Please for the love of moon cycles everywhere, please fix this bug.

Could you please fix the glitch that doesn’t recalculate cycle length?

The cycle tracker is way off. And even though the last four cycles have begun at the same interval of time, it’s still off by a week due to a fluke cycle that began early. And every cycle before the fluke also began at the same interval of time as the cycles after the fluke. I thought that after a few cycles it would recalculate to accurately reflect what the new data is showing, but it hasn’t and I don’t think it ever will.

I really like Euki, but the fact that it’s an entire week off makes it unusable for me. If I can’t track my cycle accurately, then why would I continue to use Euki? Please for the love of moon cycles everywhere, please fix this bug. I don’t want to have to find yet another app after fleeing from clue.

Thank you!

Lost data

My data disappeared also - and since the whole point of Euki is that the data is only stored locally, I assume it’s not recoverable. I don’t really see any point in starting over in case this happens again, so I too will be returning to a paper calendar.

Please read: Critical flaw

this app: We love you because our health data is important to us. That’s why we track it. And why we value its privacy.

For that reason, it’s upsetting to learn that, when users update their phones, years of this app data gets lost. Without warning we discover: this app does not allow us to port our personal information to our new hardware.

What good is data security if it’s so tight that users can’t keep/access their own information? At the very least, this app should do the ethical thing: warn users upfront that they cannot keep their data when they move to a new phone.

Losing this data wouldn’t matter so much to me if I were tracking periods month-to-month in my twenties. But older women like me need to keep our data over time so we can track things like the onset of peri/menopause. Please don’t discriminate against us — everyone else already does :(.

Too many glitches

Since the new update, all of my previous saved data has changed. My bleeding log is wrong and when I go in to correct it, Euki crashes. It also added the shot to my birth control log every time I have something else logged and the calendar is too clunky to navigate through and correct. Each time I log or change something from a past month, Euki automatically scrolls back to the current month so it’s very tedious to keep scrolling back to correct anything that’s wrong. Even with the great privacy, I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone until they fix these significant issues. It’s a shame because I really loved and relied on Euki prior to this.

Everything is gone

I've been using Euki for years now. Just opened Euki to record something and everything was gone. Never deleted Euki . Lost all my tracked info with no warning. Will be deleting.

Unfortunately lots of room for improvement

Euki seemed great when I first started using it. It had a fairly elegant design and plenty of options for symptoms, equipment, and procedures to track that relate to menstrual and sexual health. Unfortunately, I experienced the same problems as other reviewers: random events or products being tracked when I hadn’t entered them myself. A “contraceptive shot” tracker was added to every day on which I’d logged something, and the number and kind of product used was altered as well. This glitch combined with how finicky it is to tap through and edit your calendar makes deleting and adjusting the log almost impossible, and if I can’t rely on the information I enter into Euki to remain accurate, then what’s the point? Privacy is great, privacy is important, privacy is essential—but so is accuracy, and one without the other is useless. At this point in time the glitches make Euki useless.

Never Logged That

this app is not the best formatted period tracker, as logging symptoms and events can be annoying to scroll through the pages of options I don’t need. However, I put up with it because I prioritize privacy.

What I’m not going to let slide is how my app magically decided I’ve been getting contraceptive shots. At first I thought it only happened a few times, but then I gave up undoing it because it looks like every day I’ve ever logged something, it added in a contraceptive.

Having to scroll through their clunky interface over and over again to undo their mistake is not a user-friendly experience. I want privacy, but not at the cost of actual functionality.

Adding items I never logged

I used Euki to track my period. Just wanted something simple and private and Euki worked well….Until it updated and added several items I didn’t use (contraceptive shot, reusable pads; menstrual cups etc) to EVERY single day I’ve logged something. There isn’t an easy way to remove all these items and sometimes when you attempt to, Euki just glitches and closes out. I shouldn’t have to worry about updates making an app worse.

Nice app, but my data disappeared.

I liked using Euki , but all my data disappeared overnight for no apparent reason. I’d never set up a PIN or a self-destruct. Just gone. Thanks a lot, chumps. Back to pen and paper. Do you guys make a good disappearing ink I should be using?

Glitchy, but better than the alternatives

I'm sticking with this app because of the data privacy -- but it's weird. Only this app decides when my cycle "starts," and thereby starts me on Day 1 of a new cycle. And it makes super-weird decisions. As a result, I end up with a 98-day "cycle" in which I happened to have had my period three times. (Why did it eventually finish the extra-long "cycle" and start me over finally? Who knows??) Basically I have to do all the calculations manually to anticipate when it might start up again, same as if I just annotated my normal calendar, which is not what I want in terms of functionality. But I don't really want to track this on my normal calendar, so: here I stay.

Cant remove accidentally checked items

Euki is good so far. Its very simple so its easy to navigate. I accidentally clicked a product uses that i didnt use though and couldn’t uncheck it. I kept clicking it and now it says x10 use for a product not used so thats a bummer. Overall good app though.

Privacy and Inclusion vs Customization

I love many things about this app. The effort put into inclusion is amazing, as is the commitment to privacy. However, I wish that I could customize a few things about Euki . The limited selection of emotions and physical symptoms are often frustrating to me, as they leave out or do not provide enough nuance about some of my most common symptoms. Also, I wish I could set the calendar to be the default page when Euki opens. The educational info is great, and I’m so glad it’s there—but most of the time I’m opening Euki to track, not to browse info.

I’d still recommend it, and I hope that in time some of these features will improve.

Random entry glitch?

Been using this app for a few years and it’s been okay, albeit with occasional glitches where certain things won’t work correctly on certain days - but today I discovered I suddenly have all these random entries indicating I’d had contraceptive shots - on completely random days. A lot of them. I’ve never had a contraceptive shot in my life, so this is obviously a glitch.

Stores data in iCloud despite claims of local only

Euki claims to not store your data in the cloud, but if you use iCloud backup (which most people do as it is the default) then your data from Euki is on Apple servers.

New update causing problems

Longtime user and fan but the new update means Euki crashes for me every time I try to open it!

Great app

I'm so glad Euki offers more privacy than others; however, it's lacking in the amount of items to track. Many other apps have options like insomnia, diarrhea/constipation, perineum pain, type of protection used during sexual activity, etc. I would appreciate if the developers could add a more comprehensive list of tracked items.

(P.S. Please excuse me if any of this is rambling; it's quite late as I'm writing this.)

Minor Issue otherwise great

I just got this to start tracking my period, which had just ended. I didn't use period apps before because I was inconsistent and somewhat got worried about information selling, but this app doesn't tie my personal information to the records in app so this is nice. So far very informative, lots of options for help and tracking. The option for putting in 0000 as the pin to display a fake screen doesn't work though, for me at least. Whenever I set my pin, then close Euki to test the 0000 thing, it just says its the wrong pin number. Of course it is, but I thought it would display the fake screen? I was simply testing it out, I don't ever see myself needing to use that feature, but for those who might I hope it gets fixed. Good job to the creators for making a helpful and private app for women!

great but new bugs?

ive been using this app for at least half a year now and its great, but with the new update theres some issues. all my past logs suddenly say ive taken contraceptive shots, when ive never logged that. theres not even a section for contraception shots when i look at it. every time i try to click on bleeding in my past logs Euki crashes too and a lot of the icons are swapped

Update has messed with data

I love Euki! That said, I just installed the new update and it's added false data to every existing entry saying I used a birth control shot. Bit of a confusing bummer since every time you edit one entry it jumps you back to the presenr upon save.

Good app! But…

Love Euki, the art is super cute and the privacy aspect is amazing. My only complaint is that it dosent have the Depo shot as a birth control method and dosent take the hormonal changes that coming off the shot causes into consideration. I started using Euki when I stopped taking the shot for fertility tracking and was disappointed that it didn’t include ANY information on the shot at all.

Add a feature to add tracking symptoms

Yay! Safe app to track!! I used to use clue and liked most of its set up visually which is important to me. Euki looks slightly similar (calendar view!) I loved the circle view on clue though.

But I track pmdd symptoms as well as diet symptoms and more, and I’d like a feature to manually add my own tracking categories. Notes is not sufficient. Plz add!!!!

Excellent reproductive health resource

This is a great tool with TONS of great easy-to-follow info on sexuality, menstruation, contraception, pregnancy, abortion, and more. I like the calendar feature - functional and clear without being excessively cutesy like so many period/pregnancy trackers. The privacy settings are particularly appreciated - no one is mining your data here, only you can see how you use Euki . A fantastic resource!

Amazing and about time!

It’s about time we get an app with accurate and much needed information in regards to reproductive health right at our fingertips! The abortion stories are a nice touch for people who may be needing to relate and not feel so isolated. So much useful information that people don’t have to google. The privacy feature is a big plus and is going to be useful for many. Thank you for Euki.

Meeting a critical need!

Euki provides a critical resources for so many people who desperately need –and deserve – access to them. Interface is easy to use and Euki itself is simple to keep up with. Helpful for all genders, ages and backgrounds.

The best period tracker!

Simple to use and I never have to worry about my privacy with this app. There’s no back end which means my data deletes if Euki does, but it’s worth it considering today’s political climate. They also have summary statistics so I have a good idea of when my period is coming next, and there’s a bunch of other health options to track too.

Functional, customizable, smart, beautiful, and inclusive

I love that Euki takes my privacy seriously. It lets me pick what I want to see on the Home Screen, and provides great information on so many important topics. I love that it lets me track my cycle even when it’s irregular!

Great resource!

First off, I think the this app app is super user friendly and visually appealing. More importantly, there is a lot of useful information that is conveniently in one spot!

Finally!

I have searched so long for an app with a period tracker that doesn’t sell my data. And as a bonus, this app has an extensive library of information on all kinds of reproductive issues, delivered in a clear, non-judgmental way! The library of info is SO useful! Euki ’s art is beautiful, and I appreciate the nuance with which I can track things (ie. when tracking sexual activity I can track protected from STIs and protected from pregnancy which is a meaningful distinction since I have an IUD!)

Fantastic!

A fantastic app that has health information that’s actually accurate and not some weird propaganda. Plus a period tracker that doesn’t sell your data! Definitely recommend.

Great App

I was looking for a period tracking app but got something better. Love the diversity in this. Good for self reflections and logging in your emotions

Awesome app!

this app is such a great app!! The graphics are so cute and informative. I really like the emotion tracker and the full calendar view. Also love how informative and thorough the info tab is!! Such a great app providing data secure period tracking to so many !!

Great replacement for Clue app

Thank you for caring about privacy and user experience. I switched to this app after years of using Clue to track my cycles. Clue ruined their app in December 2022, and I don't believe they care about anything but money now. this app is a much closer fit for my values, especially in the US today. Thank you, this app!

Perfect App

this app is more than a period-tracker. It has a variety of RELIABLE information about reproductive and sexual health. this app is non-judgmental and all around neutral. this app does not make any assumptions about your sex, gender, or sexual orientation. My favorite part about this app is that is makes privacy a TOP priority! this app does not store or share your data, PERIOD! You can also protect Euki with a password and disguise Euki in your phone by having a fake password that pulls up a fake screen. If you are looking for a period tracker that is completely private, safe, and secure, get this app!

NO DATA MINING! amazing!

I’m so glad to finally! FINALLY. See an app that won’t sell my fricken period data. Thank you WHW

Perfect!

One of the best, most empowering apps I’ve used. Love the language, the illustrations, and the ease of use.

Amazing and much needed resource

Euki is a great resource and I’m so happy it exists. I’m sharing it with everyone I know.

THIS is the app you need for repro/sexual health questions

Unlike apps that store/sell your data or have creepy anti-choice conservative funders, this app is informative, unbiased, creative, and thorough.

The most secure/discrete period tracking app I’ve used

I’ve used a few different period tracking apps, and this app by far feels like the most secure and discrete one, which I appreciative. this app’s sexual and reproductive health informational resources also seem incredibly well-research, which I appreciate even if I find I don’t typically utilize or go to the resources section of Euki .
