The game itself is decent, but the relentless ad spam is just awful, especially for those of us with data caps.

Pros:
Cute 8 bit style
Violence and gore(villagers explode into body parts you can then collect)
Playing as the bad guys(killing innocents, kidnapping princesses)
Core mechanics of gameplay is fun
Music(even if a little castlevania rip)
Cons:
Balancing...is the biggest problem. You always feel underpowered and feel your just BARELY making it through the missions/nights.
Grinding, the amount of grind is stupidly insane.
Transmutation system is nice but you CANNOT get certain body parts of you are playing airplane mode(to avoid the constant adds.)
Overall fun mobile game, worth checking out if your into cute 8 bit versions of popular horror characters, but expect difficulties and a massive grind. For new players make sure to pay attention to the transmutation feature and collect body parts as that will help early difficult sections.
EDIT: spent a week with the game and I have to downgrade my review, a couple issues popped up in late stage game such as 1) levels stop changing past night 35(they default to the same most difficult levels from then on with rising costs every time) this issue makes not only the final levels a giant grind but also devolve replay value past night 35 to zero. 2) the dailies do not change after you’ve upgraded EVERY weapon so once that’s done you’ll never get the daily coins from those challenge again.
3) cost of upgrading characters/weapons becomes unbearable and due to balancing issues you’ll spend over 7000 diamonds to upgrade Dracula when he’s not even the best character to use. Even with the best weapon upgraded to max you’ll still have MAJOR difficulty with bosses and knights. This goes with the cost of constantly buying supplies, based off the math you will eventually get to the point in the game(night 45+) where the returns from the levels do not give enough coins to buy the supplies to survive the game.
Overall this game is awesome premise and looks fantastic but underneath the cutesy 8 bit horror is a fundamentally flawed execution of a game. DO NOT SPEND MONEY ON THIS GAME as even if you do you will be forced to stop playing it when the game becomes too hard.

This is a fun game but the game continually freezes and the little exploding guys are impossible to kill with a sword plus this game feels like another game but I guess that the 8 bit makes a difference...
