My experience with this shuttle has been an absolute nightmare. It takes upwards of 3 hours to book sometimes, and when I finally do, the drivers do sketchy things and make me end up waiting another hour on top of it. It’s 3 AM, I’ve been studying for an exam for hours and just want to get home safely. My shuttle driver has been parked by some playground on Mission Hill “7 minutes away” for the last 30 minutes. This is not the first time this has happened with said driver so I know it’s not some extenuating circumstance.

It never works for the people who stay on the very edge of the 2 mile radius even if it fall under the 2 mil radius. Specially the JP people they will never get a red eye. You will die booking a red eye but you will never find one never. Literally in my 2 years you I’ve noticed if you stay under 1 mile radius or 1.2 you will get a red eye within 5 mins but Jamaica plain which is 1.8 or 1.9 boom you’re done bruh go alone the way you want. Worst feeling ever.

I don’t know why I’m paying fees for. This service these days is never available. As a person who lives a bit far, I rely on safely reaching my home late night from my shifts. I’ve had to use BlueBikes at 1:30 am on a cold night just because I couldn’t get a RedEye for over an hour and no other transportation was available.
RedEye algorithm at night should prioritize people living a bit far.
