GTECards quite literally doesn't work anymore. ive downloaded and reinstalled but anytime i click it (im already logged in by the way) all it says is "Your Financial Institution server could not be reached. Please check your network connection and try again." my connection is PERFECTLY fine. no matter where i open GTECards it has me hard stuck on this page. i can still make payments and get notifications of when monthly payments go through but i literally cant access ANYTHING on GTECards past that page. it doesn't let me exit out of it, log in/out, click settings or anything at all. just a blank white page with text and its been broken for over 2-3 months now. incredibly irritating and inconvenient. you'd expect card companies to care a bit more about things like this

GTECards is so frustrating. When entering my credit card from GTE, everything linked fine. When trying to link my debit card, I’m repeatedly told my address doesn’t match and get locked out of GTECards for a half an hour.

As a 9 year member of GTE, I’m disappointed at their lack of decent mobile rollouts. All of their apps look like they were built quickly, cheaply, and have an array of bugs. The service standard at any physical location is way higher and much more enjoyable.

GTECards has potential, but as of now it’s almost completely useless.

Exactly what the title says. The setup process is overly complicated and cumbersome, and repeatedly tells me my address doesn’t match records. It locked me out of the setup process for a half hour, so I deleted GTECards .

Useless.

GTECards worked in past, but lately not able to connect to server

There is a length limit on the address box so I can’t even verify my address to enter a card. I’m sure GTECards works great but I can’t even sign up because of this

My card is locked when logging in it’s prompting me to add new card and not letting me unlock please fix so I can unlock my card I will not use GTECards again

Can’t verify address, doesn’t scan card, says entered info wrong too many times. Everything is exactly as appears on account. Submitted 1 time. Says have to wait 30 minutes before trying again.

I get told that the address I’m entering is incorrect and then it locks me out. Removed GTECards afterward.

Checked with my online account and through the other app, the address was correct. Unsure where to go from here. Can’t really give GTECards much credit.

As of resent when you lunch GTECards it either takes forever to open or doesn’t open at all. If have to constantly open and close GTECards before it will allow you to login with Face ID.

Most recent update is trash.. the layout is terrible and you can no longer check your balance so now I gotta open a whole other app for that. It was like y’all went backwards .. why? Why would you do that?

It’s so annoying wanting protection but not having the accessibility to lock and unlock your card without being told “ your financial institution server could not be reached. Please check your network and try again” for 8 HOURS. Don’t bank with GTE.

Same issue with the cards as all the other reviews. This bank also charges you $5 a month just to have an account unless you jump through a bunch of hoops. And also the physical locations don’t have tellers anymore. Do yourself a favor and find a bank with free checking. There’s plenty out there.

It said my information didn’t match the one the bank has on file, although it does. It refused to add my card and when I called GTE they couldn’t explain to me why it wasn’t working. They were basically rushing me off the phone. Just use a different bank honestly. With better customer service and apps.

App worked great until I jailbroke my phone. GTE cards developers claim that for my security GTECards no longer works. GTE Cards devs are too lazy to actually analyze what jailbreaking does so their “security concern” and blocking me from logging in is uneducated and uniformed developers at best, violating user and member respect at worst. I’ve seen UNjailbroke my phone and GTECards continues to give me that error, rendering my daily driver of a phone now unable to install or use GTECards entirely. Remove these heinous security practices you tout because your team is uneducated.

Having trouble logging in keeps saying server could not be reached when I try to log in

GTECards worked just fine at first till lately. I can’t log in now. Invalid user name or password. I haven’t changed a single thing. I can get into the GTE Mobile app fine and log into the web site using my ID and password with no issues. In fact, I am able to get into the GTE Cards app via the GTE Mobile app. I just can’t log straight into GTECards.
Something went wrong... Please fix this issue.

I was able to register both my debit and credit card without any issues. Where it asked for address, I just used my street address (did not include city or state).

I love how the itemized charges pop up on my phone as a notification alerting me of any debits or charges with my GTE card. I don’t understand why it had to be a separate app, but it is a passive app that works on the background.

Good thing I try things out myself instead of taking other people’s words. I downloaded GTECards , logged in using my GTE credentials and all of my cards were there. No need for any zip code/address etc. I’m able to activate/deactivate my cards, set limits and notifications etc. Works with no issue.
