ORG 24: Your Music Reviews

As a pro musician I’ve used lots of keyboard synths including auto accompaniment models from Yamaha, KORG, Roland etc. This software appears to have lots of potential but is poorly executed. As you play chords to trigger the background tracks the correct chord symbol appears on screen but the sound is completely off. You play a major chord, you hear a minor chord or something that’s totally unrelated and garbled, forget 7th chords, the creators must have never heard of them. It’s useless.
I downloaded various “sets” including those labeled as KORG PA sounds and sets. They sound horrible. I can’t imaging KORG actually sanctioning those. Sorry I wasted my time and money and on this garbage.

App is trash and does not function properly. Clicking or ear piercing screeching . Purchased sounds don’t load or just make a click sound. GIVE ME BACK MY MONEY

Just letting you know that all synthesizer apps work fine connecting to Bluetooth. This morning is one, I get nothing. You may want to put a blue connect button on the keyboard area, makes it much easier to connect to Bluetooth. I too paid the extra cash to open everything. I will give you five stars when Bluetooth connectivity works

I am not sure how people are rating an app giving it 5 stars when a basic crucial function like connecting a physical keyboard doesn't work! Well my Korg microKey air works amazing with zero latency on garage band any many other iOS synth apps using 5th generation iPad and iOS 13. org 2020 has too much latency. The latency makes it unusable. Moreover, Bluetooth midi when it works it is of course worst. Expect to turn on/off your iPad and keyboard several times for Bluetooth midi to work, but then once you touch the iPad screen ORG24 will freeze.

As for the Set's quality, I purchased Arabic set, and downloaded many other sets from the website, and many are horrible. Dance set for example, the chords and the base are the same through the whole styles. It makes the music very annoying and boring.

ORG24 is a great concept, but there is something wrong. The sounds don't sound like a real keyboard. A $50 Casio would do a better job in style sounds nowadays. I am talking about the sounds that generate the chords and the base etc.

Unfortunately I can't find any alternatives in ORG24 Store. ORG24 is really unique and could be a really awesome app if the quality is improved and of course if usb midi and Bluetooth midi are fixed.

When I connect to my Ipad and pressing usb midi the massages apear no device found but the same device connecting to my iPhone working verey good (irig keys 2)

This is the best arranger keyboard, but the piano keys are hard to play. I wish the developer can Build the chromatic accordion c system key board skin so we can play this as a real instrument…all accordionists will appreciate.

1. Will this work with my old Korg X5D?
2. Will this work with my M-Audio Oxygen 49 Keyboard Controller?

This is a great app with so many downloadable presets, and they’re all free. I’m pretty amazed with how much you get for free, more patches and options than I’ve seen for any free synth iOS app. Really awesome, unless you’re using it for MIDI-out (which you should just get a devoted MIDI-out controller app that’ll be more light and fast)

Really a great app to have on the iPad, with massive musical possibilities, however...the USB MIDI function does not work whatsoever! I purchased the VIP all-inclusive IAP that supposedly includes MIDI capability...and it doesn’t work with my new MIDI keyboard controller that works just fine with all my numerous other synth apps. After clicking on ORG24 ’s USB MIDI button, ORG24 just shuts down. Hope this is fixed in the not-to-distant future as MIDI keyboard control is crucial for using ORG24!
