I liked the app before the update

Since the update, it sends me 4 notifications at once when I only have 2 bills to be reminded of. and they get sent every few days, not when they’re close to being due. So I had to shut off notifications. Sometimes the days on the calendar are off for some reason and it’s confusing. I’m looking for a new app but this one works enough for now. Edit: I turned off notifications but they’re still coming in by fours so I’m looking for a new app and will delete this one today

Has potential, glitches make it unusable

If it weren’t for how buggy BillOrganizerBudgetPlanner is, this would be ideal. But god forbid I need to edit literally anything; categories, established reoccurring bills, anything. It freaks out and messes up the organization by marking bills as unpaid when I already marked them as paid. Or it tells me “the category already exists” as if I’m not editing the category and not creating a new one, but ok. I’ll literally delete a category and it will still tell me it exists. The glitches make BillOrganizerBudgetPlanner unusable. This is meant to help organize, but when it glitches like this, it defeats the entire purpose.

The new update took out a very important feature

When one of your bills goes past the due date, it sits in a section called overdue and does not allow you to tap on or edit the date, etc. It’s much more difficult now to track bills that may or may not have posted to your bank account because the only running total is on bills that are before the due date. I’ve reached out for help and I hope that they bring the old overview bills section back.

Loved it but….

I should’ve checked all the things BillOrganizerBudgetPlanner could do before I paid for the subscription. There is no way (that I could find) to split transactions into different categories for budgeting purposes. Also couldn’t enter in prices for that particular budget by itself. When I went to the help and support page (in BillOrganizerBudgetPlanner and in a browser), the page doesn’t exist. The “contact us” page doesn’t exist. That leaves me feeling a littler nervous as there’s no way to call or email with concerns or issues. Other than this, I really like how easy BillOrganizerBudgetPlanner was to set up and work in. Really disappointed and hope I can get my money back without an issue.

Wonderful but...

**UPDATE**
Sending an update to my review below...the developer promptly responded to my email concerns, which is a huge plus for me. However, a problem remains whereas I found out you cannot use BillOrganizerBudgetPlanner itself to delete a specific bill reminder, you must go online and from there select the Upcoming and Overdue tab, pick the bill you want to delete for the month, and it will prompt or says “delete this bill”. However, BillOrganizerBudgetPlanner itself only prompts delete “ALL” occurrences but the online version does otherwise, which is a serious glitch in my opinion. Once they fix this issue, I will be happy to rate 5 stars.

***
I’m really loving BillOrganizerBudgetPlanner! So far it has proven to have all the necessary features I’ve been looking for except the ability to skip a recurring bill reminder if nothing is due for the current month. When I try to delete the bill, it prompts me to “Delete ALL future occurrences of this repeat entry” and I don’t want to delete all occurrences, but only one occurrence. I submitted an email for help, and the developer quickly responded with suggestions to fix but for some reason it’s still not working. I really hope they fix this glitch right away. Once they do, I’ll be happy to revise my review.

Nice Looking App With Good Features

I wanted to test BillOrganizerBudgetPlanner out as an alternative to Chronicle. I love the look and feel of BillOrganizerBudgetPlanner as it is way more modern than Chronicle; however it lacks one feature that is a deal breaker for me. It does not have the ability to enter the URL of any specific bill and take directly there to actually pay the bill online. I would gladly pay for BillOrganizerBudgetPlanner if it had that feature alongside its current features. I also think there should be a lifetime option for other plans; and not just the basic one. Currently uninstalling and going back to Chronicle for now.

Great app

I love BillOrganizerBudgetPlanner! I normally don’t write reviews for apps but this is a great way to see how much credit card debt I have altogether, and I love how it tells you how much money you would have if you paid off all your credit card debt!

Decent replacement for Mint

I’ve test driven a couple dozen budgeting apps, searching for a Mint replacement. There are lots of things I like about BillOrganizerBudgetPlanner. Bank account linking worked well. It allows for zero-based budgeting (with balance rollover). It allows me to split transactions among multiple budget categories (though this feature was a little bit hidden). Speaking of categories, I could create my own and hide the ones I didn’t use, super helpful. Ability to make rules to auto-categorize similar transactions is great. Reasonably priced. I paid for mine and my wife and I share all finances, so she is linked to my account and just uses the free version on her phone. A couple drawbacks: I noticed is that we both have to hit the sync button to share our budgeting updates. Also, she can’t split transactions with her free version. All said, it seems worth the money.

Would get a 5 star if…

You could link certain bills through their website to showing what the bill actually is. Also, this needs to have badges added on top of the alerts, I’m more inclined to see a red notification than a banner alert. Make those changes @ developers!

Always Updating 🤗

It’s a good thing because I have been using BillOrganizerBudgetPlanner for years and they have come a long way. I was always very helpful to have a list of your bills in one place and I still love that feature. I have to figure out the added features but this developer has been very steady and shows they are in it for the long haul. It’s nice to have this when you have experienced app you love being sold or not updated after a certain amount of time.

Missed payments

UPDATE: After communicating with the developer, it seems my issue was related to an old bug. Hopefully the fix works long term and there aren’t anymore issues. Thank you!

ORIGINAL: I had set up a reminder to pay a credit card monthly, but this month’s alert is no where to be found! I missed a payment and now incurred a late fee. I looked in BillOrganizerBudgetPlanner and it’s in the history but distantly just stopped after a year. Unacceptable. Was great but this isn’t the first time I’ve had trouble. Looking for another app.

Almost perfect

There are many things I like about BillOrganizerBudgetPlanner! Although there are 2 features I think it’s severely lacking! One - is on the “bill” screen I really wish it showed when income was coming in! I get paid bi-weekly and I really enjoy seeing what is due before the next pay. Second is that you can link these accounts but they don’t automatically add to my bills? I definitely thought once I linked Timely would pull my statement and automatically add in the bill, how much was due and when! So far otherwise it is good but I might look for another option as I really want those features

Tip- let us customize our home screen

Love BillOrganizerBudgetPlanner. It helps remind me of my bills. I don't really use the expenses tracking, although I have in the past. I just personally don't need it all the time. my only tip is that it would be helpful to customize home screen. For example I don't use the cash or expense options. I wish I could make my home screen only bills.

Best Bills app available

I have been using BillOrganizerBudgetPlanner since May 2022 and it has really help me see where I am spending money. I put in every transcation I make everyday. It has really assisted me with adjusting my monthly budget on a monthly basis and plan for unexpected expenses. I really recommed BillOrganizerBudgetPlanner. One sugguestion to app a sections for paying off debt to keep track of your process. Thank you!

Love the app but…

I have been using BillOrganizerBudgetPlanner for about a year now and love it. I mostly use it to keep track of banking and bills. But after this new update I have noticed a slight bug that need fixed.

When viewing the calendar for the bills it seems to have miss communicated where the days the items are due. For example if I have a bill due on Oct 3rd it will look like the dot is on the 2nd. I cannot click on the dot for the 2nd but I can click on the empty space for the 3rd. Just very strange.

Hope you can fix this. It gets annoying thinking a bill is due on day x and it’s actually due on y.

MUST READ.

I enjoy BillOrganizerBudgetPlanner. Been using it for the past two, years and half years maybe and it’s always done me good. Well, when I first downloaded it and started using it a couple years ago I didn’t really worry too much about ads but as time progressed and updates occurred more ads started popping up but mainly every time you select save after setting your time between. Without really doing any kind of investigation I figured out a loophole. All you have to do is put your phone on airplane mode and then select save after your time between and you won’t deal with any ads. Before I discovered this trick I would exit BillOrganizerBudgetPlanner with out letting the ad finish but my time between would never save. This trick works. Me- 1 TB- 0 😛

My personal opinion

I personally feel like 5 stars isn’t a high enough rating for BillOrganizerBudgetPlanner BillOrganizerBudgetPlanner helps me manage all aspects of my finances and I don’t feel like I would be able to keep as close of track or keep from missing payments without BillOrganizerBudgetPlanner sending me reminders

Simple and easy

I love how simple BillOrganizerBudgetPlanner is and that all the information is entered manually. I hate connecting accounts to different apps because there’s a safety issue and I usually experience glitches. I don’t have that problem with BillOrganizerBudgetPlanner. Only issue is that bills set to autopay still show as overdue unless I mark them paid.

Very happy

I have looked for a good budget app for over a year. Some how I missed this one until now. I’ve tried several different ones but was not satisfied. I’ve finally found the right one. This does everything I was hoping for and more. Excellent app!

Organized and Easy

BillOrganizerBudgetPlanner is so easy and very organized to use. Simple but efficient. I love how it remind me a couple days before my due to of an upcoming bill. It’s also shows you how much money you will need for your bills monthly or weekly. That’s a preference the user choses
