Cannot get set up

My husband tried several times and I tried several times. Neither of us can get this to connect! We have both connected numerous devices to Bluetooth on our iPhones. This one will not connect. It was a complete waste of money!
Outdoor smart plug

Way too complicated. I couldn’t get it working and I’m taking it back. I don’t want to freeze standing in the cold trying to figure out how or why WestinghouseSmartPlug isn’t working.
Device is useless

Outdoor Smart Plug will not connect to wifi, keeps getting the timeout error. Waste of time and money.

Setup a bit slow. Bought two outdoor plugs but no way to change name, like plug 1 and 2. Can add nickname to one but it doesn’t show in app. Both plugs same name, not so good. It appears WestinghouseSmartPlug works well otherwise.

App quickly found the plugs
Had to change to the 2.4ghz WiFi for a few then back to the 5g WiFi.
App still controls the light so not a big issue
I like the weather alert in WestinghouseSmartPlug !
