I never write reviews of anything but I must for this one. Latest update: unusable and UI weirdly bloated- cumbersome to navigate. Simply trying to sign up for a class, continues not to work and I receive only error messages. I think the developers have forgotten that for the majority of people, this location is a still primarily a gym. I was mildly eager for this update as I was hoping that by signing up for a class it would create a calendar event, but it appears not to have added that feature. Equinox app has had that capability for years. Please streamline this and/or fix the bugs. It would be especially helpful if app had capability to focus only on fitness and not all the lifestyle/family fluff for those of us uninterested. Thank you.

Bay Club bought our club and now we are subjected to this ridiculous app. In order to book tennis you have to have a “buddy list.” When a person adds me to their list I get a notification to go to BayClubConnect to accept the buddy invitation and each and every time there is nothing there! This is a classic example of taking something that could be very simple and just gumming it up with too many ineffective/unneeded steps all in the name of . . . what? . . . progress? Yeah, no. Avoid!!!

I sincerely hate BayClubConnect. Bay Club took over Club Sport in Oregon and forced us to switch to this terrible platform (Club Sport has a great app!) BayClubConnect is unresponsive in several spots (Classes) and there are many spots you have to double tap, which I’ve never experienced in an app. There’s no embedded hamburger menu for navigation. The events are buried under a Classes main menu. There’s no way to get back once you’ve accessed a sub-menu. You have to close BayClubConnect all together and restart.

Signed up earlier this week and will be cancelling my membership soon. App is horrendously unusable, won’t even load the class schedule of their main location, is 90% ads for camps and add ons (I don’t have a kid like most members). Quite disappointed, felt like I was led astray. The whole operation feels like a failing organization with outdated everything squeezing every last dollar out of its customers. Please let an Equinox move in soon. 🙏🏻

I would give BayClubConnect minus 5 stars if I could. BayClubConnect used to be good at one point until a few months back when they started upgrading BayClubConnect and it has become unstable, unusable and very annoying!! It now loads classes from all locations and doesn’t filter based on my club, doesn’t find my club name, freezes, etc etc. Bay club needs to find a skilled development team and fix BayClubConnect NOW!!! BayClubConnect and the club are deteriorating everyday!

BayClubConnect isn't ready for prime time. Way too many bugs. For instance, if you view an invoice, there is no way to get back to BayClubConnect . BayClubConnect is pretty useless right now. I'm really surprised the events and class schedule isn't native in BayClubConnect (why would they redirect you to their website)? For a multi-million dollar company with thousands of members and in the tech capital of the world, I am quite surprised that this is BayClubConnect that they released. Although, that seems to be the Bay Club way...over-promise and under-deliver.

It’s almost 2025 and you still can’t fix this usability issue. When you make a new card booking, it doesn’t show up on the booking screen. You have to do trickery, like restarting BayClubConnect or switching through multiple screen screens for the booking to show up. Shame on the developers and testers who allow such a poor user experience after multiple updates.

If anything will drive me away from Pro Club, it is BayClubConnect. For 30 years as Pro Club member, BayClubConnect has caused more aggravation than any time with Pro Club that I can remember. It is a chore to reserve classes, so much so that it motivates you to just dump BayClubConnect and show up for classes without reservation.

Sending feedback directly thru BayClubConnect has not resulted in any improvements.

Pro Club is located in the Cloud Mecca of the world. Please, please get a real development team and fix BayClubConnect and the backend so that your members can focus on their health instead of twiddling with BayClubConnect .

I’m not sure how this is adding value. I’m sure it’s helping their sales team with data collection. But given it isn’t actually a functional app it’s pointless - every link redirects to a URL. None of the childcare options can be booked and it doesn’t appear to have any info about what’s on at our home club. It’s easier to look at Google app which has a direct link to my class timetable and doesn’t require login. Deleting and reverting to swiping my card. Either do apps properly or don’t do them - as any tech company will tell you. Just looks embarrassing for a company trying to capture a Silicon Valley market.

Like everything else done by this club management recently, this is third rate. We used to have a perfectly functional court reservation system, were you could view and reserve courts in a few clicks. Now we have this dysfunctional app. Now after painful navigation and a million clicks, you don’t even have a calendar view, nor a court availability view, you need to send an invite for someone else to confirm, get tgem to join a “buddy list”, and in the end it will just fail to work at all. Ill conceived, botched implementation, never tested. Just call the club instead.

I have got 5 issues with BayClubConnect within 3 months:
1. The front desk help to send a message to clarify dues, then I got an email asking me to fill out a form to unsubscribe the membership.
2. I got internal error when I tried to set my credit card on file to enable recurring payment.
3. I got error when I tried to add either bank account or debit card. After I sent a message, the email said they need help from backend.
4. I was charged late fees because they didn’t charge my credit card, which worked for 10 months fine before switching to BayClubConnect, also worked fine after they said there was an issue.
5. After I told them about the late fees, they charged the late fee again, which might because they misunderstood my question (see the 1st question in this list) and they failed auto payment earlier.

Basically on my side, I didn’t do anything wrong, and on their side they keep make mistakes and charged me because of their mistakes.

It works well and allows me to see my statement, change my payment type and pay my bill! Never had any technical issues myself except being logged out here and there but that’s not a big deal.

BayClubConnect keeps everything you need for my membership all in one place. It’s easy to navigate and so much quicker and more advanced than other gym apps belonging to gyms I’ve personally been a member to (like lifetime and LA Fitness). Reserving is easy, checkin is quick no waiting to scan in like slower apps I’ve had to deal with. Most importantly, they are always using it to comunicate the cool events and free stuff that they are always doing for their members.

Great app! I can now see all my charges on my bill in real time and pay my bill at a click of a button and update my card at anytime, no need to call or go into the club.
I also love the fact that I can scan my app to go into the club, no need to carry a membership card anymore!

Love the new Apple Watch functionality and improvements to the phone app.

I go to the gym without my Phone and need the Watch app fixed to run standalone. My barcode becomes grayed out when the phone isn’t nearby. I would assume others need this too. Please also consider to add more info to the watch app.

Would love more integration with Apple Health with fitness equipment and BayClubConnect in general. Keep up the good work.

Used Connect to find summer camp information and to sign up my kids. It was so easy and quick! I wish all my kids activities were that simple.

BayClubConnect has improved greatly over the last few months. It brings value to the in club experience and it’s super convenient.

BayClubConnect is simple and straight-forward and it’s easy to book classes and see my bill. I scan in with it, charge to my account, and keep track of my bookings without any issues!

The Bay Club Connect app is amazing. I can literally do everything I need to do on BayClubConnect . I can add new members at great rates!I can pay my bill, sign up for classes, book squash, and tennis courts. The Bay Club loves to make life easy for us members and that’s why we love them!

BayClubConnect is easy to use and functional. I’m able to check in, check my statements, and look at upcoming events and group ex classes! I can also book for tennis and squash courts right on BayClubConnect which is very convenient.
