I'm a domme and attempted to use this site and I'm just gonna tell you right now. Don't waste your time. Most of the people on KinkD are fake or have no idea about kink. To top it off, the people that run it obviously have no idea what kink is about and will approve every single thing you post before it goes live for everyone else to see. There's not a way you can search the dommes from the subs and they don't acknowledge that there are even other titles out there. I made a profile and was suspended in less than 24 hours when they actually approved everything I put on my profile. I made another profile since their support team wouldn't get back to me. This time thinking I was following the ridiculous rules they've laid out, I was not getting any hits. Imagine this, they had never approved it. You're not allowed to advertise yourself or put your other links. So again I was deleted with no explanation. They also make you pay a monthly fee for his garbage to see all of your notifications. In a nutshell, this site is a joke and the people who run it are even more of a joke. Not a place for true BDSM.

Terrible to find other people on. Other people’s peoples are kind of a newsgroups style list with small picture icons.

Won’t let you update gender marker.

Can’t search in particular areas. Have to update your area and then try to search around you from there.
Changing nickname costs their monthly fee.
It blocks pictures when you try to upload them most times. I never tried to upload a nude or risqué pic, but the detection kept blocking pics. It blocked a pic of me in a long shirt/dress with pants on under it. With sleeves on the shirt, and a tight enough neck that not even collarbone was showing. It was not form-fitting tight or anything. Just like a regular long shirt. Pose was sitting in a chair (actually at desk at work against a plain white wall.) but it was deleted for being nude when I tried to upload it. This was the case with several pictures. Detection is horrible.
I tried to mention it in my profile. Can’t even use the word “nude” in profile, in an app that is supposedly about Kink.
Other things for profile are awful. Very bad/ limiting choices for types of people you are interested in, or gender markers and just interests in general. Just a short checklist for interests for vanilla lifestyle things.
Have to manually update age. Not automatically calculated.
Pics of pets? Nope. That’s “lewd and profane.”
Completely dressed with several layers of clothes? Nope. That’s too “nude.”

Don’t waste your time setting up a profile and trying to message in KinkD!!!
It tricks you into investing time and then wastes your time, so don’t use KinkD!

I downloaded KinkD , wrote my profile, added pictures, started searching, found some profiles I liked and spent some time to write out individual thoughtful original responses and messages… Collectively meaning that I spent a decent amount of time as an investment to get started. The next day, I see that my messages were still pending and had not gone out. I clicked to resend one, it went out, clicked on another one, and I learned the hard way that I had to “upgrade to enjoy more privileges”
So, app developer, you’re telling me that I can only send one message per day and the basic version?
I spent or, rather wasted, my time in order to draft and send messages.

This is bad form, allowing users to create messages and send them, only to later get a error message that their Notes don’t go out to other users.

There’s not that many people that are of even remotely decent quality that use KinkD anyway, on the female side.

Dear app developer: Not only did you just waste my time, you TRICKED me into believing KinkD with something that it wasn’t and having me throw away my time, which is far worse. You deserve less than one star I was forced to give.

I honestly hate KinkD now. I liked it alright when it first came out, but I made the grave error of updating it a couple of months ago and now KinkD is absolute trash and crashes constantly and not a single one of my messages comes through or goes through. No matter what I do to re-login or re-download or re-stabilize. Never mind that my completely vanilla pics (some of which my 67 year-old neighbor took of me so, you know, not particularly scandalous or provocative) and written bio go missing all the time for no apparent reason without explanation. I know and understand that overtly sexy or sexual pictures are prohibited (and I understand the reason why), so I don’t post things like that, but it doesn’t matter. This garbage app is garbage.

Oh man... I was really optimistic about KinkD but it kept getting worse the more I used it.

My biggest peeve was them continually removing my profile pictures. They were selfies I took while in cute dresses. Not even super low cut. They were, in fact, photos I had on my personal Facebook where my FAMILY is. If they want women to dress in turtlenecks and pants... is it REALLY kink friendly.

As if that alone wasn’t enough to make me delete KinkD , you have to subscribe to their expensive premium to send unlimited messages. You can’t specifically search bdsm roles on the user search feature. You can’t even say the word nude on your profile without them bleeping it or potentially shutting down your account. WORST kink app I’ve ever experienced!

Downloaded KinkD and created a profile, and was quickly made aware that KinkD has ZERO functionality without upgrading to a paid subscription. My interest was piqued so I went for it and got the 3 month sub. I was immediately DISAPPOINTED.

The advanced search features you unlock as a paid member are a joke. You can ONLY search by role. You can’t search by location or race. You can’t see which members are active members, when they last logged in, or whether they are premium members or free member.

My search results show literally only 100 members in the ENTIRETY of Georgia, and that’s having ALL the roles checked. The limitations on that kind of result are ludicrous. I just spent $36 to find a TINY handful of women across all of my state, none of which are even within driving distance. I sent 13 messages, probably 10 of which aren’t even active members, and he other three will likely never respond.

KinkD needs a LOT of work before it can consider itself a reputable source for BDSM connections. Hands down one star only.

Give us functionality, give us an actual DATING app. -_- Waste of money.

I have only been on KinkD for a week. I payed for a month to talk to people, got a few replies, then suddenly got myself suspended for no given reason, just breaking the rules. I contacted them like they asked in the pop up error from KinkD , and it’s been close to a week and I still haven’t heard back from their support.
I checked the rules and of all the things that occurred, I hadn’t seen anything that would apply to me, or at least wasn’t explained clearly enough in the rules to know it applied to me.
Basically, unless you’re CERTAIN you have a face that wouldn’t instigate anyone reporting you for little, then don’t bother. KinkD likely won’t stay for more than a few years.

I have been using KinkD for awhile now and recently just met some really interesting people however; I can’t even log in. At first I was using KinkD just fine and then it wasn’t loading my profile or anyone else. It brought up my messages but if I sent one through it didn’t go through. It told me that It couldn’t connect. I turned off my WiFi and turned it back on but that did absolutely nothing. Altering doing that a few more times I turned off my phone and turned it back. I was now logged out of KinkD . I go to log back in and it tells me “Hmmm! Something is wrong! please try again later.” I don’t know what the issue is and so just want to talk to the people I was talking with.

I've had KinkD twice now (my first account got suspended and I never got a response as to why) - I don't post photos in lingerie, the closest thing to that was in a well covered sports bra, high waisted workout leggings, and hiking boots. In my bio I also feel like I have to walk on eggshells to express what I want and am looking for in a partner in hopes of not getting my account suspended again. This makes it difficult for potential partners to filter out if we could be a good match or not. Also, sending and receiving messages is a struggle as KinkD is super buggy. I think that KinkD has some potential, but I strongly feel that women are getting flagged a hell of a lot more than men are.

If you're looking to freely post your photos and talk about your role, try FetLife on the computer. If you're looking to meet likeminded individuals or couples and also have more room to express (no overly suggestive photos tho), try Feeld. I'll be there instead 🤙

First, this has great potential but be ready to shell out some $$. The description is very forthcoming about there being a subscription but it also says free to join. And joining is really all that is free. I can’t send a message unless I pay. Yes, I can reply but that does me little good if no one messages me. I guess if you are the passive kind of person that prefers to wait to be approached then this is great. If you are an extrovert then open your wallet.

To the Developer: The subscription is a bit high for me particularly not knowing if it would be worth it. Maybe take a cue from other, similar apps and give trials (iTunes allows for this). Or limit the number of messages for free users. You might get more paid users if they got a chance to really check you out.

So...sadly I must delete. I don’t have a place on my home screen for an app that would get virtually no use.

Overall KinkD is stable and performs well. Location can cause an appreciable drop in user ship.

I have had issues with premium subscription. I used to have a premium account, and decided to take what I thought was a permanent break from KinkD , and I deleted the account and app from my device. I reinstalled and generated a new account. Upon trying to re-up premium (although I still have a week and a half on the subscription) apple says that it's already purchased and won't bill until the subscription expires. KinkD however refuses to acknowledge the premium, even after attempt to repurchase and to restore purchases. I contacted support, and received a relatively timely response, but then after a quick response, they have yet to return contact within the past 8 hours.

Edit: I did receive help. Apparently help starts getting serviced about midnight my time. They had to reactivate my old account however, and the premium would not translate to the new account.

I started on KinkD not too long ago and I think I prefer this over the others. They are never free of course. I just have the free version now. There are still ways to find and contact people though. And can’t truly blame KinkD for this but there are some fakes and creeps. That’s just how the world is, but it’s pretty easy to tell once you start messaging them. And I have found plenty of respectable people on here. Some people I message just to learn things from them and they always reply.

I really like KinkD so far. I used Tinder for almost two months with zero results. Using the same photos and a more open bio I've gotten several matches on this app so far in a week. A few that I like, and some too long distance since I don't want a long distance relationship. I feel more free to be myself on KinkD. It gives you a lot more functionality in the free version than Tinder. Just an overall better app that has a few small problems I think with profile setup but definitely easy to fix going forward. I recommend KinkD for anyone giving up on Tinder or anyone who hasn't used that before. Lots of the same basic controls. Easy to figure out if you haven't used It before.

My biggest problem so far which might be fixed by the time you read this: The 'looking for' and 'my role' section on one's own profile should both have scroll wheels. Lots of users input what they're looking for under 'my role' by mistake.

I was in KinkD for 6 days. In those 6 days I was approached by 5 men all telling me versions of the same story: my profile pic attracted them, their wife and/or child died tragically, they’re extremely lonely, & they’ll be my sugar daddy ($400/week)...I just need to give them my bank info.

When I attempted to get a refund (yeah...you can’t do squat on KinkD without paying), I received 1) a repeated answer to a previously resolved issue and 2) incorrect instructions for asking for a refund.

Don’t waste your money or time.

Made some great connections. No this is not an app generated review. You still have to communicate like a gentleman to get there. I just wish women would put real, current, and un-photoshopped photos. I've met so many women that didn't even come close to what their photos looked like. Seriously people, do you think we're going to ignore the 15 years and 50 pounds and then you'll win us over with your great personalities. Be real. But this is no different than any other app...people are people.
