Thought I’d try it out but really unusable. It’s slow and not well made as many things don’t even work, I’m on an iPhone 15 pro. Deleted.

Good concept but AmiGoTravel itself is pretty bad to the point that it’s unusable at this stage. It’s very slow and the filters don’t work at all. The locations are sometimes inaccurate. I was going to use it for a recent trip but I eventually gave up on it due it’s usability issues.

It’s a handy app but really wish there was a desktop version so that you could build your trip “on the big screen” and then be able to be on the go with AmiGoTravel .

Amigo has a great concept, but needs much better execution. All the features are exactly what I want a travel app to do, but none work well enough to use IRL.
Populating trips w potential destinations is extremely time consuming, and actually not worth doing, since it’s almost impossible to see all of your “wishlist” in one place.
The feature I wanted to love most is the map with pins showing all scheduled or “wishlist”-ed destinations, so that I could easily see what was nearby, and visit them as my schedule allows. I didn’t realize until I tried to use the map on my first Amigo-assisted trip that the map doesn’t have enough detail to see where the destinations are, outside of their general neighborhood/vicinity, certainly no turn by turn assistance or even a name/listed address.
Lastly, unless you’re ready to schedule your entire itinerary, sharing “wishlist”-ed destinations with your “Amigos” is impossible.

Amigo! Please hire some great developers! I don’t care at all about influencer/sponsored content and bland suggestions, I really want your tech to work - it’s so close to being exactly what I am looking for!

I don’t know if it’s my phone or AmiGoTravel but I’ve had AmiGoTravel for eight hours and it’s been very frustrating, not very user friendly and lacking a lot of basic destinations or venues. I’ve even found some pretty lame spelling mistakes. I guess because it was invite only I thought it would be top tier. It has not been this far and my time is too precious to waste on slow, less than optimal apps. Disappointed.

Love it. Just wish it ran faster as the load time on browse and photo upload is a bit pesky.

AmiGoTravel is incredibly helpful. It helps you plan any trip in advance but the excellent map feature enables you to also make plans on the go. I have used in several countries and the recommendations have been consistently excellent. Very reliable. Download AmiGoTravel now!!!

I absolutely love using Amigo when I travel. It has the best recommendations and is super easy to use. I love having my recommended restaurants, shops, museums, etc all in one place. I plan to use AmiGoTravel for all of my future trips!!!!

I use a lot of apps and do heavy research and planning before traveling, and AmiGoTravel saves me soooo much time and saves me from reading through random reviews from people I don’t know that have different tastes and lifestyles than I do. Finally AmiGoTravel i’ve been waiting for!

I have been waiiiiting for an app like this! I always forget the great places I go when I travel and this makes it SO easy to log and share it! Also it alllows me to get recs from my friends with great taste, not the randos on Yelp/TripAdvisor!

An absolute must-have ! AmiGo is such an amazing app for trusted recs all over the world, and I love how I can keep track of all the places I've been and find inspiration for future trips - even for local spots near me!

I love AmiGoTravel so far! It’s really fun to use and to add your own recommendations of your favorite spots. I like using it to make wish lists for my future travels too. AmiGoTravel feels that it is just people who love to travel, leaving honest reviews and recommendations. It’s like asking your friends for their travel recs, but everything (and everywhere) is all in one spot.

I love AmiGoTravel. It’s a Godsend in travel planning! So easy to use and such a breath of information on restaurants hotels and area attractions! A must download for any traveler!
