1 year agoToday July 20, 2022 RENTAL AGREEMENT #326536615 When we picked up car and got home we started to load for trip and found they had not cleaned anything. We found crumbs everywhere plus French fries & empty plastic bottles under the seats. Considering what we paid for this 2 week trip the vehicle should have been cleaned & disinfected properly. So I immediately called the New Castle rental office to let them know that their cleaning crew never cleaned this vehicle. The person I spoke to didn't even care about what I had told him. Poor customer service. He had a I don't give a shit attitude. So, we cleaned t and vacuumed the car ourselves. We shouldn't have to do their job for them ! Now let's speed up to the day we dropped off the vehicle. First the rental person comes out to say we can't park close to the detail spot. We said we are returning rental car & should only be 5 minutes. Then he asked for the mileage & if we filled up the gas tank...we did. Conclusion On the prepared final paperwork we asked if there was any type of credit to offset their lack of responsibility. They should have given us a clean rental car ! Furthermore, we will never rent or recommend to friends & family about Payless rent a car ever again. Nancy Savage nsavage@redacted
