Our dog was injured while camping and no nearby vets or emergency facilities could accept new patients. We just needed someone to let us know if it was big enough emergency to drive 40 minutes and wait 3 hours at a clinic or if we could wait until morning to take him to our primary vet. After downloading 4 other apps that all either crashed or took 15 minutes to try to navigate and ultimately left me so frustrated!!! I found this option. Set up was super clear as easy, took a couple minutes and we were talking live with a vet within 5 minutes!!! She was super compassionate to our concern and set our minds at ease that the injury was minor and could certainly wait and have us instructions to wrap the injury and keep clean using our first aid kit. She was totally right and by the end of the night the injury was already much better and our dog was happy as could be. For pure convenience and ease of use during a critical time, this is a GREAT APP!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’ve never felt compelled to write an app review but my dog was diagnosed with an issue and was scheduled for surgery on Monday. Before getting such a serious surgery I really wanted a second option. After a quick google search I found Airvet and within 2 minutes was on a FaceTime call with Stepahnie Lantry. Words can’t describe how amazing she was! She walked me through everything, re examined him, went through his current medications and discussed what her strategy would be given his circumstances. I hung up and called my parents to tell them how great my experience was and how I now feel less anxiety about his surgery. She wasn’t watching the clock or anything and genuinely cared and was extremely knowledgeable. BTW this cost only $30!! I hope I never have to use this service again and that my dog remains healthy honestly but what a great idea and great doctor! If I do ever have any problems this will be the first thing I do! Thank you guys!!!

In our anxiety we didn’t catch the vet’s name, but we’re very grateful for his review - thoughtful, knowledgeable, thorough and helpful!! He answered every question we had with patience and explained everything clearly, even when it took me a bit to understand something. He was careful to make sure our dog’s regular vet would feel supported and not challenged. He also surprised us by saying he’d like to hear how the change made impacted the situation during the next three days while the case is open. Again, we could tell that wasn’t a challenge to our regular vet but clearly was a professional concern to help our dog. Much appreciated, and how wonderful to be able to get help with a big problem this weekend.

Tried to use Airvet this morning. When a vet became available, Airvet sat on the “Connecting” screen indefinitely... after four minutes of nothing I ended the call. Noticed that the case view in Airvet showed a pending $30 charge. Attempted to email support through Airvet ’s built-in “Contact Support” feature to request a refund, but that didn’t work either, so I copied down the support email and contacted them manually.

[Update] Within a few hours of posting this review, I got a phone call from customer support ensuring me that they would be issuing a refund that I could expect in 3-5 days. They also took the time to walk through the “Contact Support” bug with me and collect info/screenshots so the bug could be addressed. Appreciate the quick/attentive response, so I’m increasing my rating to 3/5 stars. Will update again if I ever successfully use the service.

In Northern California most vets don’t take emergency calls they refer you to 3 different ER vet clinics(which 2 were at capacity and 1 was 8 hr wait) so when I brought home new puppy that 1 day later was sick it was devastating to spend hours calling every where to find a place to treat him so whilst searching I found Airvet & Dr. Noel gave me helpful information & when I did get him to ER Vet & puppy was positive for Parvo , he answered question & gave me the info I needed to ask the er vet appropriate questions so I could make the right care & financial decisions in his treatment ……it’s horrible to have weigh emotions & care against finances ($4k into treatment) so having educated questions to ask has been invaluable!! We were sitting for our son’s dog, Axel, and he ate a piece of brownie that fell on the floor. I knew chocolate is toxic, so I called his vet and their message suggested I download the this app App. Once I signed up and logged in to Airvet , Dr. Timothy Lassiter answered a video call at 9 PM and talked me through the various scenarios and referred me to an ER Vet if our dog starts to show signs of toxicity. I was not aware that Xylitol, which is found in most cake and brownie mixes, is also toxic to dogs. Dr. Lassiter was very helpful and said I could text him later if Axel gets worse. It was well worth the small fee to get professional advice without having to drag him to the ER Vet in the middle of the night. Thank you Dr. Lassiter!💙🐶

My vets office had no idea how to use this, just told me it was the only way to speak to my vet about my dogs surgery. BIG mistake! Post-Op I was worried that something was wrong. Tried this app and seen it was $30 to speak to the vet. Called vet office and they wanted to make appointment and charge me for office visit! 8 months later.... my 7 yr old dog is ill for the 1st time. Have an office visit. Doc tells me to open a case for communication for free follow up. Not sure how to do that, so I called the vet office for guidance. Well, “Chantelle” told me to use the 24/7 tab and it would auto select my pre-selected Vet I registered on this app. Nope. Random out out my state Vet tried to video call 2x. I declined both times. COST ME $40 to decline calls! AND I can’t remove my stored credit card. My take away? this app is horrible and if you bet office pushes Airvet? Be Leary. Found out my small town vet sold out and is now just a money mill.

We have a cat that will eat or chew on ANYTHING. He’s not even 2 and has racked up $5,000 in emergency vet bills. Saturday night he stopped eating and drinking, and was really lethargic and although I was willing to take him to the emergency vet, I really didn’t want another huge bill, so I downloaded Airvet. It’s incredible! For $30 I got to video chat with a vet, she walked me through how to examine him, it wasn’t rushed at all, and at the end she wrote down notes and recommendations. You can also message them with any additional questions afterwards. Seriously amazing! Download Airvet, total game changer! BTW kitty is doing well :)

I just used this app to do a telemedicine/teletriage with my dog (Skywalker) and it was hands down the best thing I’ve experienced in a while. $30. Was signed up and talking to a vet in under 2 mins. He walked me through a bunch of checks and spent a ton of time with me (25 mins) to make sure I understood everything. Highly recommended - if only for peace of mind! Probably saved me $500+ from going to the emergency vet on Memorial Day.

Sky is doing ok, just a minor back injury. He thinks he is still a puppy and jumped down off a bed that was too high. He’ll have to learn he’s old at some point. Bed rest and lots of love. ♥️

My cat is a terror when trying to get her out of the house and to a vet. Airvet saved me from scratches and evil cat syndrome by being able to use it in the comfort of my home. The veterinarians are great and very helpful! I was expecting a minimal answer to the problem my cat is having and recommending me to go to a local vet but that was totally opposite from the support I got. I received genuine help and recommendations that can help my cat get better. The awesome thing is that the vet working with you will follow up about how your pet is doing. This is way more cost effective than a physical veterinarian. I’m recommending Airvet to people.

Dr. Weber, was great. I was so worried about my dog and nobody seemed to be able to help do to this virus. He called me way after his normal business day would have ended. He walked me through everything I should do to help her. He also was able to put me at ease that what I was doing so far was the right thing.
I would definitely recommend this veterinarian for anyone that has issues with their pets.
I wish I was there so I could shake his hand.
So far the best and smallest amount I have ever spent for this kind of service.

My dog suddenly started vomiting and having diarrhea in the middle of the night, and I tried to see if I could use this app. I love the idea of being able to talk to a vet 24/7, but I was stuck on the waiting screen to talk to a vet for 20 minutes until I received a notification saying no vets are available. That was a waste of time. Im fine with waiting, but there’s no way to find out how many others are in front of the “line” or if there are even any vets available in the middle of the night.

A huge improvement in experience would be letting me know how many others are in front, if a vet is even available, or an approximate amount of time I may need to wait.

My dog was restless through the night and acting off with a few other symptoms. With no good options for weekend vet visits nearby and not wanting to pay the costs associated with those visits anyways I’m glad I found Airvet! I was immediately connected to a kind, helpful bet. It was great to be able to show her my dogs behavior at home in real time. She instructed me to check a few things and spent the time answering questions. SO worth the $30 and this will be my go to whenever my dog has any issues on weekends or after hours.

I have used Airvet twice now in emergency situations when our regular vet was closed. I love Airvet, because for a minimal fee, I can get advice, without trying to call around to see if any other veterinarian/emergency clinics are open. It’s just comforting to know that I’ve got Airvet on my phone, and that within a couple of minutes, I’m talking live to a vet on face time. Much cheaper than paying hundreds of dollars just to walk through the door, at an Emergency Veterinarian, only to find out it wasn’t necessarily. Well worth the $30 fee!

My poor little canary bruised his little wing and it was bleeding like crazy. The first vet couldn’t help me (because she wasn’t an avian vet), so she said she would pass on my info to “headquarters.” Little did I know that the FOUNDER of the company would contact me himself within minutes to connect me to an avian vet. The vet was able to direct me and help me get him the care he needed. And the best part, he’s going to be okay! If you’re a parent to an animal or if you’re a vet, rest assured that this company does things the right way for the right reasons.

Can’t say enough great things about this service. Very helpful to connect face to face with a Vet to discuss the questions and concerns I have about my dog. The call connection was immediate and I was able to walk the vet through my short history with my recently rescued pup, ask a few questions, and then get detailed advice. The best part? I did the entire call from my couch! Very useful service for any pet parent in normal times, but especially during the pandemic, this app made my life so much easier! Thanks this app Team!

Having an issue with my neighbors dog I didn't know what to do. Rushing to an emergency vet seem to be without reach but necessary so the comfortable option was to do a Tele visit. I tried a Nother app and they took so long focusing on payment and phone calls and all this crap I asked out of it and found this Angel of an app who made it so fast and so easy to get to the doctor right away from downloading Airvet to talking to the doctor it was within minutes. I highly recommend for emergency situations

My dog is aggressive and doesn’t like new people so it’s hard to get him into a vet safely. I saw Airvet an downloaded it thinking maybe I’ll get an answer. I was hesitant on the $30 charge but when I was directed to a vet at a very fast speed they gave me the best advice on how to help my dog with his problem. Worth the money when you can’t afford to get a heafty vet bill for them to say the same thing. Also it’s very convenient that there are 24/7 vets to help me on a Friday night! Highly recommend Airvet!!!

Our family will ALWAYS go to Conyers Animal Hospital and Dr. Johnson is BEYOND knowledgeable, helpful, compassionate, kind and professional. During this tense time of COVID-19 when we all struggle to continue our daily lives.. we have a furry family that needed help. Needed urgent advice on a Sunday morning when no local vets were able to see my Frenchie and received expert advice that turned out to be the exact diagnosis. Easy as sending high res photo and connecting quickly via FaceTime to a lovely vet in Florida (I’m in LA). Highly recommended. While vet can’t 100% give meds / treatment due to lack of physical exam, etc. she reassured me I needed to get her to local ER that day and gave me some tips in advance. She even helped call other local-area vets for me to see if she could help get me normal appointment. #AboveAndBeyond

Airvet is everything! My French Bulldog jumped off the back of my couch and hurt his front leg. I was freaking out thinking he broke it and was about to take him to the emergency vet because it was after regular office hours, but remembered my vet told me about this app! Took 2 seconds to sign up and I was on a FaceTime call with a vet within minutes. She let me know it was just a strain, gave me steps of how to care for it, and that an emergency vet visit is unnecessary. Saved me a trip and sooooo much money! 10/10 would recommend!

Airvet saved my 16 year old cat just before Christmas. It was on the weekend and she became very ill and needed help quickly. I discovered that our vet uses this app and I was able to talk with her about my cat kid. We met her at the office on Sunday morning and started treatment which saved my sweet cat’s life. I am very thankful for this app and highly recommend it to all pet parents. It can be the difference between life and death for your pets.

I’m 8.5 months pregnant so driving and waiting anywhere is a problem for me at the moment. this app saved the day when my dog got bit by a neighbor’s dog that got loose. I was able to snap photos of the puncture wounds and live video chat with my vet. The vet viewed the pics and the dog remotely, recommended some home care, and advised that there was no need for an in-person visit at the moment. Thank you!

My dog had a small irritation and I wasn’t sure how serious it was. My wife wanted me to take him in which as we all know costs a fortune. My friend told me about Airvet so I thought I’d try it out and it connected me with my vet over a video call. He was able to diagnose the issue and send the prescription to me so I didn’t have to leave my house and saved money doing so.

This was absolutely an amazing experience. Airvet is not only convenient but extremely user friendly! Within 15 minutes of submitting pictures I had a diagnosis! Very reasonable fee as well! I actually can’t wait to use it again for minor pet issues/consults. What an innovative approach to veterinary medicine! Highly recommend to all!

Found out my regular vet left the clinic I take my kitty to for his medical care. I was able to get a call from his regular vet (Dr Werber), who was able to see my cat without me having to trick him into a cat carrier and drag him across town.

I really like Airvet. It’s easy to use, and and set up. I like that it also has a chat feature, so if you need to text your vet, you can.

Airvet came to the rescue when we had a problem with our lab puppy at 5 am on a Sunday. The vet answered our call very quickly and gave amazing feedback and saved us a trip to the vet. Highly recommend and will be using Airvet every time in the future.

Baby’s and kids always get sick on the weekend when the doctors office is closed. The this app doctor was great to offer help for our puppy’s upset tummy. I would recommend this service to everyone..
