If you want to make a awful user experience this is how you do it, the concept is nice, it isn’t hard to use or understand, and honestly could be an amazing app. But the pop ups, random ads, and who ever decided to have it recommend to buy it every single time you open SnapTranslate up, take a picture, or anything needs to be fired or talked to.

To conclude, I spent 30 minutes just being annoyed at SnapTranslate and uninstalled it, I’d recommend if your going to make it free on SnapTranslate Store, actually make it free, subscriptions and ads are nice to have but don’t throw it in my face over and over again like all you care about is money. Your overall idea and concept is amazing, but your execution is absolutely ridiculous and is only annoying to anyone using it.

I was lookingFor a app that can translateThat you don’t have to pay for until I found your app and I was just going through it and reading comments until I saw the comment that you have to pay for I and I thought it wasn’t real so I downloaded it and I found out you have to pay for it I was so mad so I deleted it 😡 at least I’m nice enough to give you five stars

Everywhere it’s been seen they don’t show that you need to pay for the service, plus it’s not even that good.

I found SnapTranslate and I was like this is so cool you can tell animal breeds which is helpful because I have one dog and two cats but then it asks for my email like really! Why do you need this to just see plant and animal breeds or to translate languages. So I decide not to put in my email and guess what you have to pay like what the! One app that does this that you don’t need to pay would get so much attention. And don’t think it’s one and done it either WEEKLY OR MONTHLY like who is going to do this just to see what kind of plant, animal, or language stuff is. DISAPOINTED! 😡

I subscribed and all it does is say error every time I try to do anything but say “error” and a bunch of pop up ads every second 🙄 Then the developer only responds to a good review not bad review or suggestions on how to make SnapTranslate better, would be nice to take heed to suggestions and then charge because it would be worth it. Charging for an app that’s not even fictional and rude with the hundreds of pop up ads…Straight garbage 🗑🚮Frustrating and useless

I downloaded it to try to ID a plant. Not only did it not ID it, it kept telling me to put item in the frame (which it was). I had 3 seconds to take the picture before an ad popped up. The ads popped up so much. Too much to be able to use SnapTranslate at all! No way I am Subscribing to something that can’t even work during the trial period enough to let you see what it can do!

Just make the entire app cost money, don’t make it free and then make everything cost money. That’s giving people a false idea that it’s actually free :/. If I’m being honest it would have been a pretty cool and helpful app if it wasn’t so limited. At least only make certain things cost money then make other things free. The ads are fine I guess. It’s really disappointing.

I want this to be one dollar please be one dollar please Why can’t it be free please make it free no money One dollar I do not like SnapTranslate anymore how would you do that

When I saw SnapTranslate I was excited to translate items that were in my house by taking a picture but then I realize how many adds pop up on SnapTranslate. They constantly pop up, it’s like the creator wanted to set up a money farm by putting tons and tons of adds. Super annoying and disappointing!🙁😡🤬

SnapTranslate is actually so bad. I try to take a photo and it crashed my whole phone, I cant even take a photo without having an ad to buy something from them or an ad about geico or something 5 second later DURING MY PHOTO!! I literally got it so I could see what my friend was trying to translate. Its absolutely TERRIBLE! Don’t get SnapTranslate.

I saw an ad on Snapchat so I decided to try it on my cat and my dog because it says it can identify plants and animals. I clicked a single button and it took me to a $14 each two months or a $24 a year scam. it won’t even be any use without the trial either. So all I have to say is don’t waste your time if you don’t want to spend a cent.

I would give it five stars but I’m only giving it three because when you download SnapTranslate you can only snap one photo something and after that you have to pay. It’s a very accurate app I’ve tested it on a lot of other things including my dog. I wish you didn’t cost so much.

Pretends that it is free and having a subscription is optional when it’s really not. I’m not paying for that. I saw an ad for this on Snapchat that it can name everything but I saw other reviews that said it was just a translator, you can look it up on Google easy and free.

Eh it’s cool but also kinda lame. Like why make us pay a large subscription amount a week. It’s frustrating cause SnapTranslate isn’t even like worth paying I just thought it’d be chill but too many ads and nothing to do on the free version. It’s just if you guys wanna do subscriptions you should do it more affordably.

I tried to take a photo of my tv text translation
I try to take a photo of my brother text translation it’s like whatever I take a picture of it comes up as text translation and try’s to make me buy it including my dog and the plants I have TO BUY IT so the concept of SnapTranslate is cool but it’s to expensive

Tried to validate SnapTranslate ’s ability to accurately name plants. I got one try. You literally are bombarded by “free trial” pop ups until the apps stops functioning without a subscription. Might be cool but I’m not going to subscribe to something without a validation period outside of a paywall.

When i saw the add I was excited because it looked helpful and it was free but when I downloaded it I saw you do have to pay for it to actually use SnapTranslate which annoyed me because of ur gonna have to pay for SnapTranslate than you should not advertise it as not having to pay for it

First of all when I open SnapTranslate and tap on asking me to pay and you shouldn’t have to pay because it didn’t say you had to be in the adSecond of all when I paid for it it didn’t even read my face or my dog honestly. Don’t download this game

An excellent easy way to translate especially while traveling

1 star. SnapTranslate is really bad. For an $8 subscription, the price is extremely inflated and it lacks value. Use Google Translate app for free or WeChat (for Chinese translation). They do the same and more!

Look elsewhere for your needs! SnapTranslate is garbage (for the asking price).

Weekly subscription is way too expensive

All I can say is it is of ZERO use in Hebrew. It was not even—anything. It was a garbled mess. When it didn’t work, I tried it on some larger clear text in a size that lined up just right in the lines. It was still just nonsense.

Not at all working in like the ad video. And 8$ a week and asking to rate it before you even have a chance to try... that’s attempted theft.

I literally just opened SnapTranslate and I am already being asked to rate and upgrade. It’s a nuisance. I haven’t had a chance to use SnapTranslate , how can I rate?

Without money SnapTranslate is trash it doesn’t translate you anything and I won’t use my money on app like this

It can not translate simple English words to Chinese,it’s no use at all.
