Almost every ToDo app in 2020 can do everything from task creation to bending space time. Non of them however have such a simple and straight forward task creation model. I’m giving this a test drive for a few days but I’m already loving it. It’s subscription model will hopefully ensure it here tomorrow for development and support.

Most of the apps are for sharing with teams and they don’t allow for notes. NewTask allows me to keep track day by day!!

I love the ux but when I tap on a list I created it keeps shutting NewTask down. I’ll totally still use the free version but this would need to be addressed before I’d jump to the paid version.
The re- ordering of lists would be great too, like another reviewer mentioned.

Tried emailing. Didn’t work within NewTask . I’ve installed and uninstalled twice. Won’t load anything because it crashes. I lost my two lists that I had populated. Any update coming?
STILL CRASHING
Hello, I have patiently and optimistically tried to delete and reinstall NewTask. It still keeps crashing. I had just paid for the annual membership the week prior. This is a major disappointment. What else do I do? NewTask keeps crashing when I open it or try to create anything.

Initially liked NewTask - so much that I went to buy a premium subscription. The button for the $15 monthly premium just keeps sending me back to the lists page. The button for the $30 lifetime is the only one working & sending me to NewTask Store to pay. Not cool at all. No app that glitches out like that is worth $30.

Love NewTask. Can’t believe this hasn’t been done before. I never write reviews.

I love when apps do what they say and implement them nicely... I do wish that there was an option to change the color scheme though :( But I really love it overall!

Update 7/11/20:
After alerting the team to my disappearing lists, they worked to update NewTask several times, each time providing both better solutions for the problem, and a personally written update for me in my inbox. I’m super impressed with the dedication to delivering a high quality product, and great user customer service. I’m confident that New Task will serve as my go-to to do list moving forward. Thanks to Lino and team!!
Previous review: Twice in one day a full list of questions for our doctor has just disappeared. It was the only list with current content in it, so I would guess that any other tasks would have disappeared as well. There is nowhere to “recover recently deleted” or any indicator of where they’ve gone. I paid for a year of the premium and am super disappointed. I’ve switched back to notes for the time being.
Too bad, NewTask is beautiful, and a great replacement for Wunderlist, but disappearing tasks just isn’t going to work.
