So I’ve had these lights for a while, along with LEDLAMP , and it’s worked fine for months, and I’ve never had to reconnect them before But as of a few days ago, I now have to manually reconnect them every time I open LEDLAMP . It’s really annoying, and it used to work perfectly fine. Please fix your app!!

Update: I deleted LEDLAMP and redownloaded it and now it’s even worse; once I get it connected I have to reconnect it to change the color, because for whatever reason as soon as I click on a color and it changes, it disconnects

Everything about LEDLAMP is great. I just have one query. I wanted to make a shortcut that automatically turned on or off my lights. However, there was no shortcuts from LEDLAMP , so that's the only feature that I really want. If you could make a few shortcuts for your app that turned on or off the LED lights that would be great. Another suggestion I had for shortcuts would be to make the LED lights a certain color or brightness. That's all, thank you in advance.

First off rate LEDLAMP not your light kit. 2nd those having issues connecting. You don’t use the iOS Bluetooth settings to pair with the lights. You go into the iOS app setting and give permission for LEDLAMP to use Bluetooth. Then open LEDLAMP without trying to pair to the lights. Follow the instructions because LEDLAMP itself does the scanning and controls connection.

Overall it was okay,
When I first got them I tried them out and they were surprisingly bright! I got them app and hooked it up, but it didn’t work. Also when I plugged them in and put it on a random color, say white, some of the sections on the strip would be a different color like purple. So, if I wanted them to be on white some of it would be purple while the rest is white. Hey f that makes sense. To sum it all up, they are “okay” it does have some problems that can be easily fixed but other then that it’s good!

It's a bare bones app, I've used it on a few projects and recently realized it might need better instructions for those of us downloading it in English. IF you follow the instructions, the LED DMX seems to work just fine. The first time I used it I tried to do it 'my way' and connect to the lighting fixture with Bluetooth BEFORE letting LEDLAMP do its thing. . . So I just deleted LEDLAMP and started over.

1) Turn on bluetooth - do not connect to any LED DMX devices.
2) I installed LEDLAMP - I did NOT allow connect to images or videos - but I did allow Bluetooth.
3) turn on my physical LED DMX devices
4) press LED DMX in LEDLAMP . It shows the devices it can find ( in my case 2 )

Enjoy ( or not ) scrolling through a million options of DMX controls. Again. It's bare bones but works.

Update, after the latest update I no longer am able to connect to my lights. One star because zero is impossible.

As the title says. It is a rather cool app. Gives me control of the rgb halo on my lightbar. Only real problems I have had are connection reliability and the music NEEDS playlist support! I CANNOT be searching through every song on my device every time I want to use the light show feature on my lightbar. If this is updated I would buy more of these style lightbars. Otherwise the search continues for a lightbar with a better app. Overall good app with very few major bugs.

LEDLAMP does the most basic function of turning the lights off and on, however it doesn't save my
custom colors and I have to remake them if I want to use them again. I also wasn't sure if it was possible to access a library of music other than the given, and if it is, it hasn't been shown available to me. I don't mind having to press the connect when I open it (I expected that) so that's whatever to me. It does the function but it isn't an enjoyable time when I use LEDLAMP .

Not sure what other’s issues are. I installed LEDLAMP , it immediately connected to my in vehicle LEDs after I allowed LEDLAMP permission to access Bluetooth connects. Works flawlessly, colors change immediately in response to app input. I’ve already recommended the lights to others because of their low cost, ease of installation and ease of use.

Product is great! Came with all hardware! But LEDLAMP is hard to figure out. Took about 2 hours before giving up and just using provided remote. After you power up remote, and basically “sync” everything. LEDLAMP works just fine! But I would suggest to app developers to make LEDLAMP more user friendly. Possibly adding a few more controls options. LIKE TURNING THE MAIN LIGHTS OFF AND ON!!! 😐😐 please make app better

LEDLAMP has worked perfectly fine for me with my LEDs, I used the led ble spection of LEDLAMP for my car LEDs. My only complaint is on the music setting where the lights flash with my music, i can't pick what music i want to play. LEDLAMP has a custom queue for the music so it only plays around 7 songs that i don't own. I wish i was able to play music from my apple music library and pick whatever i'd like to play.

I’ve had the LED strip for 2 years and it worked well providing light. I could deal with the fact that every update reset my custom colors, which wasn’t terribly often. However, the latest update doesn’t even allow me to connect to the strip at all anymore. I am having to use the I clouded remoter to turn it on and off and if and when it resets, I will lose the color that I have it programmed as. I will have to look into another solution and that’s why I’d discourage the purchase of this product at this time until LEDLAMP is fixed

This was a gift. I loaded LEDLAMP and it worked ONCE then completely locked up the phone and has never worked again even with a complete reload. This has dropped something in the device that prevents it from ever working even though its deleted and reloaded.

I loaded it on an iPad and the exact thing happened.. it worked once, LEDLAMP locked up and refuses to load again even with a delete and reload. I am going to figure out who to email at Apple to report this since it seems to leave something behind once deleted

LEDLAMP itself is confusing and there’s not a lot of info on how to work it, and that needs improvement. But while using the remote, it isn’t that bad. I just wish you could customize on the remote (especially since my app isn’t working right now). It didn’t take that long, and it was easy to set up. Overall I give it a 3 out of 5, because it TRULY could be better, and more understanding.

Lights work great, better than expected, but LEDLAMP is completely inconsistent. I downloaded LEDLAMP , turn the lights on before I opened LEDLAMP , then opened LEDLAMP and it worked. I tuned my lights to how I wanted them and closed LEDLAMP . The next time I opened LEDLAMP it froze and crashed. I retried opening LEDLAMP and it kept freezing and crashing, so I deleted and re-downloaded LEDLAMP and it is a hit or miss with it. Sometimes it connects to the lights and works that one time, but most times it just freezes. I’m unhappy with LEDLAMP and now my lights are stuck in the last mode I set it to.

I’m not sure why other users complained, I have used LEDLAMP multiple times. I just plug the lights in,start LEDLAMP , wait 2sec for the lights to connect, and they worked just fine. But then again I’m only using cycle mode, nothing fancy. I will update again if it fails, but so far, I think these are great!

LEDLAMP was awful to begin with. Nothing worked, it was incredibly slow to connect. Each click took minutes to process. Then after a few uses it froze my phone. I was unable to restart it or open any other apps. Awful experience. Ended up eventually being able to hard reboot after it almost calling the police twice due to the phone not registering the button clicks. Don’t download or you’ll possibly get hacked.

Now Google on safari doesn’t work. I think LEDLAMP hacked me.

First time trying light strips with bluetooth and an app for control.. Followed directions exactly.. iPhone with latest iOS and/or LEDLAMP never even detect the lights, so there’s no way to use LEDLAMP .. Deleted app and tried a 2nd time... same results.. lights flash but either don’t send out a Bluetooth signal or maybe I got a defective unit...but other 1 star ratings make me think not. The included remote from my purchase, works to control the light strips, so I guess I’ll keep them... but not LEDLAMP, because it simply doesn’t work. 😠👎🏻

Honestly had hard time in the beginning didn’t read the instructions but after i did had no issues connecting the Bluetooth and the reaction time on the rock pod lights is on the money mahalo 🤙🏽. now gotta show all the truck owners that I installed the rock pod lights in how to work LEDLAMP lol guess everybody not reading the instructions

LEDLAMP works well all around except for one thing - the timer setting, I’m not a fan of the way it is set up, and also I am confused about the run button on that screen. I have yet to get my lights working on the timer correctly but I will continue to make attempts and hope for the best. But seriously guys, just improve the timer screen. Oh yeah also the purple lighting is pretty close to a black light, pretty sweet dude.

Can you guys please update LEDLAMP because my headlights are not connecting properly only the lights in my car are connecting automatically headlights are not popping up like the Bluetooth connection is not strong enough I didn’t pay 300 dollars for my merchandise to partially work please please please fix this ASAP

When LEDLAMP works it’s on. Definitely has some modes other don’t but LEDLAMP keeps crashing. If I uninstall and reload from the AppStore it loads once. Get out of LEDLAMP and try to go back in crash every time.

Update: if your app crashes go in settings look for led lamp and deny access to the music library. I don’t know if it is because I use iCloud library but the moment I shut access to music off LEDLAMP starts correct every time.

The lights are great , I had problems in the beginning but figured out that I had to let the Bluetooth come to me , instead of me going straight to Bluetooth , everything seems to be working fine now ,be nice to have someone to contact for some little questions about that App ,the lights are Quality build very sealed, gotta work on LEDLAMP 😎

I plugged in the lights and was very satisfied for about 10 minutes until they broke. I did not tamper with them. I took them out of the package and stuck them to the bottom of the dashboard in my car and they worked fine until I started messing with LEDLAMP , then they broke and there is no phone number provided for technical support. The instructions just say “please contact us if there are any issues” but I can’t contact them. I spent 17$ on these lights and feel like I should get a refund or a replacement.

Had no app related problems. I even cut and soldered strip to wire 14 connections and LEDLAMP controlled every single one in progression. As far as I can tell every feature works properly and I could not be more pleased being able to control these lights from my phone/tablet.

Not sure what all the bad reviews are about. The lights works great. Could be a little brighter but they looks awesome. LEDLAMP controls and does everything I need it to do and everything it says it will do. I have an iPhone and I have no complaints with the iOS app

To you guys saying it’s crashing/ not working make sure your phone & apps up to date then restart your phone.

Installed the lights on my w205 two months ago, no issues since

I liked these lights very much and loved how I was able to make custom light patterns. I don’t know when but now it doesn’t work anymore; the custom light pattern doesn’t work all it does it flash one light color over an over again. I’m really disappointed because I bought these lights for that specific reason but now LEDLAMP is trash and doesn’t work anymore.

Why does this led light remote app need access to all of my photos, number and other important information? I’m giving this a 3 stars because LEDLAMP does ask for information you don’t need but it still functions correctly.

The lights work great, but I’d like to know how to control it with LEDLAMP . I can connect it to the Bluetooth just fine, and get the lights to turn on, but I can’t seem to control the lights with LEDLAMP . I’ve tried uninstalling it and then installing it again and LEDLAMP just seems like a waste of time I’d much rather have a control. Probably gonna be returning this light strip. WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.
