Tricount - Split group bills Reviews

I absolutely love Tricount. I truly believe it’s saved my relationship. My fiancée and I were always fighting about money and who paid for what and who owed who. Tricount makes it so easy. With each purchase I just input the amount and what the purchase was for and if it’s something that we should split I just check both our names. If a purchase that just he makes then I can enter the info and just check his name. It keeps up with both our money and separates our shared bills and purchases as well as keeps track of individual purchases. Absolutely amazing app. No annoying graphs or linking your accounts. It’s absolutely amazing. I’d give it 10 stars if that was an option.

I am traveling on vacation with my siblings and we were really worried about how we would split costs and reconcile our expenses. But Tricount makes the process SO INCREDIBLY EASY!! It has everything we want-equal cost shares, customized splits, currency conversions, cloud storage and sharing, and the ability to exclude someone from an expense. When all is said and done, 3 of us will owe the fourth sibling differing amounts of money and we’ll send the final amount via Venmo. I don’t know what I would have done without Tricount. I LOVE Tricount! ❤️❤️❤️

Tricount has some issues after subscribing to the monthly plan. It says my premium plan is valid and the premium icon is shown in the top right corner but I still receive ads. I also cannot contact the team about the issue in Tricount because it is a premium feature. When I tap ‘Contact our team’ under Help, it asks me to sign up for premium… and when I press Ok, it takes me to a screen letting me know I am subscribed. I really hope they resolve this frustrating issue. Especially seeing the ads after paying.

I changed my review score because Tricount has good customer support and I found that using a VPN causes some issues validating my subscription. Would still be nice if this was worked out :)

Went on a vacation with friends and instead of constantly venmoing we were able to just throw expenses in Tricount and do it all at once in the end. Super easy and convenient to use. Started using with my roommates and we just pay back our balances at the end of each month. Overall a great and genius app!

This is a really powerful app when it comes to distribute costs and keeping track of it. There’s just one or two things they could enhance, for example recognizing the same person over several lists, so there’s an overall balance and not all separated.

I use often the premium services, but not enough to pay for a subscription. Before, one had the option to upgrade each trip by paying 1$. Now if one wants premium services, one need to buy a subscription, which I do not need. I understand the need to make money, but I will look for apps that charge for premium services on a trip-basis.

this app is an essential tool to keep accounting clear and friendships long. Love it.

it would breat to have a feature of shared quick notes where one can jot down items pending to be added to this app once one finds the receipt or corroborates the amount.

Tricount is extremely simple to use and was very helpful for several of my group trips. Helped to keep track of smaller payments which are usually missed (either because its too embarrassing to split or just slipped out of our minds)

My siblings and I have used this application for our common expenses very successfully for the past couple of years.

I knocked off a star because describing an expense is difficult considering the restrictive size of the Title field (20 characters).

I suggest that a Note area be added to allow a longer description of the expense or payment.

Tricount has totally changed how we do expenses when we travel. No more painful splitting of bills! No more multi-card checks at a restaurant! Sharing cabs is so easy! I love me some this app. Thanks for everything!

this app is a great app I have been using for a long time. It is straightforward, easy to use, easy to share.
Lately I am having problems using it though, Tricount crashes as soon as I open it. I have the latest version and nothing works. I would love to be able to reuse Tricount!

So far i use it a couple times, Road trip with some friends and family, it is the best to keep all the expenses, and keep control of who Owes who! Excelent!!!!

Would be better if Tricount can see spending statistics by month or week! that would be very helpful for users like roommates who want to know how much they spend this month!

I love it. So simple. Looks clean and it is just works intuitively for me.

Can we please add auto sync after adding and removing items? I notice that I must manually sync everytime.

Telling literally everybody about Tricount. It’s exactly what we needed to track expenses. Way better than making a spreadsheet. You can add, share, and see who owes who with EASE. I LOVE Tricount.

Nifty app!

Would more granular notifications be possible? It would be very handy to subscribe to a list or only be notified of expenses that you’re apart of.

I recommend it to manage any expenses shared with other people. I uploaded it just for a road trip but since then, I used even with my roommates and personal expenses...great App!

I tried using Tricount , liked it. It’s really buggy though. Crashed a couple times. Doesn’t refresh as expected and renaming individuals on groups don’t work. So I guess I won’t be using Tricount for now

We enjoy the ease of keeping taps on expenses during our trip abroad with friends.

A lot is missing. A looooooooot. And the way you want to make us pay 0,99 for a tiny upgrade which is beyooooond nothing compared to what you can improve. So sad

If I can suggest, make it multi currency would be nice

It seems like this app does not accept online login any more and force you to download Tricount anyway. I don’t find it user friendly and it’s a long setup process for an app I will delete in 5 minutes
