I can’t even get into the app to see anything

So right now I am working for dominos cause I need some money before start college and everything. Well they are partnered with this app and gave me a this app card and I was not expecting that at all. So I activate my card and get Fintwist and it was working for about a month apart from the fact I can’t see and paystubs but now I can’t even get into Fintwist anymore. It just logged me out and told me for my security the application has timed out then it juat loads for eternity. I don’t want my money being put into this useless app because I can’t even see how much money I have. And not even that I can’t put gas in my car or take money out the atm I’ve been scraping the bottom of the barrel for scraps from other accounts so I can just put gas in my car. Something’s gotta be done about the horrible service because I can’t even commute to my everyday life with these setbacks

The app is horrid and customer support is worse.

I have worked in the customer relations field for over 30 years and have yet to experience this kind of incompetence. I was trying to transfer funds from this card to a personal bank account. Support calls that a direct deposit and that doesn’t work now. They are apparently waiting on update from their IT about fixing it and haven’t heard anything. This has been since March 2021 at least (it is October as of this review). Solution to goes to bank for a cash advance. It was a simple issue and I am more frustrated and aggravated than before. For the sake of your own sanity, I would highly recommend using a different service if you can.

An Absolute Nightmare

Takes two weeks just to set up a banking account, then on tile of that the bank transfers do not work. You cannot look at your paystubs to see taxes taken out, hours worked, or anything. The card itself works but when you have bills to pay and want to transfer money, this will screw you over in a heartbeat. Especially if your personal bank is out of town. Can only withdraw 400$ at a time from an atm.

App does NOT work AT ALL.

App won’t even open to let you view your account. Just says it timed out and gives you a spiraling circle and NEVER opens. I’ve delete Fintwist and reinstalled three times. Nope! That still didn’t work. The online desktop version doesn’t work either… what a surprise. If I could give it a 0, I absolutely would.

Why bother?

This is a fine example for an app that begs the question, why bother? If you cannot transfer money from your card/account to a different account or even do much of anything in Fintwist what possible reason is there that makes people even use it?

This card company is the worst of the worst. They have horrible customer service. You wait for months on end for responses on anything. The representatives on the even lie about procedures so you truly don't have a grasp of an idea on anything you ask about. Do not work with this company.

APP NIT WORKING

Fintwist is not working right now really don’t know what’s going on fr. They probably scamming us out our money. Can’t even see my balance through Fintwist which means I’m going to have to call & get charged to hear my balance smh.

ABSOLUTE WORST

I don’t know where to start. Using proper login data will not get you logged in. Calling for support, which has limited hours, gets them to “reset” your account so you could login, then bringing on different results among your various devices and browsers, only to fail you again and to — seemingly — require another reset. But then the “reset” is a joke, because what that does is allow you to re-enroll, but I found you could “re-enroll” without calling for a reset if you’re lucky enough to find the “enroll” button on your screen that never seems to display properly. It was a very garbled display for me, whether I used Safari, Firefox or Chrome, whether on my iPhone or my Mac. I’m not gonna even try my Windows. This company is just not worth my time. And if you do get into your account, you might be able to see only one specific month of transactions, no matter what month you have entered for display. What a joke! And, like at least one other person reviewing this disgraceful app, using this company was not my choice. Just fell subject to an employer’s use of this company for payroll check deposit. Time to open an account elsewhere. Good grief! I am FORCED to give Fintwist 1-star. But like my college philosophy instructor who gave NEGATIVE exam grades, I actually give Fintwist a grade of NEGATIVE 12.

Not for adult use

Fintwist seems as though it was a pilot for elementary children learning about building an app and website. Key features that are included on any other banking and money management app are either not included or not accessible. I’m having to print my info to verify with the government and what can I not find????? - A very basic and simple list of deposits with days, amounts and source. This is a trash app joke. It’s important that I mention this was not MY choice. Don’t waste your time calling customer service either. Not only do they not understand, they will say their inadequacy to provide a cohesive money management tool is YOUR problem and instead volunteer to email your deposit history, which doesn’t satisfy the need to have access on your own. Who wants to call each time a printout is needed? Then they don’t send the requested documents as promised. Login issues on the computer... someone needs to do something to regulate this mess that these people put out

I have no words.

All seemed fine until i had my first incident where they froze my card for no particular reason. For some reason they wouldn’t simply unfreeze it, i had to get a new card. Okay, whatever. (This was in November of 2019, i had to WALK to work instead of getting an uber like i usually do because they wouldn’t unfreeze my card. ) So a week ago i *finally* was able to open a bank account and i download Fintwist only to realize i can’t log in??? So i try to go to the website to log in and it says i’m BLOCKED??? FROM ACCESSING MY OWN ACCOUNT WITH INFORMATION ABOUT THE MONEY I EARNED?????? When did this happen and WHY was i not notified?? Now i’m sitting here so frustrated i’m on the verge of tears because i just want to transfer the money off of this stupid card into my bank account so i can leave this all behind. and “customer service” is NO help at all so don’t even waste your time. If i could give zero stars, i would because this is an absolute joke.

Why can’t I put 0 stars 😞

Fintwist is the absolute worst, first of all I took money out of a subcharge atm and I still got the fees added to my account ?! Then I set up direct deposit and nothing gets deposited into my account when I get paid, I call customer service and they tell me to do the opposite of what the website says ( not to mention it’s all around enough confusing because of all the different names they use ), pretty much they tell me that I have to input the amount of money I want sent to my other accounts ( which didn’t make sense because on the website it said I had to type in the amount I wanted left on the Comdata account ) but whatever I did that and now I get paid again and still nothing happens ??????? The money is still in the card which is the worst and customer service is just as confused as I am

Do not use this service!!!

If you are an employer, don’t use this service for your employees sake. If you got hired by a company using this service quit now and find a company that doesn’t use them. This is the absolute worst payroll processing company on the planet!!! I have been with my company for nearly a year and they still cannot get my direct deposit to process properly. And every few months I have to get a new card because of some fraud alert on the current one I have. I have never had this kind of issue with any pay card or bank except for these idiots. Every time I call they say they are having maintenance issues. I am getting ready to quit working for a company that I actually enjoy working for because they only use this service for payroll.

If zero stars were available, that’s what I’d put.

This bank has scammed me out of over 50 dollars in fees from several transactions that were not authorized by me. These transactions took place months ago. I still haven’t been refunded my money. They told me one to ten business days so I wait. On the 11th business day I call to see where my money is, they say “there is a delay in the system from the update,” but didn’t bother letting me know that when my dispute was approved. The next day I call and the reps have a terrible attitude. I call the next day and they say oh your money SHOULD be in the account in the “next few days” 😑 they have scammed me out my money. I am homeless. I can’t even afford soap. The money was supposed to be in there. Where is it!??? Im fed up

Horrible

I never take time out of my day to write reviews but Fintwist is so not even convenient. It’s absolutely horrible. I can no longer login because my information is incorrect when it’s definitely not. My card seems to be unable to purchase online and I called customer service. I tried to call customer service again after the issue was said to be fixed within 24 hours, which it WAS. But again I’m unable to purchase items online. Then calling customer service I was even able to access them because that doesn’t seem to work either. It’s frustrating.

They app need to be taken down

Terrible my suspend button disappeared I’m trying to pull all the money off my card through paypal and cancel this card but can’t because I suspended it when I lost it now I don’t have the choice to turn it off because the button is gone and I worked to not get paid cause my card is lost any when I call support ask me for my card number

UPDATE: Called 3 times to try to get new card tried to tell me I didn’t have account gave them my login and employee ID number still couldn't help worst experience ever just go to a real bank this is not it chief

this app is one of the better financial apps I have ever used to improve the overall financial use of my employees. It is quick, easy, and simple. I have switched over from a former payroll company and have been using this app for a few months now. I highly recommend using this app to all companies looking to improve the health of their workforce when dealing with payroll.

Always Something

The website never works on my laptop! It always says error or something about my password being wrong. Even AFTER I reset it, it wouldn’t let me login! I just wanted to check the balance on my card to see if I had been refunded. Fintwist itself does the same thing as the website, it never works. This is my work banking system and I just want to check the balance after making so many purchases and I can’t even do that. Like seriously they sent me a new password through email and that doesn’t even work! Fix this God forsaken app!

Works when it wants to

Constantly tells me I’ve timed out when I haven’t even logged in and continues to load which I’ll have to force quit and bring it back up to be met with the same outcome over and over again until it finally decides to let me in. It’s already bad enough that unless you live near a regions bank ( which I don’t ) you can’t put money on it or have third parties do it so once the money is gone the card is done until I get another direct deposit. I’m not gonna waste time typing anymore complaints this application needs major work.

Absurd app

Fintwist is just a trash as whole company providing this kind of service. Fintwist is useless. I would never use Fintwist, but my employer decided to send paychceks there, without letting me know. It’s been more than 2 months I can’t transfer my money to BOfA accout. It’s just not possible. I have never used Fintwist for anything else, but to transfer the money to safe place.
Customer service ? I wrote them so many times... no answer. I don’t know what to do... I am out of states for a long time.
Don’t let your employer send your money via this terrible service. Avoid them

Awful awful awful awful

Got a Comdata card when I quit my job with my remaining payout. Tried to sent up a bank transfer on Fintwist and it’s literally the dumbest user experience in my life. The website isn’t much better.

First off, Fintwist doesn’t even load half the time. Forget about saving sign in data or using Face ID, that’s too advanced for this bad boy.

Set up the transfer 3 days ago and there’s nothing anywhere that indicates the status of it. NO WHERE. I had to dig through Google search results to find out that it sometimes takes 10 days or longer for a transfer to go through. Ridiculous. Would’ve been easier to pay myself the entire amount off the card in Venmo or something. In fact that’s what I’d recommend all of you do instead of use this crappy app.

Now I’m playing a waiting game with my money in limbo. 1 star.

No access to your money

PUT 100% OF YOUR PAYCHECK TO DIRECT DEPOSIT, THEY WILL NOT LET YOU ACCESS YOUR MONEY WHEN YOU NEED IT. So if your company has put you in a position where you’ll never find one of their atm’s or your own personal bank loncations you are screwed, they don’t allow online transfers AND REQUIRE YOU TO RESET YOUR ENTIRE ACCOUNT EVERYTIME TO ACCESS THE FULL WEBSITE AND BILL PAY SERVICES WHICH TAKE 10 DAYS TO PROCESS REGARDLESS.... ABSOLUTELY USLESS BANKING SOLUTION, name any other bank even Wells Fargo is better than this.. I’ve never been more screwed over by a paycard system..

Horrible app

I had to use this card because of my employer. At first it was working fine but the ability to transfer money from my card to my bank account is now gone. When I called customer support they told me by the end of October it would be fixed. We’re in November & the service is still down. Fintwist has started telling my that my login information is incorrect and I cannot sign in through Fintwist . Worst app ever.

I have over $120 in unauthorized charges. We were told they were filing a dispute for us. Never heard back. Called repeatedly. It's been 6 months and now they can't even find the dispute. I would recommend fintwist to NO ONE

Transfer money on card to bank option on the website doesn’t work so you can’t get the money you worked for. Card gets declined anywhere you try to use it since you can’t pull the money out of the account. Customer service is horrible and no responsive. If your company gives you this card, I would suggest quitting right there on the spot.

most difficult payroll company to work with. My old company laid me off for some stupid reason and I could not for the love of god find a paycheck stub to prove who was paying me. The company name didn't work, comdata would not give me information either. They basically held me at a ransom for any information for me to apply for unemployment. Took me over 6 weeks to get my claim to go through because of how difficult both companies were being. Customer service is god awful too. They outsource to foreign countries who barely know what they're doing and are very unhelpful. this company needs to go out of business. They're even holding my own money against me its so difficult to get it deposited. ABSOLUTELY AVOID IF YOU CAN, THEY DO NOT DESERVE TO STAY IN BUSINESS

This card keeps stealing my money.i get paid 343.50 but can only take out 315.what happened to the rest of my money? Happens everything I have money deposited on the card.i get ripped off for more every time.it started out as 2 or 3 dollars then 6 then 12 now this time it was 28. I tried to use my card at a family dollar after work. It was declined due to technical issues. It worked fine this morning, but by the time I got home from work, I could not access the money on it. This has never happened before and customer service said their system was under maintenance, try again in an hour. They use an office in India!! why anyone should trust anyone in India is beyond me!!

I just got this card and already have been locked out of my money.. THEY claim fraudulent charges were made and disabled my card.. I called and requested my card be reinstated.. Nope.. They can only send out new card.. Waited without access to my money for a week and called back.. Rep stated that when I ordered new card that call dropped so transaction did not go through which is the biggest bullcrap ever.. Call did not drop..!!! So, here I go waiting another supposedly 3-5 days for another card.. In the mean time, transactions are bouncing everywhere.. I have NEVER dealt with such a poorly ran company with individuals who know nothing about Customer Service and their product.. As soon as I can get access to my money, I will be taking it out and cutting up this worthless card and saying goodbye to this worthless company..

The absolute worst app I've ever had .. unable to use card at merchant...charges you 1.00 if declined. And it will decline it....call customer service am told I never set a pin BUT I used card with Pin I'd set previously.... somehow my pin just disappeared.... probably so they could make the 1.00 fee for declines.. BTW. Lmao. I could literally hear roosters crowing when I was speaking to the customer service agent. Where the hell is there offices

Their support is Offshore somewhere, clueless non-existent and cannot speak decent English. Nearly Impossible to understand! They have a multitude of card and account fees to take your money! I used my card at a local ATM terminal last night around 1 AM. My transaction was denied, I called customer service and they replied there have been some fraudulent activity from that terminal and assured me My card would be restored Within 1 to 2 hours. It is now 6:24 PM, I am still unable to use my card at any ATM, And I have called a total of six times only to be told the same exact thing each time. Not only that, they said they would give me a call when my card has been restored. Personally my experience with Fintwist Solutions customer service department rates lower than the scale provided in a survey.

Comdata's Fintwist card and website are AWFUL! I haven't bothered with the app. And will not. The site is not useful or helpful and you really cannot do any needful operations through it besides just checking your account balance and that's it. I got the card through a temp agency and they issue this crappy card. With other temp agencies, you have usually have the option to have payment directly deposited into your bank account OR you can use an EASY to set up debit card. NOT THE CASE WITH COMDATA AND FINTWIST! You are MANDATED to use the card and you're supposed to LINK the card to your bank account for transfer (which is stupid because you should just be able to use your bank account for deposits outright WITHOUT their card). I set up the card and got it activated, but could not establish a link to my bank account because the several papers listing the directions to do it are too confusing. The directions are confusing and the fact that mandating linking a card to your bank account in the first place is dumb. I had to call customer service to make sure my card was activated and then have the operator disconnect the bank link because it wasn't established, anyway! On top of that you cannot use this card in SEVERAL situations! You cannot use it to withdraw cash at ATMs or for cash back at registers. You also can only use the card with card readers ONLY if credit option is available. Otherwise, you cannot swipe this card to pay for anything at terminals. Ridiculous! I had to make a payment on my car note, today. I didn't currently have cash in my bank account, so I knew I had to use this Fintwist card instead. Couldn't pay online because my dealership's online method will only connect to bank accounts (again, not enough money in there right now). Couldn't pay over the phone because only debit is allowed over the phone. Drove all the way to dealership to pay with this card in person. Didn't work because, again, if credit is not an option you cannot use this card to pay for stuff at terminals. So drove here for nothing. I just got sick of it and asked my boyfriend to send me the money I needed online to my bank account. I used that to FINALLY make my payment. I am paying back my boyfriend the money, but told him the only way he can use the reimbursed money is to pay for things as credit, otherwise he will not be able to use that card. And you can forget about ATM withdrawals! Again, Fintwist doesn't allow that, either! Stupid card. Stop issuing this card! It is extremely limiting and a waste.

1. I really dislike using the app since the company switched it from comdata to fintwist the app is really not user friendly. 2. I have had my account hacked once. 3. They do maintenance over night and you can not make withdrawals or access your account which is very inconvenient for those of us that work nights. I was trying to withdrawal money from my debit card off the atm while at work so that i would have all the money i need to buy a car the next day and was unable to make the withdrawal due to it being down for maintenance. 4. Another inconvenience is that there is no local bank in my city.

This app and really the card itself is absolutely HORRIBLE. I spend more money on fees than I do anything else. I will DEFINITELY be transferring my paychecks to PayPal. Screw this app and the card.
