It’s great that programs like WIC are available for mothers. That said, it would be nice if there was a working app to use the program. SouthCarolinaWIC worked great the first time I registered and set it up. I was able to see my benefits and more importantly I was able to scan foods in the store to make sure that they were included in the program. Because there are so many foods and options and not everything is included it can be difficult to find the correct foods that are in the program. Therefore SouthCarolinaWIC is great for this, the first and only time it worked.
After that first time I tried to re-login and it wouldn’t allow me to login. I tried to do password resets which did work, well presumably, but then after resetting the password it said that the account didn’t exist. So how can you reset a password for an account that doesn’t exist? That doesn’t make any sense. See SouthCarolinaWIC does not work well.
This really shouldn’t be an optional tool for mothers, SouthCarolinaWIC should work and it should be a tool that mothers can use because there are so many food choices and is difficult to find things that are included in the program.
SouthCarolinaWIC was working great up until a few weeks ago! I live in SC and it signed me out one day and now it doesn’t recognize my password and it won’t let me update it! This needs to be fix because now this prolongs the shopping process , I would have to go the register first buy one thing i know that’s on there just to get them to print the paper slip out!

I’ve never had any issues with SouthCarolinaWIC until recently the upc scanner is blurry and will not scan any barcodes I’ve checked my phone camera and it’s perfectly fine I’ve read other reviews and they also have the same problem it needs to be fixed.
There’s a bug in the mobile app. I’ve called the wick office is a dozen times trying to report this issue but nothing has been fixed. When trying to register a new account, when you try to enter the birthdate SouthCarolinaWIC crashes. Even with this current update, this bug still has not been fixed. The point of contacts in the office have no clue how to help with this issue either
I entered all of my information to register for an account, and it says it’s invalid information. I triple checked all the numbers. They worked to activate the card and to sign into the Wic Connect website, but SouthCarolinaWIC is still blocking me. I looked all over the Wic website and called the appointment line and the card service line, and nobody can help me. I hope someone can contact me about this problem and get it sorted out!
I had to reinstall SouthCarolinaWIC on my new phone and now I can’t login to my account. The reset password function just tells me my information is invalid. It also will not let me register again with a new email address. The WIC office can’t seem to help so I guess I’m just out of luck?!? Does SouthCarolinaWIC actually have a support team bc I can’t find any information.
Doesn’t let me scan any products do to making the camera horrible quality and blurry when phone camera works fine is anyone else having this issue recently?
I never had issues with SouthCarolinaWIC until recently. The camera shows up blurry on SouthCarolinaWIC and won’t scan anything. I checked my actual camera on my phone and my camera is fine. I’m not sure what’s going on with SouthCarolinaWIC but please fix it so I can scan items again to see if they qualify as Wic items. Thank you.
Yes this is easier but at the same time now the scanner doesn’t work and many of the items on here do not go through at the checkout and the stores can’t tell you what is not acceptable. Yes I read through everything and used the pics of the exact item and it would not allow it to go through
It was good while it lasted, for like a whole 2 months. One day it decided to log me out and not let me back in, nor will it let me change my password. I relied on SouthCarolinaWIC to help me see what I can/cannot get, especially knowing how many formulas I have and how many of what kind of baby food I can start getting next month for my triplets. Definitely needs fixed.
My app scanner is extremely glitchy and I can not scan a single item to be able to make sure I’m grabbing the rite items it needs to be fixed
This is way more convenient than going by the receipts but the upc scan feature is very blurry, while my camera alone on my phone works great. If this is fixed I would give it 5 stars.
SouthCarolinaWIC is great when it actually fully works. I haven’t been able to use the SKU scanner in a few months now so I’m unable to see if things are WIC eligible. It’s extremely blurry and won’t focus to scan skus.
App works great, when you can get it to work. Got a new foster child, and can’t register the new child on SouthCarolinaWIC . Keeps saying my email already exists with an account (previous foster). WIC has removed me from previous foster acct, and I still can’t use SouthCarolinaWIC . The eWIC hotline says they don’t help with that stuff. The WIC office also couldn’t help. Guess I’m out of luck. It was really good that one time though.
Overall, SouthCarolinaWIC is a great resource to utilize when you are in the store checking your benefits, but more importantly, being able to scan and verify that the items are indeed included in the program as store labeling can be incorrect or not available. Not too long ago app update, resolved the camera issues that were occurring for quite some time, so thank you! Overall, SouthCarolinaWIC does the job. the benefits screen gets in the way of current benefits a little bit and could provide a better UX. Overall SouthCarolinaWIC could be a little bit snappier and optimized from a performance standpoint.
When I scan SouthCarolinaWIC lately it said it's approved the when go to check out it doesn't pay for it. Not sure why. Thanks
I honestly love SouthCarolinaWIC so far! Only downfall is the camera does not work. It’s so blurry you cannot scan anything . Some stores don’t label everything correctly so it’s hard to tell what you can and cannot get.
SouthCarolinaWIC is Super cool and awesome !!! I can Always check my balances at a push of button. And even after check out I just refresh SouthCarolinaWIC and it automatically refreshes!! So convenient. Very happy
Up to date by the minute and so easy to use. Way better than the paper checks and having to buy things you don’t need yet. I love the scanning products feature to check if it’s included because store tags aren’t usually accurate.
So much easier than having to carry all those papers
