I enlisted and USMCSquadBay is absolute dog crap

I don’t understand why I have to have a registration code to use USMCSquadBay . I have already been through meps and have my ship out date, why do I need a code? How do I even receive the code? USMCSquadBay needs to be updated to where there is no code to have access to it. All I’m trying to do is keep myself on track.

I tried to register but I don’t have a registration code. Who can give me one?

The kids don’t use it and it’s easier to find better workouts online. ICorps is the far better investment

App is pointless, doesn’t provide useful tools, workouts, or knowledge compared to numerous better apps like Icorps or USA forces.

Will not let me register. Says my code/email doesn’t match up.

I think as a poolee USMCSquadBay is great but it could be better. I wish USMCSquadBay was better because here some actual ways.
1. Be able to have chats a lot more open then just the specific RSS. Kinda like discord where you have a code or an invite to be able to meet other poolees.
2. Have actually Work out plans then just PFT and IST where you just place the numbers in.
3. For the knowledge test, to have certain knowledge sections in specific order to make it easier to memorize.

I get this is only to help prepare and a lot of it has to do with how willing a poolee is able to do their research and also their workouts on their own. But it would be nicer to include these features so that this could “the place” to go for if not most of your Marine Corps knowledge and preparedness.

The tests do not really help you memorize things you need to know. Also it would be better if things like the General Orders were placed in order when you review the study guide.

My recruiter sent me my registration code, I created my account but every time I go to select a “ship date” USMCSquadBay crashes.

I tried deleting and redownloading as well as trying the squad bay website and neither option was a solution, was really looking forward to utilizing USMCSquadBay but this is a major let down....

Allow accounts to be able to edit their shipping date. Often times, that can change for poolees and USMCSquadBay has no way to edit the program for a new date.

The Reporting to Recruit Training quiz won’t open when I click on it and neither will the study cards for that quiz. I can access all of the other quizzes except that one. Amazing app, easy to use, I just need the quiz fixed.

Adding the ability to create group messages for each recruiter and the RSS/RS as a whole would also work amazingly well.

Love USMCSquadBay, it’s great. One thing though is that SB will often kick me off of it after more than a few days without logging in. I’m guessing it’s a security feature, and it’s merely a slight inconvenience, but one that is a pain nonetheless.

As a Poolee it’s an amazing asset!

I had a problem with a quiz of ranks that marked me incorrectly but is in the correct order

Would be nice if it kept me logged in. But lots of useful info for sure

USMCSquadBay is very useful for preparing for Physical and Educational part before official PT.

With that being said, is there a way to actually update ship date?

I’m a poolee and I haven’t got my code yet, how long does it take?
