Hi, I’ve been trying to use StreamlabsController for a few months now it’s gone through several updates and it still hasn’t worked I’ve gone through all the steps I’ve even uninstalled stream labs on both my PC and my phone it still doesn’t work please if anyone knows how to fix this tell me. whenever I try to connect it says connection error cannot connect I don’t know why I’m on the same Wi-Fi I’ve gone through all the steps and logged in on the same account on both anyone knows how to fix this please help me.

You were required to pay a ridiculous amount of money per month/year and become a Streamlabs prime member to use StreamlabsController, but not anymore!

They just updated it and went back to being free for everyone. Thanks for realizing your mistake, Streamlabs! The stream deck app is great!

I love StreamlabsController and have been using it for quite some time now, on both phone and an iPad. I haven’t had any issues until this last update. Now anytime I mute my microphone, I can’t unmute it without clicking it in OBS directly. The game I’ve been streaming won’t let me click out, which means minimizing the game just to mute my mic for two seconds. Ease of access to sound controls is the main reason I use StreamlabsController, so this basically makes it worthless to me until fixed. It’s good for screen transitions right now, but that’s the only other thing I use this for.

I know StreamlabsController has great things on it, the main reason I got it is because I can switch screens on my scenes and I have this animation pop up to switch them on the COMPUTER app but the Mobile app only has a button called “scenes” and it doesn’t show the each individual scenes so I can use transitions without pressing the windows button on my keyboard and the dreaded “looking for game” screen pops up, please fix this I would appreciate it, over all StreamlabsController had potential just not working for me right now, once it’s fixed I’ll 100% give it a 5 star.

From what I have tested, everything works regarding to switching to different scenes. But when it comes to muting and unmuting, or turning on and off sources there are some issues. You can hit the mute button, but when you press it again to unmute, it doesn’t go through, the only way the unmute will work is if you switch to a different scene and press to unmute. Same thing goes for turning a source visibility on or off.
Aside from this, switching scenes is smooth and settings are fairly simple.

What it used to be free now you need prime. Do you want to see your star going down?

When I try and connect it by scanning qr it says that I have an error and that my pc and phone aren’t on the same network l, but they are. When I try connecting it manually it It says that my pc and phone aren’t on the same wifi!

I first wrote a review about how it didn’t work anymore after they put the Streamlabs remote control behind a paywall. Then Streamlabs went around to every bad review and told them they “fixed” the issue. However it appears they just did that temporarily to get their ratings up and once they got what they wanted they put it back behind a paywall and now you have to pay for it AGAIN! This just proves that what everyone is saying about Steamlabs is true, this is a TERRIBLE Company with poor morals. Don’t support them!

I really have to give it to them, when they changed StreamlabsController to only work with a Prime Membership, many complained. And they listened! I have to say StreamlabsController has been invaluable in our live-streaming as a non-profit. Thank you!!

StreamlabsController used to work great. But now it suddenly won’t show my scenes anymore at all. I have tried everything, uninstalling, logging out, forums. Nothing has fixed the issue. It shows literally everything else, even the collection, but will not show the scenes within the collection. I even tried duplicating them all and it worked for just a few minutes and then they disappeared again.

It was really easy to use and it made my screaming a lot more better because I can play VR and read the chat and change the screen at any time I love it I should just mine and I’m giving it to five star

Replicates a stream deck on your iPhone or iPad. I use my iPad Pro and never have any issues switching scenes or starting my stream. It has been a big convenience for me.

Thank you to the developers for restoring free access to the application. Confirmed the remote feature works as it did before.

Was great before this sudden update. Now they want money even for the most basic functions. I’m just trying to have fun and not make money with streams. Why kill the joy?

Before the update StreamlabsController is definitely worth 5stars

I genuinely have no idea how this happened but StreamlabsController was working perfectly up until a few minuets into my first stream, suddenly all the scene options weren’t there as well as the audio adjusters. I tried to just go live without these and it wouldn’t even let me go live :,) I’m not sure if Im the only one with this issue but it was just heartbreaking to start my first stream that way

StreamlabsController is overall good, but I cannot connect my slobs on my computer to my phone. I’ve tried connecting using the manual and the qr connection, yes I’ve put them both on the same wifi and it doesn’t work. I just don’t know what to do.

Whenever I launch StreamlabsController , it just shows the startup for a second then the screen just goes white in StreamlabsController and doesn’t work. I’ve heard good things about StreamlabsController and want to use it but it just displays a white screen.

I want to use the themes but I have to join prime but when I try to join but when I click join it bring me to a white screen and nothing happens

So I got this off of google so I tried it it is so easy to stream I got popular kinda off this thank you for creating this

It does the job very well idk about the others having troubles with it but yeh it does the job🖤

I can only connect to streamlabs through the QR option. Which I have to redo every single time I open StreamlabsController . But StreamlabsController works correctly just need to be able to sign in

Mixer is unsupported even though it’s icon is listed on the bottom. Why even list it if it doesn’t work

No matter what I tried I couldn’t get StreamlabsController to connect to my computer, I might have done something wrong but I went through all the suggestions I could and it still didn’t work.

I’ve been trying to connect but I can’t it says that make sure you have the same WiFi I have it please help

The deck it’s self works but checking chat and anything other than the deck.

I got all my scenes imported and it deleted all my scenes

I got connected super easy and now I can mess with my settings super easily from anywhere. Not really so much a complaint as a recommendation though, when I hit go live on the remote it launches the notification bubble where I’m suppose name the stream, tag the game, etc. Great. Except it doesn’t launch the screen in StreamlabsController , it’s on my pc only. I would like to be able to launch my stream while I’m afk, while I’m finishing a few things, my starting soon screen can play. Then when I arrive, my stream will be going and I can launch into it just that much quicker. Also, a little more organization for the buttons would be great. Having the scenes organize them selves is great, but I could really use that for my templates and sound as well. Maybe a grid where we can freely place the buttons that use most, where ever we would like them? I don’t know, but it does what it says it does and I can’t complain about that.

When I first installed StreamlabsController I was hopeful that it would solve the connection issue I ran into before, but it didn’t at first. Then I clicked more info and it took me to a page that explained how it works and included tips on solving connection issues. It suggested allowing StreamlabsController on my PC to communicate over the firewall with a brief explanation of how to do that. With that help I got the issue fixed and it works great now!

Couldn’t connect to phone no matter what I change or switched. Not sure why this feature was moved to a different app. Completely useless. BTW I have everything updated and am only streaming to twitch. As well i have made sure my phone and pc were connected to the same wifi. If I have to go out of my way to try and set this up StreamlabsController is ultimately useless. Your suppose to try to make it easy not just possible. And if you can’t do that. Take it off the appstore.

I downloaded Streamlabs OBS on my PC so I can start streaming and I’ve set everything up through Mixer. I was really happy to find out about a remote app for my phone, so I don’t have to click out of my game in order to change scenes for example. But for some reason, even though there is a button on the remote to sign in using Mixer, “Unsupported Platform” pops up at the bottom and I can’t sign in. Why even have a Mixer button there in the first place? I really hope this is addressed soon.
