Worked well before.. but now has issues

TripSource’s previous version worked great but this new version has issues updating information during a trip. It doesn’t terminal, gate and baggage claim information correctly like it used to before in previous version. Importing externally booked trip details has now become cumbersome. It adds imported trips into existing or previous trips book through BCD travel. It does not recognize logical dates of booking when year details in booking is not provided. For example, when trip commences in Dec 2019 and ends in Jan 2020 and the year details are not given booking, it would show the booking as starting on Jan 2019 and ending in Dec 2019. I don’t think I can use this apps anymore. I wish you could go back to the previous version that worked correctly.

Could be Great, But.....

I use TripSource and love having my trip info organized in one folder. It makes it easy to find locator numbers to check in ... except when it doesn’t download the Locator number, flight, or gate info. For some reason when I travel on Southwest the folder will show trip and cities but not all the details you need to know. It’s really a pain to go through having to go find your locator number; especially if your company makes your travel plans for you. Most of the time I can then load my Mobil boarding pass in my Apple wallet but today it wouldn’t do that. Just sometimes not reliable . If they fix this I would give a very strong 5 stars.

Fair enough

TripSource allows for trip alerts advising of various delays, etc. that is nice. It also allows for a place to track and store copies of receipts for your trip.

TripSource can sync with your calendar adding your trip details for you. That is convenient. The interface is fairly clean allowing you to select a trip and then pull items from an envelope showing some details about that item. These details are not all pulled when you a forward a confirmation email.

There is still a bit of tweaking that needs to be done to TripSource to make it on par with other apps available out there. But, for a free app that connects directly to your travel agent, it isn’t bad.

Worst app ever to book air travel on

My company (Network Television) started using TripSource for us to book our air travel. It is so frustrating to use. You would think it was designed by someone who builds government apps. I had to use a stylus, a lot of the buttons (time of departure) etc don’t work and since u have to constantly zoom in to input data it’s always asking if you want to leave TripSource . None of my co workers like it either.
The real problem with it is they ported a website to an IOS app. It would be fine if you could use it on a laptop (which we can’t) but doing it on a phone is brutal. If the developer would ever use it to book a flight on their phone they would rebuild it immediately

Why refer me to Wallet

Keeps track of my trip, does very well checking in for flights and sending reminders. But why have the user send boarding passes to Wallet? Why not have a full size view of the pass in this app to use when boarding? Seems to be a needless extra step and a little frustrating, because it took multiple tries to load the pass from TS to Wallet.

It organizes my life

I have to travel very often. Love TripSource, no more papers, easy to use and it updates automatically all the information.
I haven't been able to do the check-ins through TripSource , but that depends on each travel company.

Needs a lot of work

It is so frustrating that a business app doesn’t have a saved login - or if it does, isn’t working correctly. Viewing trips should be quick and seamless.

There’s a lot to be desired of TripSource. It doesn’t handle multiple legs of trips very well. If part of a journey is complete but not another portion, it shows the trip as in the past.

For one of my hotels, the pin on the map was wrong and showed it in a city an hour away from where I booked it, nearly causing a panic. The address booked was correct though.

When it comes time to check into a flight, or at any point you want to review/edit a flight, there’s no way to click through from an itinerary to an airline site which is quite frustrating.

Sales

Trip Source AP was very useful and accurate while traveling. My bags were late coming into my destination due to an airline error and Trip Source sent me notification long before the airline.
Very impressed!!

Absolute garbage

It’s been many months now since my job switched to TripSource. Since then it’s worked exactly 1 time for me. If I’m able to even browse hotels and get as far as picking one, whenever I try to book I get a “it’s not you it’s us” message and to try again. I’ve rebooted, uninstalled and reinstalled, cleared app data and everything else I could think of. I’ve even changed phones but it still acts the same. Garbage.

Solid travel app.

Clean interface, integrated hotel booking...which is incredibly convenient. I receive messages from this app before I get them from the carriers.

Well done.

Great app

This is a wonderful app that allows consolidation of all trips with integrated itineraries, directions, alerts, etc. It allows me to easily navigate a tough travel schedule.

Find motel close to my destination

this app keeps all my reservations in one spot, which is great! I wish it could help me select a motel based on the proximity of my destination. I’d love to be able to enter an address and have it show me motels, distances, and reservation costs.

It’s good but....

There are some quirky things about TripSource .

Like it would be really nice to be able to either delete or send past trips to history so that there is a place for current and future trips only.

By

Feedback

I wish our actual electronic tickets were part of the itinerary. That would save from having to use multiple apps. Also, when emailing the itinerary to others, we should be able to write a note with it.

Satisfactory

Now the TripSource Forces me to ‘update’ at the airport-right when I need my information the most. When I open TripSource I want it to work. An Update should be at my request! I don’t expect this app to be like the DMV by imparting policy. I never had a problem the past w/o updating, but I guess the developers showed me.

By

Login Screen Regression

TripSource is generally good, but the new login screen no longer allows pasting in the password field, nor does it have any password manager integration. This is quite frustrating for users that use password managers and are unable to paste in their long, complex passwords.

App was fine but now worthless after recent update

I never get worked up enough to write a review, but the latest update has ruined TripSource. It is buggy and unusable to the point that I stopped and booked a hotel room through my company travel website instead for the first time ever since getting TripSource.

Someone probably needs to get on that.

Decent trip app

Most functionalities work pretty well. The only issue I’m having is the Message tab doesn’t show my messages. I see that it says 6 messages but when I go in there it’s totally blank. I get alerts for the messages but I can se them in the message tab.

Excellent customer service

Thank you for being helpful and assisting with all my flights

Intl trip

It was so nice to have all of the details for each leg of my trip quickly accessible, and just the detail needed.
