I would answer the questions after reading the modules and once I got to the amount of pineapples need for a gift card, I would purchase one. Unfortunately the only gift card that came was the first one for five dollars. The ones for 10 and 15 dollars I had to personally email the this app service and got the gift-cards after weeks of emails. They took awhile to get back and sometime did not answer. When I tried to redeem my 20 dollar gift card again I did not get the gift card in my email so I email this app service. I emailed multiple times back forth with days in between before they answered. Finally they stopped responding to my emails. I still have not received an explanation or my gift card from my work.

Can’t sign up because they don’t accept VOIP numbers. I have yet to encounter a learn and earn app that has this restriction. Some of us only have VOIP numbers. It’s not enough that you harvest all the other demographic information you require to sign up?

Developer response: You should not categorize all VOIP numbers as “fake numbers.” I use it for anything outside my family and friends I would rather not have companies harvest and sell my data. Your assurances are hollow after viewing your privacy page. It says right there that phone numbers may be collected. It also says information collected can be used for your “business partners,” “ determining your location,” “including to market our services.” When discussing WHO you may disclose information to, your privacy policy includes “affiliates,” and “business partners.”

THAT is exactly the reason I don’t give my real number to double speak apps like yours. I already get enough caller spam to last a lifetime, I don’t need another app selling my phone number.

I was loving Zogo until it had some problems. I had told my pre teens about it to encourage him to earn some gift cards for somethings things he wanted but now the reward system is really disappointing. You only get +5 points for getting a question right. Now it takes forever to even get close to a $5 gift card. Referral is only a 100 pineapples now which is .10 cents! I know you guys weren’t ready for Zogo to have such a huge turnaround, but reconsider tweeking the point and referral system again.

Developer response: “Hello, we partner with financial institutions to make financial literacy accessible for everyone. As as result, we had to focus on our commitments to local communities, which is why you may have experienced a change in the reward system. We’ve recently increased the number of points per question and referral that you earn (even if you’re not with one of our partnered financial institutions)! We’re continually trying to increase the number of communities that we swerve (so that people everywhere have a better experience)!

Ok thank you responding, but on your website it states this was made for kids how and you’re telling me that you’re supposed to be partnered with a certain credit union. You guys don’t state that in Zogo whatsoever or website. It’s overall confusing.

Update: the good thing about this app WAS the mini game points now they’ve lowered that too. Are you guys trying to loose users on purpose?

I love the idea of learning; however it seems this app continues to make bad changes with Zogo. It started with a Daily Challenge early in the day where you would be able to answer questions based on learning beginning at 6:00 p.m. Well, that wasn’t bad but a continuous bug made it impossible to use Zogo to do it at 6:00 p.m. Next, they changed this challenge to a “Party” at 10:00 p.m. This was good except when you have to work the next morning, this app doesn’t take precedence. More recently, Zogo started the party at 9:00 p.m. - the issue now is that this app doesn’t provide any information prior to the challenge questions, it goes right into asking timed questions! And it appears that you cannot earn large incentives of pineapples (or at least I haven’t). So, needless to say, I am growing more and more uncomfortable with Zogo. And I don’t think I will tell anyone to use it anymore. I’m giving it a few more weeks and if I continue having issues, I’m gone.

Zogo is great and it actually has redeemable gift cards. Other than that I do have a few problems with it. The first is the points, my sister has Zogo as well and recommended me to it and for some reason she earns around 300 pineapples per module while I earn 90 which is probably a glitch but still. Second thing is they keep logging me out of my account and the only way to log in is by phone number. You also cant use a phone number by app so. They should realize not everyone with a device has a phone number so it gets really annoying to have to get help from a friend or not be able to use Zogo in a whole. For my sister she has already earned $60 dollars within a week but i can barely make $15 because of the bugs and errors in Zogo such as freezing and errors. Please Zogo is great but can you please twitch a few things and also I sent a gmail a week ago and i haven’t gotten a response so please reach back to me.

In the beginning of using, it’s great way to learn financials. It’s a great way motivator to keep learning, however, I’ve hit stumbles along the way without an easy way to contact support. After restarting my phone, my issue is this, the “general questions” section is completely empty. Nothing!! White screen!! Not even drop down boxes have any info, questions, etc. I’m unsure what Zogo refers to as “the bubble game”. Since the topics are inside a “circular icon”, I’m assuming that’s what’s considered, the bubble game. lol. Seems my connection to “support “ thru Apple store doesn’t seem to show up. “Contact us”, will not allow me to fill in my email.
So, hence the 3 star rating. Was at “5 stars”, actually, until this simple “info and contact issues” cropped up.
I would love to continue using this, as it’s a great learning tool with good idea on motivation. Hope this can be fixed easily. Thanks.

I’ve had Zogo for 2 days now and I’ve already earned $5. I try to cash out but it says that I need a sponsor, which is understandable. I actually enjoy learning about the topics provided. The way the creators designed it makes it interesting and fun. The only problem is that I’ve seen multiple people say that they were never able to receive a sponsor, which worries me. One even saying that they’ve had Zogo for a month and still had no luck. Another saying that Zogo doesn’t pay out for new members. I will continue adding up my points and waiting. I know covid-19 may have some sort of play as to why it takes awhile to get sponsors. I currently have 25 in my area so I’m hoping I can get one very soon! If you only download Zogo to learn the topics then Zogo is great! But if you download this for the rewards then it may be awhile till you actually get any or if the reviews are right then you may never receive any at all, so please take that into account. Otherwise this is an amazing app and I will keep earning until a sponsor finds me. Hopefully the other reviews I’ve seen are false.

Hi I love Zogo and it is very educational and helps me learn. I find myself though losing motivation because the amount you need to earn to get a gift-card gets higher and higher. If you could make it so we could choose a 4K or 8k gift-card still or keep learning to get to the amount we need to I think it would make it easier and make me more motivated if I get rewards like that when I reach points such as right now I have to get to 20k points and have 4K if I could purchase a gift-card right now I think I would and start again it makes me more motivated to so if you could make something like that, that is my suggestion thank you for reading love your app!!

I’ve had Zogo for three days and already earned enough pineapples to cash out a $5 gift card. The modules are fun and easy to learn from. There are no ads; I’m really liking Zogo so far however, after earning enough pineapples to cash out my reward, I received a message saying “Before you can claim your gift card, we need to review your account. Come back in 47 hours or contact support for more help.” So, I’m a little concerned it may be a scam or I won’t be able to get the gift card, but I’ll update in a couple days. Seems promising so far but we will see!

In Zogo you basically get money for free... well not really money, gift cards, but still. This makes me think that it must be a scam. Even if it is a scam though, it doesn’t ask for your credit card information so you really have nothing to loose. I haven’t gotten enough pineapples to receive a gift card yet and I’m sure that when I do I won’t get the gift card anyway but whatever. The game is actually pretty fun and interesting and a good time filler for quarantine. If your having second thoughts about getting Zogo just get it anyways, it won’t cost you anything. I’ll edit this review once I’ve received enough pine apples to get a gift card so I can see if it’s a scam or not. Whatever, my only feedback for Zogo is that one time I got the answer right and it said I got it wrong and the correct answer was the one that I picked so... 🧐 that’s a bug that needs fixing. Oh well, overall good app.

While I do agree that it takes much longer than I would prefer to earn additional gift cards after the $5, I still like Zogo and use it. It’s a fun, educational way to earn a little extra money. My only suggestion would be to allow users to cash out at whatever amount they want for a gift card rather than having to try to earn increasingly difficult amounts. Overall, I still enjoy Zogo and look forward to the future of it as they seem to be really taking their feedback into consideration to better Zogo !! ☺️

I previously did a review letting you all know that I wasn’t getting my gift cards. Here’s an update:

I’ve been using this app for about 2 years now. I have learned quite a bit in the modules, and I’ve always held true to that. I had an issue where Zogo was constantly showing 0 gift cards available. After going back and forth with reps that were adamant on telling me that I should check at better times or that the bank was to blame, I decided to contact my local bank that was affiliated with this app.

The bank was so helpful and got me in touch with someone in charge at this app who fixed the issue. Now I’m back to 100% loving Zogo. Now, when I go in there, I no longer see 0 gift cards. I’m so glad they worked out the kinks. I do love this app.

Zogo is awesome pretty cool way to make money while learning about it. The payout isn't super fast to where they would go broke but its fast enough to not make you lose interest in Zogo . The only thing i would like some change on is you have 5 hearts and every time you get a quiz question or something wrong you lose a heart and this makes the time you actually get on Zogo kind of short. I get they cant give you a ton because its not a good idea for them money wise but i think it would be better if you could watch a video or something of that nature to get some back. Just a suggestion.

I tried Zogo a long time ago, and didn’t go back to it for a while. Maybe I just wasn’t interested in it at the time. Just a month ago, I got an email form it, which sparked my interest.

I have learned a lot about finance from Zogo. It’s taught me about insurance, income, etc.. Some things I already knew, and others I didn’t.

I like how Zogo is put together, whenever you complete a lesson you get experience that you unlock rewards and badges with. That gives you a sense of archive me to.

I like how they added advertisements in Zogo . The advertisements are part of the lessons, so it doesn’t feel like advertisers are trying to compete for your attention. They are taking turns, and doing a good job telling you what you need to know about there app.

We all know about literacy apps that make you pay for premium learning or more enhanced learning you don’t get with the “free version”. this app pays YOU for learning how to handle money better! 😁 I got upset when I ran out of hearts because I thought I would have to pay to receive more or wait for HOURS- but in fact, all you really have to do is cough up a meager 500 pineapples! ☺️ As a person with ADHD and other learning disorders that make it hard to focus and learn “complicated” topics like the ones this app covers, this app actually makes it really easy and fun to learn new things, and it sticks in my brain for when I need to use the things I learned in the real world! 💕💕 Definitely recommend for anyone trying to learn more about how to manage money, especially if you’re a lower income citizen. I literally have so much love for Zogo. Since my parents are strict with buying me cards. Until I noticed Zogo. But I wasn’t just doing this for the gift cards. I actually gained some knowledge learning this, and Zogo is amazing because they really reward you for learning, all tho they’re may be so apps that do the same but not always reward you for gift cards. this app is a really helpful app. I’d you downloaded this just for the gift cards, these can help you with your studies because they give you knowledge.

I’ve been using Zogo since about last July, so over 6 months, and I have about 25,000 pineapples saved up, which is Zogo ’s currency. I was saving them up so I could get one of the bigger gift cards they offered, but I checked today to see that they are completely out of any gift cards!! Not even any $5 ones, the only thing you can do with them is “donate to charity” which seems like a total joke. Not sure if they’re planning on getting more or what but it’s kind of frustrating that I spent this much time, didn’t learn that much to be honest, and now I can’t even redeem my points.

I used to be a head teller at a corporate bank that handled money for all branches in the Northern VA area decades ago. I remember being in the vault counting millions of dollars thinking people work a lifetime to have this nest egg. I only wish I’d taken advantage of the free education and training available in Finance upstairs. It is great getting a refresher course in all of this. My husband and I both have Roth and employer-sponsored/contributed & our individual IRA’s plus some change saved for the grandchildren’s education. I’m learning more than I originally knew and I used to be in banking and was an accountant Lol. Everyone can definitely learn something in Zogo, I know I have and I love the graphics, sounds and rewards (I sound worse than my grandkids) Lol.

I am a college student who’s about to graduate and there’s information in here that is new to me. Financial education and guidance on applying to college was almost nonexistent during my high school years, even though I lived in a relatively well-funded area. Zogo is concise and serves as a great starting point if you know little to nothing about these topics.

There’s been no technical issues so far. I don’t mind the points system or the limited hearts/lives. It might be annoying if you’re bad at multiple choice. The questions aren’t that difficult though! I got to the first reward after finishing 3 topics. It’s not a scam like some of these people are claiming before they even use Zogo lol

Even if you think you know it all, or know a lot I promise you that you’ll learn something by using Zogo. It challenges your knowledge on finances, financial security, planning for goals, 401K’s, types of retirement plans and social security just to name a few categories. Great even for a refresher on what you thought you knew as well. Fun challenges, holds your interest and great for short meaningful spurts of knowledge. Plus, you win pineapples for questions answer which can be used for gift cards! You can even challenge others on knowledge games. Fun and entertaining. It doesn’t matter your age or where you are in life to benefit from this. It won’t raise your anxiety score using it either. Just do it! It’s good for you! You have nothing to lose by giving it a go!

On this app, it’s pretty easy to get points by referring friends or learning. I’ve reached my goal to 5,000 points for the gift card, way past 5,000 actually, but I still cannot redeem the gift card because I have to “wait for a sponsor”. I’ve been waiting for a month or two now, and I still haven’t found a sponsor to redeem my gift card. I’m now loosing patience, starting to think that they won’t give me the gift card anyways. I still don't understand the whole sponsor thing or why we even have to find a sponsor. 1/5 until I actually receive a gift card.

I was so happy i found Zogo as it seemed like a great app to have fun and effortlessly earn gift cards. I referred my family and they loved it too. But then when i tried redeeming my card after racking up 5000 pineapples an error message pops up saying there are no sponsors on my area. I would like at least an estimated time frame to know when i could receive my reward.

Haven’t redeemed anything yet but it’s cool to gain points while learning about finances. One thing I don’t like is that you don’t know when your hearts are going to be regenerated so I generally have to wait a whole day to play and learn more. I wish we got more points as well as it feels like it’ll take some time to be able to redeem.

Edit: I ended up getting enough points but you can’t redeem until you have a sponsor. I’ve been waiting for a sponsor for over 2 months now...

So I am a student from a country in South-America trying to learn financial literacy at a young age. When I found Zogo I was thrilled. I could learn about this topic at my own pace and even get rewarded. But when I tried to enter my phone number, I kept receiving an error saying that I should input a valid number or try again later. I tried several times but without success and came to the conclusion that the country I live in is not supported. I would highly appreciate if this would be taken into consideration. Thanks.

Zogo is cool but l am disappointed because there is only apple gift card and more but the thing is that there is no PlayStation gift cards or Xbox they have target and other types of gift cards but no PlayStation please take the time to read my review and add PlayStation gift cards please that will be really appreciated.

I LOVE Zogo a lot, and I earned up to 6,300 pineapples, but then when I tried to claim my $5 iTunes gift card, an error message popped up saying I needed a sponsor and that they are trying really hard to find me one. I doubt that considering the fact it has been over a week. Once I’m able to claim my gift I’ll change my rating, not worthy of 5 stars though.

this app app is a pretty cool app to download on your phone. It pays you in pineapple 🍍points to learn more about finances (things that can help you become more knowledgeable about your spending habits) . Once you receive your first 5,000 pineapple points, you are rewarded a $5 gift card. I really like Zogo because it’s effortless, I’m learning more about finances & I’m being rewarded for it! Super easy & simple.

this app slaps. And I don’t use that term lightly. I have gone through most of it, and I can confidently say I am more prepared to enter the real world than I was before downloading. I’m a senior in college graduating soon and this app helped me figure some stuff out such as how 401ks work and other things that I was worried about so that I am more prepared for the “real world”

I love Zogo! It’s a great way to learn about financial skills and earn a little money. They also have incredible customer service. I emailed them once about a concern that I had and they responded within a day. Plus, it doesn’t take forever to earn money. It’s really a fantastic app.

I honestly didn’t believe it at first like — random people paying me to do little quizzes?? How could that be real right? I don’t know but it works! Just got a Starbucks today using the free gift card I got off this app and I’ve only spent a very small time on Zogo . It’s real! Get it!

I am a thirteen year old and I hate learning at school but Zogo literally makes you want to learn things and it is stuff they should be teaching in school but they don’t. I really do love Zogo, plus you get paid!
