasting and or exercising on an empty or full stomach. WildAI is great. Also highly recommend the book Roar…

Impressed On Day One!

BRAVO! What a wonderful tool! I just downloaded WildAI this morning and am completely intrigued and stoked! I’ve read every word on WildAI and found myself still wanting to learn more. Very much looking forward to the next month of tracking on this and will share it with every woman I know or see. Would love to see compatibility with the Oura Ring and perhaps My Fitness Pal where I currently track all my macros and activity but WildAI seems relatively new so perhaps in the future? Expecting great things with WildAI!

Game Changer

After reading ROAR by Dr. Stacy Sims and downloading WildAI , I’ll be honest I was a little skeptical about the whole training schedule… it’s not that I didn’t believe it’d work but I thought it was probably something for serious athletes not average people like me.

Well, one day I was rowing and no matter how hard I pushed I wasn’t seeing the power I wanted. Mid-stroke I had an ah-ha moment! The Wild. ai app had JUST told me that based on where I am in my cycle I should be doing endurance work and not intense workouts (I’m in peri menopause.)

I’ve now completed an entire cycle following the apps advice and my performance has never been better! I have my period right now, which would usually be when I take things easy but WildAI said it’s okay to go for high intensity and I was so strong on the rower I thought for a second my resistance was broken!

If you haven’t checks out the book and app I highly recommend it!!

PS- turns out maybe I AM a serious at home athlete 💪

Great app, life changing

It’s been so helpful to get feedback from WildAI about how to train and recover (I never believed I needed as much protein as recommended until I trialed actually increasing my protein-what a difference! I’m so buff now!) in regards to my hormonal cycle. How great that this information is available now!

This is the app I recommend the most

I have been using WildAI since the beginning. When I first got it it was still a test app. I have loved it from the start. It helps me track my menstrual cycle and my training all in one place. I love it because it is useful for the average woman who exercises up to the world class athlete. I work as a personal trainer and I love recommending WildAI to my clients, friends, and family. The feature of tracking training load is one of my favorites!

MUST HAVE FOR WOMEN

I have struggled with very severe psychological PMS symptoms for as long as I can remember. Since using WildAI I have been able to minimize them and understand better how I need to adjust my work/fitness to fit with my cycle! Thank you for creating this incredible option!

Incredibly useful

The information on how to best train and navigate fitness with my cycle is very useful! It would be great if I could sync my Apple Watch information also (unless I somehow missed this option)!
Highly recommend!

It’s all in the cycle…

Wild AI has validated the effects of shifting hormones for me and supported my love of (and the major importance of!) moving my body and honoring how needs change over the month. It’s an integral part of my morning routine between meditation and movement. Love it!

Amazing

WildAI is the most underrated menstrual tracking app. It learns your cycle and gives so much insight into medically-approved advice based on the phase you are in. By far my favorite menstrual app Ive ever downloaded and something I hope more people can find, especially women into fitness and training.

Logging out error

Absolutely love WildAI but recently it keeps logging me out of my account and I need to log in again.

Fabulous and easy to use

Excellent for people who are tracking their period to understand their physiology (not just because they want to get pregnant). In just one month I’ve noticed that my recovery time has sped up because of the advice for before and after training.
