KinkLife: BDSM & Kinky Dating Reviews

I have had KinkLife for a total of 18 weeks. I am here to say that KinkLife is a waste of time for guys. I don’t understand apps these days. The support team on KinkLife does not delete the fake accounts when you have clear and present data in front of them.

On KinkLife, if you are a man, you have to pay in order to see who likes you. This price is higher than what Bumble and Tinder offer. You can’t message first unless you pay for a high premium that will only last you a week. The blocking feature is pitiful because when you block someone, it just makes it to where they can’t message you, but they still see your activity.

I was hoping to find the woman on KinkLife that would change my outlook on life positively. However, since I have talked with the fake vs real ones, it’s worse than any other dating app I have ever tried. KinkLife is nothing but a great waste of time, money and a good way to get you down.

KinkLife is entirely, literally almost entirely, fake profiles of women who speak in almost intangible English grammar that is clearly coming from a Pakistani or Indian national. Every profile that hits you up will respond in terrible English, and will likely be banned and “unavailable” within hours of first contact. Should you find yourself getting past app and onto a text platform like WhatsApp, their names and photos don’t match the ones you were just speaking to. The second they realize you aren’t going to purchase gift cards from target to show you’re love for them, they’ll block you (and probably hit you up in the morning again as some other spelling of the same name on a new profile).

Had KinkLife for 6 months and not a single real person, despite 5000+ matches.

It gets two stars because I’ve actually found connections on the site, but it doesn’t work well. The message system does not interact well with iOS.

KinkLife is designed to queue matches globally, and because of this poor design choice, catfish traffic is high because scammers are more likely to succeed. Local proximity match priority is a paid service. Peculiar, given that most of your matches tend to be local anyway, and mutual matches are frontloaded to your queue. Getting matches is not difficult, figuring out who is real also is not difficult (I’ve only ever seen one clever scammer, and I’ve seen many), but you get much more of the latter.

Downloaded this a couple days ago. Set up an account and a “date” and left it be. Went to check on it today and it had logged me out. I went to log back in with the saved log in info, and it says “this account doesn’t exist”. I assumed there was some problem, so I immediately went to my account email to check for contact. There was nothing. No email about anything, not even a notice of a removed account, let alone an explanation. Seems like it’s a big phishing scam. They have all my info and photos and I have no account or answers as to why. What a joke. And not a funny one.

KinkLife is ok, but main issue is when clicking on “view me” and “liked me” the number never goes away so the notifications just sit on your screen which gets annoying. Also never understand the blurring of photos of people that liked your profile like why not let us see it just not be able to interact so if we’re swiping around and see one that did like us we can swipe back, which would increase the amount of matches especially with so many bots on here

Decent platform, awesome that you have unlimited swipes. Location features are also next level for a dating app. KinkLife itself is great.

Unfortunately, the community just isn’t there yet. I paid $12 for a membership to unlock whoever was liking me/ looking at me, mostly no responses. From what I can tell there’s a heavy amount of bots on the site, if you’re a man, good luck. All the girls want is your money. It’s not a dating app, more of another sugar daddy type deal. If they’re not a con artist or a robot, then chances are they’re inactive. Good luck to you though! Hope you find what you’re looking for.

My account was deleted without me asking or my knowledge the day after sending feedback to say how annoying it is that the notifications do not go away, which made me turn them off in general and use KinkLife less. You are unable to view them unless you pay but are also unable to dismiss them. The websites contact support form does not even have a working submit button, I tried on multiple browsers (mobile & PC) I would NOT recommend KinkLife to anyone, seriously, try ANY other kink app. Waste of time and effort!! I feel bad for anyone who has spent money on this buggy cash grab.

Not really impressed with KinkLife at all. Unfortunately with the kink community there’s so much financially driven motives and that’s all Ive gotten from KinkLife. It’s mostly people asking me to be their sugar daddy or trying to get me to some other external site and then get banned the next day. There’s also too much functionality behind the paywall and not enough in front of it. Have had better experiences on Whiplr (similar issue with fakes and people expecting money but at least I can message)but nothing tops FetLife still.

I don’t know where all of the high reviews are coming from. 100% of the people I’ve spoken to on KinkLife are fakes, scammers, or findoms. Every single woman I spoke to asked for money at some point. There are countless profiles that are people using photos stolen from real prodommes’ social media. Some of which I know personally and verified that they don’t use KinkLife. The moderators of this site will argue with you over whether not these dommes use this sorry app so they obviously don’t care about you getting scammed as long as people are paying for their app...

It’s nice that KinkLife is free and it looks easy to use but the truth is you can’t really do much on here unless you pay to upgrade your account ... you can’t message people first unless you have a premium account! If you want to meet anyone you better hope they have the VIP Subscription so they can message you ...

Other than that I guess it seems like it would be a decent app if you’re willing to pay. Just not what I’m looking for so if you’re like me and you don’t want to worry about that then this isn’t KinkLife for you.

I have never met any problem with this bdsm app. I downloaded it from App Store accidentally. Then I signed up for a new account, filled out some information about myself and start to meet new friends on KinkLife. I can tell you that so many kinky people are here waiting for your coming.

If you expect to find someone here as a guy, it’s nearly impossible. During my time on KinkLife, I was messaged by 4 different “women” with the same message setup and they were obviously fake accounts.
This site needs to take some steps for serious improvement on verification to KinkLife. Also, would it kill them if they allowed people to narrow down their search by kink preferences? Just a suggestion that they should add!

All I’ve seen on here are scam profiles trying to get your money. Refusing to do any sort of contact unless you pay them. That’s not what KinkLife should be for. Reporting them does nothing because they simply remake their account. I’ve seen six different accounts with the same name, pictures and everything, yet no amount of reporting seems to do anything. Waste of time and waste of money for VIP. I am extremely disappointed with my VIP purchase.

KinkLife provides many contacts. Will see how real they are. The messaging is still glitchy with only short one line texting allowed. There are also mixed messaging at times.
Developer response is good but not able to fix these issues.

I’ve used several niche dating apps like this, and this is probably one of the most fake profile ridden apps out there. In addition to that, even when you pay for the services to see who likes you, they are no where near you, you can’t actually filter by location, or it says you can but it doesn’t actually change anything.

I ignored the other negative reviews and totally paid the price.
KinkLife is nothing but Spam/Scam - the profiles that appear only last a day before they are flagged.
Plus, a lot of KinkLife mechanics/functionality are terrible: you can’t see past the first line of text. Your profile can’t save other profiles (“Favorites”) you can’t attach images in the text field, etc etc etc.

The new version of this app looks much better than before, all bugs I reported have been fixed. Good work, guys. But you should add role for KinkLife , like master, mistress, slave, etc.. after all, this is a bdsm dating app, it will be more convenient for us to find matches we like.
