I guess by giving BikeGPS one star today after downloading it and trying it my hopes will be the developer responds and provides the method to access the map which it shows in BikeGPS search screen. But that option is nowhere to be found going through all the settings or layers options of the map of BikeGPS . So correct that please if you’re trying to scam people out of money by making them upgrade to the pro just to get that, that’s pretty pathetic and is illegal. The tactic is known as bait and switch.

I really like the interface of BikeGPS and locally saved maps with detailed trip statistics. But the GPS tracking is very inaccurate. I've compared it against other tracking apps including Google maps on couple of short trips and it was way off on the distance traveled. For example, while the other apps showed accurate 4.5 mile trip BikeGPS was showing 1.3 miles. Its been consistently off by at least 1.5-2.5 miles on each trip. Please fix the GPS accuracy and I would be willing to pay for the Pro version.

I just started riding about a month ago, and this FREE app did a great job tracking my miles and my times... UNTIL TODAY.
I hit the START button like I always do, and it immediately jumped to the ad to buy the full version for $5.99 ( which I don’t want/need ). I hit the X in the corner to close the ad, hit START again - AND IT TOOK ME BACK TO THE AD TO BUY THE FULL VERSION. After clicking the X to close the ad about 10 times, I figured I better find another bike app. It was fun/free while it lasted... I guess nothing is free.

BikeGPS is alright. The problem with BikeGPS is when you take a break in the middle of your ride and you press pause. If too much time has passed (like 20 minutes), and you press continue ride… BikeGPS acts like it is continuing but doesn’t. You don’t realize until after you finish riding. This has happened on several occasions

I’ve been trying to find a simple app that shows live stats and also shows the map while riding. I love the layout and simplicity of BikeGPS . If the map feature can be added to the main screen while riding, even if it was a one time paid feature, it’d be worth it to me. It already shows the map at the end, but this is such a missed opportunity. If this feature can be added, BikeGPS would be perfect!!
Also super minor, add the ability to change the font. The digital font can be hard to read sometimes at a quick glance.

Used BikeGPS for a year without a single issue. Today, for some reason, or prompted me to sign in again and when I did (through FB) BikeGPS froze up and became non-functional. I cannot access past rides, log a new ride, view settings, or anything else. It totally bricked on me which is super disappointing. This is on an iphone 11 Pro. I'm giving three stars since it used to be 5 and now it's 1. Hopefully developer will see this and help troubleshoot. When it was working I loved BikeGPS .

I think BikeGPS has some great potential. It offers a variety of stats that have really helped me oversee my bike rides and their benefits.
I was about to pay for the upgrade but first I both emailed and messaged the developer to find out if there was a “calories burned” option like other apps are offering. The developer has never gotten back to me so I’m not so likely to pay for an app that isn’t actively supported.

I really liked BikeGPS. I had it for a long o long time and used it to track my rides on one of my bikes. You can actively look at your speed, distance traveled and other parameters. You can also look at your history as well.
Just last month BikeGPS stopped working. It will freeze a few seconds after opening BikeGPS . I tried to contact the developer but was unable to.

BikeGPS works OK so I decided to buy it for more control and storage. Somehow I ended up in Strava website and they have none of my information. They want five dollars per month that they won’t get from me.
WHAT DID I JUST PAY FOR?
The Bike GPS website on Windows does absolutely nothing. None of the “contact us“ links work at all. As for the iPhone app itself I did find one error, on the Compass one of the directions says NWN and it should read NNW.

Excellent accurate tracker; easy to use.
A couple issues:
- when I updated to paid version it let me record more tracks and customize, but never gave me any polite confirmation of my purchase.
- BikeGPS (as usual) appears on my iPhone and iPad but appears to have no way to sync my account between the two devices.
- I can’t send my full trip info via E- mail; the map is in .gps format; my previous tracker exported .kml files, which can be saved in Google Earth Pro with embedded time, speed and distance info.

I cancelled my subscription to BikeGPS after about 1+ years. I like a lot of the features but the accuracy is off from my Garmin sometimes by as much as 2/10 per mile i trust my Garmin far more than BikeGPS for distance. I sent a request asking the developers to make it so the big center readout to change to distance. I don’t care about time. I ride for distance and the smaller readout is hard to see. They have not done this so I cancelled.

I do love BikeGPS for everything that it offers! I think it’s the simplest to use out of the others on BikeGPS Store, BUT that simplicity means a lot of shortcomings…
•the speedometer is not always accurate
•it’d be cool to “playback” the trip. Even if it’s just a dot moving showing where you were & how fast you were going

Push start, then stop, and everything I would want to know is automatically saved. I push myself a little harder each time because I’m competing with my previous rides, all right there when I open BikeGPS .
The only thing I’d like to see added is an option to automatically pause when I stop; sometimes I pause because I’ve taken a minute to read a trail map and forget to restart it.
Overall, it’s easy and well worth it to use BikeGPS for rides, and even walks or hikes.

I think I like BikeGPS a lot. The fields appealed to me which is why I downloaded. Though, your survey is too soon. Before I could review the results of my first ride, your app blocked any progression until I completed your survey. I understand the importance of feedback and data to place further focus on your product. I feel this data point is of no value to either of us.

It seems to be pretty good at captioning data I wish I had a mount for it so I could maybe get video I don’t know if BikeGPS will do video as well be and I just started using I don’t know anything about it but so far it has a lot of information there on the front screen

My ebike controller doesn’t work so great so I was thinking about replacing/upgrading it but was not happy with my options. Then I found BikeGPS and wow! It does it all VERY well. Extremely impressed. I bought the upgrade more as a “thank you” to the devs than for what it does.

I started with the free version of BikeGPS. Upgraded soon after. It is easy to use and provides great summary data at the end of the ride. I start it up at the beginning of my ride. I save at the end of my ride and rename the trip. No need to mess with it while riding. Best way to stay safe!

Clean, simple, and not filled with ads (even the free version). I would like to see the trip list on the main screen, but overall it’s a really great app, well done on keeping it simple. Bought the full version because it’s reasonably priced and wanted to support the developer.

It has a lot of great information like your average speed max speed distance a compass and more. The interface is easy to use and it is very accurate. It tracks past rides and shows you where you have traveled. I also get little to no ads. I am amazed this is free.
10/10 would recommend

Yay! I finally found an awesome FREE bike tracker app. The large easy to read screen and VOICE MILES UPDATES miles updates is just what a cyclist needs. I lost track of the exact miles between intermittent senior dog walks before discovering the perfect bike tracker app.
Other bike tracker apps don’t offer free voice miles updates.

One trip measured in miles the next in feet
Not sure why and can’t find any instructions on BikeGPS or online

I love BikeGPS . It is simple and works. But it doesn’t have Apple health integration which makes it useless for me.
by Justinosu
I like BikeGPS it looks good but it doesn’t calculate distance correctly. I ride an 8 mile circuit and it reports a little over 2 miles. Other biking apps on my iPhone and my Apple Watch calculate the distance correctly. If the distance was fixed I would give BikeGPS 5 stars.
by Ned2fix
It has the correct date, but wrong day. Tried to reset BikeGPS ... no go.
by Dennis C. Michael
Perfect bike computer, simple, keeps records of your rides just not big on sharing them, hence 4 stars.
by Qetyufdd
Please add the ability to edit the total distance.
Thanks

No frills just hit start and go. Wish they would display how long I have been riding, time wise. That’s why I couldn’t give it 5 stars.
by Flakattack
Just getting started with BikeGPS. Tried another app but did not like. Have it to compare with computer on bike. I like initial results and will comment further once more familiar with. Bike on! F4J
by Domi-X
BikeGPS deserves a 5 stars review, but I’m having an issue; it drains the battery super quick, on a 12-mile run(h2:30) my phone battery was at 86% by the time I was done the phone was completely dead. Maybe something the developers can work on fixing? Thank you again, no other complains with BikeGPS .
by Jfz260
Just wish the print was in a bolder font. I need my reeders when I ride!
by Holy Cow A Talking Duck
I love all the things BikeGPS can do! The GPS on the map route is so accurate that you can even tell which side of the road you are on. I only have the free version, but it does all I need. Thanks for such a great app!

Love the look, the layout and all the rest
by Rrossi65
Like the day/night mode so you can actually SEE while riding! Also the maps after you’ve ridden.
