In reading all these 1 star reviews it’s clear they are fake. SPEDN works at all the retailers they claim it doesn’t. I’ve used this countless times to spend my crypto. It not only works, it works ultra fast and never failed to work for me.

Download this, if you are a consumer, or a business owner, this is the future of payment. It was in the Tierney, propagated by credit card companies, and their exorbitant fees, against merchants and consumers!

This is app is the only one of its kind. I send money from my wallet and spend, seriously genius.

As bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies gain popularity, more people wonder, “What can I do with my cryptocurrency?” Now some people save it up but also using it at stores and shops is amazing! The US dollar is going to fail just like all the other currencies in history, and cryptocurrency being like gold there’s only a limited about of it will help it retain its value! SPEDN is already allowing cryptocoin holders to spend their crypto currency at their stores. Now yes, there is not a lot of stores which some people might find concerning, this is early access and is constantly being updated and new locations are being added. Please note that it is incredible that these stores are wanting be be added to this app because crypto currency is such a new thing! I know that if Flexa keeps up the good work and gets businesses involved then this will be one of the top apps that allow you to spend your cryptocurrency anywhere at any time. One thing that is disappointing is that you can’t withdraw, so please add that functionality!
Flexa, please keep working hard and do not give up! I can see this becoming one of the top ways to spend crypto currency! Keep it up Flexa!

This is incredible. Very simple process. And now i dont have to use credit/debit cards that have insane fees.

I used Gemini exchange to trade and purchase crypto. Gemini gives you 10 free withdrawals a month at this point.

In the this app app, I copied the Bitcoin Wallet address and pasted that into the gemini withdrawal/send to address. Set how much to send.
Took less than 30seconds.

There were no fees for me to spend the crypto or own this wallet on my phone or to exchange the currency. It just transacts the value of the crypto at the time I scan at the register.
This is awesome.

Cant wait till they have more stores on this list. I’m excited crypto has a quick and free way to transact!

OTHER TIPS:
-I think its a one way to the wallet right now so maybe only send what you will spend at some point.

-there are only select stores where this works so check that too.

-At the register, have to ask them to run it as a gift card because the cashiers dont know they can accept bitcoin yet.

-With a little planning you can decide which cyrpto to use that day based on the market value. The Gemini dollar (GUSD) which is 1:1 to the US dollar is a stable coin so thats an option if coins are down.

System works great. It is solving the problem of having the ability to use crypto on your daily purchases.

Pro: easy to load and use

Con: once you load funds you cannot yet withdraw them, you have to spend it on a transaction. So don’t load it with more than you intend to spend in the short term.

The this app app powered by Flexa Payments LLC is a fantastic project that with hopefully be a catalyst for mainstream adoption of cryptocurrency and its use as a payment option. Flexa has a good thing going with this app, but I would like to see an update this this apps performance and wording. It needs to be made clear that not all stores will accept every cryptocurrency. Secondly, and lastly, I think companies whom own subsidiary brick-and-mortar stores should also be listed. I do not want to hunt to find out who owns what so I can decide if they may or may not be running the Flexa network. Overall, great project, but needs some improvements.

I’ve tried to use SPEDN at Chipotle, Barnes and Noble, and Baskin Robins. All with the same result. None could get it to work and all said I was the only person they have seen try. They all tried multiple ways of inputting the transaction as well. I should’ve known any app that allows you to send in money/crypto and not withdraw it was trouble. If I could give zero stars I would. Do yourself a favor and avoid SPEDN like the plague and don’t let it ruin your opinion of crypto. I will change this review if I can ever find a way to spend the crypto I put i to SPEDN in any way other than there “store” which offers some over priced t shirts and mugs that look like they were designed by a 5th grader. No chance I send my crypto there.

When I first downloaded this app I had high hopes for more adoption. Sadly some stores have been taken away over the past year (Lowe’s) and others. The biggest drawback is that once you transfer BTC into SPEDN you can’t get it back out other than spending it. I have reached out to support with no response so I am attempting to spend what I have left on SPEDN but using it at stores is VERY complicated. Most cashiers are clueless and are unable to process the transaction. I have high hopes for this app but with no support it’s hard to have much patience with them.. I would highly recommend NOT using SPEDN until they at least provide support.

SPEDN initially worked great. Suddenly, none of the businesses QR codes will load. Various error messages are generated. Also the business listing would keep changing (still not loading codes and getting errors). I’ve emailed support several times, provided screenshots, but not getting any response. Meanwhile, my funds are inaccessible...
I am a huge fan of the Flexa network, but annoyed and disappointed with SPEDN and lack of support at this time. I’ll update my rating when everything is fixed, and I have access to my currency again.

SPEDN is amazing! It allows you to spend crypto currencies like bitcoin, litecoin, and stable coins pegged to $1 like the Gemini dollar to seamlessly buy stuff at Dunkin Donuts, Petco, Nordstrom Rack, Lowe’s home improvement, all the movie theatres and adding many more soon! The guys behind SPEDN and the Flexa network are super talented and really care about democratizing payments and eliminating fees for all!!! 5 STARS BIG THINGS TO COME!!! Their native token AMP is also going to blow up!!!

I am loving Flexa, makes it easy to spend my crypto. For someone who earns an income in crypto and has the majority of their net worth in cryptocurrency it’s a blessing to have. The only thing it’s missing is more stores and other options like hotels! Once we start getting more options, this will be an even more useful application.

Love that i can now spend my crypto without having to cash out and send to my bank. From what i have read its still growing and looks awesome for the future, still very limited where it can be used but its a start

Great upgrades to SPEDN , simple easy to use. Now just stop being cute and give it a proper name.
What’s with the happy go lucky misspelled spend with this app, that’s not pronounceable word. It’s not memorable and it’s not easily understood by the user. Please give SPEDN a rebrand, it’s essential for its adoption. Cut the cuteness. Just constructive feedback send with passion to the crypto / dev space.

There are apps out there that allow users to spend their crypto. But the difficulties were always at the interaction with the merchants. SPEDN really makes it truly seamless from the merchants point of view. They just process the transaction like they would an Apple Pay payment. Great work!

I’ve been waiting for something serious like this for a long time. Their partnership with Gemini is a great achievement. People will be able to spend their crypto in major retailers like Starbucks, Whole Foods, etc. I am so excited to this huge coming adoption. World is changing with blockchain and cryptocurrencies. Congrats Gemini and Flexa !

This payment method has worked at Nordstrom and Top Golf! That’s awesome. However, I went to Alamo Drafthouse and they wouldn’t take it. They were also pretty rude about it there.

I wish they had grocery stores on here, that’s the most important thing for me. If they do add them and they actually accept this app as a form of payment then I could rate SPEDN 5 stars.

Everything else on here is not a necessity, “prioritize grocery stores”. Remove Alamo Drafthouse Cinema they are trash.

Kinda fun spending crypto that Went up a multiple of X’s and O’s
Hopefully, this lasts awhile and more stores get involved. Which will help it either last awhile, or go away quicker.
We’ll just have to wait and see.

I used crypto for the first time in stores using the this app app! The process was faster than using a credit card or using cash! Make sure you tell the cashier your paying with a “Gift Card” to make the process even faster!

Hello Flexa, can someone change the name of the “this app” app to “FLEXA”? FLEXA sounds a lot better and no confusion when traveling internationally. SPEDN should be named “Flexa” since it is using the Flexa network, it only makes sense right?

Very easy to use and fast! Haven’t had any issues and am looking forward to spending my crypto at many more locations!!! Thank you for this great payment experience! Highly recommend!!

There has a been a bug or two along the way but that’s to be expected. The developers work quickly to resolve those issues. Very satisfied!

Used it from my iPhone to buy something at Lowe’s. No problems.

I understand this is a proof of concept app and new versions / updates will be coming out soon.

Went to the movie theatre for the first time since the pandemic, and I paid for our tickets, food, and drinks all with my crypto! I literally just held my phone up and they scanned it. So easy.

Downloaded SPEDN , went to actually use it at least a week later (more like 2 really) and it said my account was still “under review” for spending. Isnt spending what SPEDN is for? No response from the help email on SPEDN yet (24 hrs.) I gave it 2 stars for being a good idea - would be nice to have it work or at least have the team respond to help requests. Helllooooooooo??!!
