Great Potential; please update

Big issue, especially among juniors, is prompt case logs. As surgeons, we are always pressed for time. Often hard to remember to log cases immediately after, as that time may be devoted to patient care or other house keeping issues. Cases can go unclogged for days, weeks, or forgotten completely. Before ACGMECaseLogs, I actually made a home button to take me directly to the log web page, but it was not ideal. For some reason the mobile version of the site was hit/miss.

ACGMECaseLogs worked like a charm at first but recently I ran into some UI issues, similar to the issues when accessing the website from phone. The most frustrating being unable to scroll to the bottom to click submit after filling out all the information. The drop down menus also seem to be out of place since the most recent iOS update.

Great app. Been waiting 5 years for this one. But needs an update urgently

Anesthesia version is terrible

ACGMECaseLogs is a waste of time. It is much slower to log anesthesia cases than using the desktop site. First off, it doesn’t keep you logged in like every other app on one’s phone making it rather inconvenient to use (I know the website also doesn’t keep you logged in and that’s also inconvenient and pointless but at least my computer more easily autofills my password). Logging cases is cumbersome because every single different section has to be selected separately from a dropdown instead of having them all appear simultaneously on the same page. The way one needs to hit a “plus” button to select ASA status, etc doesn’t make sense. Why aren’t the giant ASA numbers the buttons themselves?
Bottom line is ACGMECaseLogs is poorly designed and is greatly inferior to simply logging cases on the website.

Worthless App

ACGMECaseLogs really defeats the purpose of being a quick and convenient way to log cases in between cases. The log in information is not saved and requires an unnecessarily long password. As you type in the log in information it bumps you out intermittently. The scrolling to find a saved procedure becomes locked and unable to scroll unless you realest the drop down menu. Too many bugs and too many inconveniences to make it worth using throughout the day.

Simple

The advantage of ACGMECaseLogs is to take out your phone and log the case right after you’re done. Functionality is otherwise limited (ie cannot search prior cases at least at this time) and would be best served still with the acgme website. A good, convenient start nevertheless and I suspect future versions will be more comprehensive

Functional but not useful

ACGMECaseLogs simply loads the case log web page; there is no advantage over just placing a link to the case log page on the home screen. You even have to do the full web page log in every time.

Three significant improvements:

1) Use of FaceID to log in; a pin would be a good alternative for phones that don’t use FaceID.

2) Offline logging, which syncs to the cloud caselog when back online. Many ORs have limited cell and WiFi service (looking at you, VA) so an online only app loses some utility.

3) A (limited) reports options - maybe total numbers vs required, case summary for the last XX amount of time, and a last XX cases logged

A good start

Overall easy to use but it would be nice to be able to review and edit previously submitted cases. It’s basically the mobile version of the website, so it would be nice to see this revamped into an actual novel app.

Finally an easy way to log cases on the go

Almost perfect
The screen is such that I cannot reach the green submit button after adding the case😭😭😭😭

Bug

Potential for being very useful but I am Unable to submit cases as the submit button is below the screen and ACGMECaseLogs does not allow me to scroll down far enough to see it

By

Good not great

Appreciate ACGMECaseLogs . Agree with other reviewers- please fix scrolling issue: not always able to scroll down to hit submit. Adding saved login or Touch ID support would also be helpful.

By

Cannot stay logged in

Would be great if ACGMECaseLogs allowed for touch ID or allowed you to stay logged in. Tracking down my ACGME log in and password every time is a barrier.

HIPAA not HIPPA

You misspelled HIPAA.

Not useful

This application does not allow the user to submit after all fields have been completed.

Doesn’t work.

Doesn’t work. At all.

Good start. Needs more functions. Occasionally Buggy.

It’s convenient to log cases on the go. It would be able to “Lock” codes like you can do on the website to avoid having to search for the same code when you are logging multiple instances of the same procedure. On occasion the screen will not let me scroll down to the green submit button, which requires me to restart ACGMECaseLogs and re-enter all of the case info.

Can’t scroll

This has the potential to be a great app. When i search for a code to log, i can’t scroll through search results.
