I'm an emergency physician, as well as somebody diagnosed with idiopathic hypersomnia. I can't really function very well without medication, but due to the nature of my job, even with it I am often sleepy and naps help a great deal.
I've been using apps similar to this one for literally decades. I think this one still needs improvement, chiefly with regards to customization and mechanisms to ensure waking up. On the other hand, I bought the SilentMode PowerMask way back when during the IndieGoGo campaign and it's probably the most comfortable napping equipment I've ever owned.
I typically listen to guided meditations in the morning to kick off my day, but ever since downloading Breathonics, I’ve been using this a lot more.
It’s nice to switch it up and do breathing exercises rather than listening to guided meditations or using no audio at all. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll still continue to do those, but it’s nice to add some variety and challenge myself in a different way. After each session I’ve done, I always leave feeling more calm, grounded and focused which I think can be beneficial to anyone!
Only complaint right now is, and it can probably be fixed with an update, is that I sometimes can’t end the session and it doesn’t count towards my progress. Other than that, Breathonics is a great tool to add in your mental health toolbox. Thank you, this app 🙌🏼
I love breath work but I have a hard time being disciplined. Breathonics is great because it has 5min exercises with great information before you commit to it, like intensity and intention. Furthermore I’ve been using Breathonics for only 2 weeks and notice capacity of lungs increased significantly. When running I can breathe and have over all awareness of my breath more then before using. This changed my routine of doing a extreme exhausting 40 min breath work once a month to 5-10 mins every day. I love Breathonics & im excited to see what additional healthy habits curate from incorporating this work.
I’ve never really done specific breathwork, but after using a few 5 minute sessions, I definitely see (and feel) the value… I love the instruction and music used, super relaxing, and Ive found that using it even for 10-20 minutes in the middle of the day (I do it around 2pm) is hugely refreshing and gives me a lot more energy and a better perspective for the rest of the day. Also used it at night, and i have a much deeper sleep when I do (I also use Whoop as my fitness tracker and the hrv data improves when I use this app before bed!)
As a business owner of a property management company in multiple states I need to center myself before and during the work day. Breathonics allows me to be centered and present even if my day is running from meeting to meeting. I love the functionality and how on demand it can be. Used it today while working 15 hours and getting ready for a business trip even had a client doing it with me while he was contemplating a movie with his mother's health in question. You need Breathonics because it works!!!!
I started using Breathonics a few weeks ago, it has definitely improved my breathing, I love all the exercises, haven’t quite gotten them down 100% But constantly improving trying to reach close to perfection on a few. Please give it a try, believe me you won’t lose time, or effort. You are just breathing but in a right way Power up, power down. Either calm, or energize yourself Try it You will love it
Breathonics and breathing exercises have been very beneficial for me. I had issues sleeping so have been doing the exercises prior to going to bed. I have been sleeping much better and have more energy in the mornings. I also use the exercises during the day, not always using Breathonics but doing the breath work learned from Breathonics , and has helped with my daily stress/anxiety. Highly recommend.
What made Breathonics really stands out are the breathwork tracks! As a beginner to breathwork, I find the voice guidance to be very helpful. And the audio tracks are just wow... doesn’t feel like I’m doing a mindfulness practice at all. I just completed level 1, and currently really enjoying Power Up Tech Jump. I’m starting to build the habit of doing a Power Up session after lunch. Thank you this app team!
