This is exactly what I was looking for. A simple way to track business miles I drive for tax deduction.
The problem is that there is no way for me to manually edit/add trips if I forget to start the tracking. This is likely to happen many times throughout the year so I don’t see a way I can use SoloTrip.
If I’m missing this feature or it is something you plan to add please let me know!
Consistently encounter errors: split times are rarely correct and distance gets stuck all the time. For example, app will read 1.82 miles for 5 minutes while running. Then you’ll get the 2 mile notification, at 2.25 miles. The inaccuracy is frustrating.
I’ve tried other apps to time and measure my walks, and they’ve frustrated me by malfunctioning. I’ve been using this one for less than a week, and I haven’t had any trouble with it yet. I only wish that it would also tell me how many calories I’ve burned and how many steps I’ve taken. Next version, perhaps?
A fine simple way to track your trips. However, I’m noticing that the clock is somewhere between 20-30 minutes ahead of the actual time. Also, in the trips log, the date column and the distance column slightly overlap, making it a little hard to read. Still, a nice easy app to use.
I walk the same route every day, but the distance measured varies sometimes by as much as several hundred yards. Not sure if it’s measuring my pace or a gps track, but at the end of a 6 mile walk on a loop that is slightly less than a mile, the 6 mile mark can be different by several tenths of a mile. Other than that, it works great.
I really like SoloTrip. I have been wondering how far I ride my bike. Now I know. The only problem is when looking at the final trip information the year 2022 over laps the distance traveled. If not for that I would give it a 5 star rating.
Pretty easy to use. Not many features, but one thing that does need fixing is the time zone settings. All my trips in my time zone (east coast U.S.) are not listing correct times. If i start a trip at 9:00, it will list that I have started at 10:00. I have to set my settings for a different time zone in order for my results will show the time it is here. Then each trip I have to reset time zone again. Very very annoying which may influence me to find another mile tracker. Fix that and I’ll change my rating to 5 stars.
I do like the tone play after each mile.
I use Solo Trip to log my running miles. Simple to use. Doesn’t glitch. Accurate even on trails way off the grid. Does everything I want it to do without any clutter or unnecessary features. Well done.
I am keeping track of miles walked. This not only does that but also show you a map of your walk. Thanks for SoloTrip
SoloTrip is great for tracking the distance and time of runs or walks. Took me a while to find a tracker that didn’t require monthly subscriptions and this one worked perfectly!
This was an excellent app. Unfortunately it does not announce the duration of last mile which I really liked since I upgraded my iPhone to 14 PRO.
Hopefully you can update SoloTrip soon. Really appreciated.
Does a great job of tracking my walking. Wish I could add some info to my trips would be nice. 👍
How about adding a notes function to SoloTrip. Been using it for awhile.
This is exactly what I was looking for! A simple tracking application that shows a map and trip history. Absolutely perfect for my needs without all the confusing bells and whistles that permeates the other apps. My daughter also downloaded it and loved it as much as I do. Thank you so much!
Free. Tracks distance and time and pace. Shows your gps track at the end. Tracks your exercises. Have been looking for an app like this for forever.
When I walk on roads and trails, all I wanted was an app which tracks the distance and shows my path on a map. That without any fancy bells and whistles. Even better it’s free and no ads. Can’t ask more.
Technically, if I don’t make sense, what SoloTrip provides is exactly what all I wanted. 💯%
If you're looking for a good simple running app without having to go through a myriad of different things , this is it . Tried a few others and will stick with this one .
Very simple app (text overlaps but that is ok)
I used it daily, in fact since I downloaded this year I walked almost 650 miles so far. It helped me walk 12 miles in some days. This is by far the best simple app if it stays that way.
I use SoloTrip to track mileage and like that it you can manually start and stop the tracking. My only one suggestion would be to be able to select monthly export of mileage or select parameters to export.
This is a very simple and easy app. I walk every day. SoloTrip does exactly what I needed. It shows the distance, total time and how fast I walked per minute. It also shows the route walked. I can easily modify my route by just looking where I previously walked and adding another block or street.
I like SoloTrip a lot, I use it to track my skateboard rides and it does that very well. I like the exportable data feature, however I also would like to export the gps data as well. If there is a current way to do that I haven’t found it, if it’s not I would love to see it as a feature
SoloTrip is really simple. It does everything I want it to do and nothing that I don’t want it to do. I use it to track my exercise walks. It keeps a record of the date, time, distance, and the route I took. It’s perfect. I tried others and they were just a lot of nonsense to deal with.
So easy and simple to use. I don’t need a million upgrades to keep track of my pace and distance. Highly recommend
