Liked old version better

The older version was much better compared to this. Yeah, the teal Color is softer on your eyes, but every time You open Meditation they bug you about a subscription thing. You can now change the time limits for how long the things play but now the max is 10 minutes? It was 40 previously. I understand the voiced this app thing but the sleep sounds? Seriously? And some of the sleep sounds are locked behind a subscription, which honestly isn’t that bad. It’s just all the other things that I’ve mentioned. For the sleep sounds change it back to the old format, that would help a ton. And rather than bugging everyone that uses Meditation every time they open it with a subscription, maybe at the top, put a small advertisement for the subscription so if they are interested they can click to see what it’s about. On the topic of pop-ups, could you make it so that instead of the leave a review thing come up after each this app, have it be like the subscription thing that I recommend. They don’t have to be in the same place, as long as it doesn’t come up after every mediation right in your face, then we’re good. I have a recommendation for a auto play feature. If you are doing a this app, then there would be a button that toggled auto play, and when turned on, it would ask the number of times the this app would play. (I’m thinking a max of around 10 times) if you fixed some of the things, this would easily be a 4 or 5 star. Thanks!

Great Content but Glitches!

I’m on the second week of the intro to this app and I absolutely love the content and the voice is amazingly calming. Who is that woman? I would like to find out if she’s done any other work outside of Meditation!
I also really really appreciate that Meditation is free. All other this app apps I’ve found keep bugging you about getting a subscription (not very calming).
I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because while you play a this app Meditation crashes after the screen turns off. When you restart Meditation , you have to go back and find where you left off in the this app. My workaround is I tap on the screen once in a while during a this app (not ideal, but hey, it’s a free app with great content). I still prefer this than paying a monthly subscription.

Love it but needs small adjustments.

I love the this app in Meditation. The voice is soothing and the variety of this app is exactly what one would need when trying to improve their mental health. It is frustrating that I have to set my phone to not auto lock because once the phone locks the this app turns off. My other this app apps stay on whether my screen turns off or not. I wish they could add that feature so that I don’t have to change my settings every time. Lastly, I’d love to track where I am in the weekly this app guides. I track in manually, but would love if it kept track for me. I do love Meditation, but I hope updates will make it easier to use!

Never had anxiety like this

I was diagnosed with breast cancer a few months ago. I stayed strong went through the surgeries and have since moved on to radiation. I have lost relatives due to Covid and I am a complete claustrophobic. Almost everyone I know has told me to try this app to help me get through the treatments without extreme anxiety. I tried it for the first time today, and know I have a long way to go. However just in my first session I can tell you I will be back. Dealing with anxiety is one of the worst things I’ve experienced since all this. Learning to breathe, learning to stay calm is something I am so willing to learn. Having only done this one time, I am impressed. Here’s to a future with no anxiety.

I love it... but

I’ve recently wanted to get a this app app I had download a couple including calm but they require a subscription that is not affordable to me or to anyone it’s like $60 lol but anyway Meditation is completely free and I love that it has an introductory course because I have no idea what I’m doing. The only thing I have to complain about is in the sleep sounds section when I go to play the sounds and after about a minute or two it just shuts off but the timer still runs I’m assuming it’s a glitch but it doesn’t help me fall asleep because I have to open up my phone so I hope you guys can fix that soon other than that Meditation is amazing I would love if you guys could add more to it

First time meditator

I have never been the type if person to meditate or do breathing exercises but after finding Meditation I think I want to start looking more into doing it. I started using Meditation not only for a grade in my abnormal psych class but to see if it would also help with my anxiety and sleeping problems. Meditation shows me some of the things that we have learned in my psych class and how it actually helps. Meditating really does help with anxiety and I have officially experienced that and I can’t wait to start doing that when I feel anxious. The soothing nature and rain sounds are my favorite to listen too, however I wish that they would be played on a longer loop. I would recommend it for anyone who has or doesn’t have anxiety.

I feel so relieved!

I recently wanted to try this app to help control my anxiety and feel better. I heard many strong reviews about Calm, but all that they offer can only be accessed through a paid membership, which is not affordable at all. So, I found Meditation, which is free ;)... I think that it is really good and has helped me find ways to better myself. I would appreciate it if they added just a music option that way I can meditate by myself as well as with the guide. I don’t know if this happens to anyone else but Meditation closes out every time your phone locks. For iPhone users, you can fix it by changing your auto-lock to “Never” while you are meditating ( be sure to turn off low power mode). Other than that it is an amazing app, and I can’t wait to use it more often!

Absolute Beginner

I have been saying I’ve been wanting to meditate for years but where do I begin, where, and when. I made it far too complicated. I found Meditation and it has given me no excuse to start right away. My first one was in my bed just before going to sleep just to check it out.. I like that she has a soothing voice like Mary Poppins to tell me everything is as it should be.. just breathe it out, it’ll pass.
I have been doing it after my morning workouts for almost two weeks now and I have noticed more balance in my life.. I’m so grateful for stumbling on this and thank you to the creators!!

BEST visual guided meditation!!! AND FREE!?!

I’ve been using Meditation for bit over a year, I even had the version before it was renamed. I’ve tried quite a few other apps, even ones you have to pay for, but this one is hands down my favorite. I haven’t been consistent so I’m only on week 2 in intro lessons but it’s already made a world of a difference! The focus on breath and visualization helps me a lot since I’m a very visual person, and the guide’s voice is very soft and soothing, and her accent is a pleasant one to listen to. The music is also just soft synth hums rather than actual music, which is awesome since I tend to find complicated music distracting. The meditations I’ve done so far are short and sweet, averaging about 10 mins each. My only tiny complaint is that the audio shuts off if your screen is locked, so I have to turn off battery saver mode to keep my screen on the entire lesson. A very minor inconvenience, but it was annoying at first. This is definitely the best free this app app in Meditation Store!!! I cannot recommend it enough!!! Just 10 mins a day has changed my mental state for the better!!

Best free meditation app

Meditation gives you five full weeks of daily meditations that build on each other, plus some weeks of topic-specific this app (like happiness, productivity, bedtime...) I enjoy the sessions because they aren’t too long - maybe 8 minutes on average - so it is easy to do them in the morning and stick to it: it is the only this app app I’ve used that I’ve found sustainable based on its design, simplicity and length. I’ve recommended it to friends who have tried to meditate but quickly fall out of practice. I look forward to my morning routine which involves completing one session after washing up every day.

Great Mental Health App!

Real enjoying learning how to use this app to improve my focus, clear my mind, and facilitate positive mental health through Meditation. It’s useful, convenient, and very easy to use. The basics of each area are available without subscription and can be a great intro for anyone that’s new to this app or just wants to give Meditation a test run. The subscription gives you the option of going month to month for $9 or annual for $50. I highly recommend the annual subscription if you intend to make this part of your life. It’s more economical and you have access to everything you need to facilitate better mental and emotional clarity.

Get this.

I’ve never been able to consistently practice this app until I found this amazing app! Not only is it free which is a huge plus, but it’s also so calming, comforting, and motivating. I’m on day 8 and I think the routine I built around this practice is partially really just works for me and therefore is what made it so consistent. I do this this app right after I wake up every morning. Instead of sitting straight up I lay on the ground with a posture shaping foam thing under my neck. This seems to be easier for my body right after I just woke up and is psychologically easier too. Anyways. This is a great app! Highly recommended.

Enjoying it!

I’ve never tried any other this app app, so I don’t have anything for comparison. However, I feel that since I have been motivated to press play each day since I have began my this app journey, that speaks to the quality of Meditation . It has kept my interest and I look forward to my practice each day. I’ve also shared Meditation with friends who’ve expressed interest in beginning this app. I like that Meditation is separated into sections, then by the weeks and days. The one thing that would be helpful (as I get along further) is if Meditation would keep track of the days completed so it would be easier to remember where I left off.

Shoutout to the mysterious British woman

I never leave reviews on apps, honestly this might be my first one, but this this app app is truly calming and life-changing. I was going through a really rough time about 3 months ago and these daily meditations were among the only things I could actually look forward to during the day. Especially the British woman's voice, I don't know why but something about her voice is so calming and reinforcing. Even when I'm having the worst of days she'll say "Have a great day" and I'm like WOW. Mind blowing. Truly show-stopping.

Anyways I'd never meditated before Meditation and now it's a part of my daily routine 3 months later. Definitely recommend, makes my life feel a lot clearer!

Amazing and calming!

Due to this pandemic, I’ve been very stressed. I’m currently in middle school, so I’m juggling being alone all day (my single parent mom has to go to work), school, homework, online extracurriculars, and trying to relax with friends. It’s getting to overwhelming, but had this pandemic not been around, it would seem normal.

I was scrolling on Tik Tok, and found out about “shifting”. It’s basically where you’re body is asleep, but your mind is awake in a desired reality. I wanted to try it for myself to possibly be in my own world for a while. A big part of it was meditating, and that was something I did not expect. Since I have nothing better to do, I thought I would give this app a shot.

It was most certainly worth it. I came across Meditation, and the only this app I had done was one time in an extracurricular. I just completed day 2 this morning, and it’s so helpful! I had a test, tried out the new breathing; not only was ready for it study wise, but I was mental prepared after trying out the quick breathing method.

I doubt anyone has read all the way down here, but if you have, be sure to check Meditation out!

Just what I didn’t think I needed

this app in itself is very beneficial to my mental health, but it is intimidating to try something new and not know where or how to start. When I downloaded Meditation I automatically thought it was going to be pointless without a subscription like the calm app, but I was wrong Meditation is amazing, each day teaching you new techniques to cope with stressful times with your breath and making your body and mind relax. I never thought I would turn my mind off, but with help of Meditation, it’s easier than I thought. I’ve already recommended it to people in my life. The days are quick, calming reminders to let your mind be free, I use to daily religiously, I hope they never run out of new meditations!

Life-Changing!

I’ve never meditated before downloading Meditation, but with the world the way it is lately, I needed to find a way to handle my anxiety and unease, so I found Meditation and haven’t looked back. I use it almost every morning in the time I used to use to scroll through social media, and I find myself in a markedly better mindset throughout the day through that.

My only two grievances are that, as a smoker, some of the breathing exercises are a little beyond my lung capacity, but that’s on me. If I could make a suggestion, though, I’d love a feature that lets me know where I’ve left off. I don’t always remember which day I was listening to the morning before, so some way to keep track of that kind of thing would be really good.

Meditation at its best

This is the best app I have found hands-down. It is completely free, and I love how peaceful the woman’s voice is. It sounds to me like she is a professional when it comes to teaching this app and I look forward to doing more this app lessons. I discovered Meditation yesterday as I was playing around on Meditation Store and when I listen to day one, I fell in love with it. Thank you for creating such a wonderful app, I am enjoying it greatly. This is definitely this app at its best. Now that there is a subscription, I have gladly subscribed to it. I feel like it will be worth it, now that there is more than just this app courses. There is also yoga, sleep stories, and even live sessions with some of the best instructors in my opinion. Thanks again for creating such a wonderful app, keep Meditation updated regularly so that it can be as clean as possible, because I truly love it. I am addicted now, and I don’t think I will go to any other this app app.

Sceptical Stress Case!

I’ve been feeling trapped and becoming a stay at home Dad has it’s challenges and rewards, but when my worst fear of becoming a Parent Marriage actually started happening before my eyes, I became afraid and shut off from my wife! We’re not fighting or yelling or becoming dangers to our children, but there’s definitely something missing and I can’t figure out how to get that Lovers desire back into our relationship! I desire my wife, but where I’m always the one more willing to talk out our problems she’s more shut off, the personality that just says nothing when she’s stressed! I need Meditation for my sanity! I will recommend for her so we can each hopefully start enjoying life again! This pandemic/ quarantine lifestyle has changed a lot and heightened our stress levels! I just pray that day 2 will do the same for me as day one did for me today! I’m in a good headspace and just awaiting my daughter to wake from her nap, mommy will be home soon and I’m happy she’s coming home to a better me! Hopefully!

Life-changing and necessary

I downloaded Meditation at the beginning of the week after trying several other guided this app apps only to realize that they required payment to access the lessons. Meditation, however, is completely free and has several different programs to choose from. I'm only four days into the 'Introduction to this app' program and I already feel more peaceful in my day-to-day life. Taking time to do these lessons has become something I look forward to each day, and I think learning how to be mindful is more important now than ever. I look forward to continuing my this app journey with Meditation and I hope that more programs are coming soon.

Great content, lousy app.

You can’t use it on an iPhone because after a few minutes it times out. When you awaken the phone you can’t recover the this app from where you left off. App asks you to set up an account so your progress can be tracked, yet it tracks NOTHING. Tried the get help using the contact button from the menu and it just opens my email with a blank “To” field so it’s useless. The content is great but the bugs are so counterproductive to the objective that I’m going to find a better app that has support!

App crashes

The sleep sounds are cool and I love how you can layer them all up. I wish that you could set them for longer than 40 minutes and that it wasn’t so clear when the segment is being repeated, like it’s a little choppy.

The main problem is Meditation crashes whenever you listen to a this app and your phone screen goes to sleep or it’s locked. It’ll play for about 30 second with the screen off then Meditation will crash.

Great app if it would play

Meditation would be wonderful if it didn’t cut off every couple of minutes. It is very difficult to relax when you have to tap the screen each minute to make sure Meditation doesn’t force itself to quit. You get a couple of minutes into a session and next thing you know it’s silent so you look at your phone and your home screen is staring back at you. You go back into Meditation and have to start the session over again or skip through to find where you were.

Great except for one inconvenience

I love Meditation . It truely does help with my stress levels & make my day a lot better. My only issue is that as I meditate, my screen will turn off which turns Meditation off. Midway through I lose my concentration & can’t resume where I was so i basically keep restarting the beginning of the exercise repeatedly. Otherwise, I love Meditation & would recommend it.

Beautiful Meditations

I’m only on my second day of meditating on Meditation, I love it already and really appreciate being able to use it without paying a subscribers fee. All the apps I’ve been on charge to get a good amount of mediations and My manifestations are not here yet, so I don’t have money yet to be able to pay a fee, therefore I really appreciate a good free app. Thanks so much again I will continue to review to keep y’all posted on Meditation works out for me.

First time with this app

It was good. Pace, voice were calming. I liked it. However, Meditation kept shutting off every minute or minute and a half. There must be something on my iPhone I can do to change that. If this is an easy fix on my end please let me know I want to continue uninterrupted. Thank you.

Super easy to start!

This is my very start to mediation and I wasn’t sure if I could get into..... next thing I know it’s been 8 minutes and my first lesson is done!! Can’t wait to see what’s next and hopefully I can keep it up. Super easy to start and no info needed! Just a comfy place to sit and your on your way to a better mental life!

Just what i needed

I love the sets of guided meditations. I was looking to ease my way back into meditating and Meditation is perfect for getting me back on track. My only complaint is the this app lesson will stop if my phone locks, so I have to be sure to set my screen lock to “never” in my phone settings before meditating. Don’t want to mess up my flow but other than that? Meditation is just right👌🏽👍🏽

Amazing

Meditation has done wonders for my mental health. I’m completely new to this app but have always wanted to try it. It takes you step by step, day by day into the world of this app. Once completed, you feel ready to tackle the day with any situations which may come your way. I love the light sensation I get once completing my daily this app. Highly recommend it.

Good choice for financial issues and can’t adored a subscription

Meditation has been amazing and I’m a pretty cheap person and not the type to spend money on a subscription and almost ever app I tried asked like 20 times per use and it took away the point away form this app but Meditation doesn’t do that and that’s my #1 favorite part of Meditation

Great App!!!!!

Meditation has helped me so much to learn how to mediate. Overthinking and anxiety has been an issue for a while, but learning about this app has really changed it. I now have my mom using Meditation as well! On the contrary, I have to change my settings of my phone to where it does not lock before I start a this app. When my phone locks, the this app will turn off in the middle and I would have to start over. I believe this is a small bug issue. Other than that, GREAT APP!

Meditation has been amazing at calming and relaxing after a long workout and yoga! I absolutely love taking the 10-15 mins to breathe and relax my muscles that are overly tense and my mind that is absolutely racing with all of my daily plans! Meditation was recommended by one of my nurse friends, she absolutely loved it and said it relieved so much of her anxiety from her busy class schedules and workload! Absolutely amazing, and it’s FREE! totally worth the download hope to see an update with more meditations! I love it, definitely recommend!

Enjoying it

Adore Meditation ! Especially since calm app took away majority of their free stuff. The only fault in Meditation is I wish there was a way to play the this app music w/ out the words and that the sleepsounds didn’t seem so choppy, like we’re more cohesive/blended better bcuz I can hear the pause when the short sound clip starts over. It should be seamless. Also it would be dope if we could listen to the music for more than 40 mins. But it’s a free app so I’m not really complaining just thought it would be helpful info for the makers.

Nice Intro

This is such a nice introduction to guided this app. I’m also thankful it’s not a subscription app. My only gripe is that a lot of times the apps shuts off in the middle of this app, after like a minute or two. I wish that could be fixed but this is free so there’s not a ton of room to ask for improvements. Overall, great app!
